THE prestigious World Indoor Bowls Championships is rolling on at speed at Potters Resorts with a huge day of quarter-finals action taking place RIGHT NOW.
Stewart Anderson had been the firm favourite to win the open singles title once again this year after he picked up the iconic award for a third time in 2024.
But the Scotsman was sent CRASHING OUT by David Gourlay MBE in the first of four massive quarter-finals.
On Thursday, Julie Forrest become a three-time champ after beating Beth Riva 2-1 in a thrilling final on Thursday – Riva leaves Potters having won the mixed pairs alongside Jason Banks earlier this week.
