ITV comedy Piglets has been given a second series, despite being widely panned.
The show about a cop training school aired last July and was blasted by critics.

Even the Police Federation were up in arms over its“offensive” title.
But one of its stars, Ricky Champ, has revealed ITV are sticking with it.
And filming for the next instalment will get underway next year.
On the Reading Between The Lines podcast, he said: “Piglets has been commissioned for series two.
“It’s crazy, because we got absolutely slammed.
“The first series came out and it was met with absolute venom – across the board.
“Immediately, I thought, ‘That’s that done’.
“But it got good figures and ITV obviously noticed that.”
The critics will argue it can’t get much worse.
JULIAN’S BRILL ON THE BOX
JULIAN CLARY has yet to make an appearance on Celebrity Gogglebox.
But if his damning verdicts of some of favourite long-running series are anything to go by, Channel 4 should think about signing him up for some comedy gold.

Julian revealed: “I like watching things that aren’t meant to be funny, like Alan Titchmarsh’s Love Your Garden.
“What happens is a researcher is sent out to find someone either recently bereaved or terminally ill, then they lure them away from their lovely home.
“Alan and the team arrive and rip out anything of interest from the back garden, and sprinkle a bit of coloured gravel and install the cheapest water feature that they can find.
“And then the poor bereaved person is lured back home and inevitably they cry.”
He added: “I like that. It’s light entertainment.”
STACEY DOOLEY is returning with a new docu about shoplifting.
The BBC Three show will investigate why the crime is at its highest, costing businesses £1.8billion a year.
It has also been confirmed Stacey has an additional single documentary and two new series in the works for the Beeb.

STRICTLY SAMBA KO RETURNS
THE Strictly Dance-A-Thon is making a comeback later this month.
On last night’s Strictly: It Takes Two on BBC Two, host Janette Manrara, revealed the remaining couples will have to impress the judges with their best Samba moves.
It will take place after all couples have performed their main dance, and will see them eliminated by the judges one by one, until the last couple are left dancing.
It’s all to play for, as their position in the Samba-Thon will also affect each couple’s overall score for the night, with the losers at risk of being voted off.
The dance challenge will feature on the BBC One dance show on November 23.
