The first QD branch was opened in Norwich in 1985.
It has kept a simple red and white logo of QD, which stands for the store’s name.
In April 2022, the chain decided to give fellow discounters Poundland and Home Bargains a run for their money by offering a frozen food section.
Despite this, a number of shoppers have still never heard of the brand.
