AN ENOURMOUS fire has engulfed a retail park as plumes of smoke billow into the sky sparking a huge emergency response.

Onlookers have spotted grey smoke rolling out over the shop in Altrincham retail park in Broadheath, Manchester, with eyewitnesses describing it as a “large fire”.

The dark clouds of smoke can be seen moving over lines of cars coming from a nearby building.

It appears to have started near Altrincham Retail Park in Broadheath earlier today.

Emergency service vehicles have been seen racing to tackle the blaze.

The Sun has reached out to Greater Manchester Police and Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service for a comment.
