LOVE Island’s Anna Vakili has revealed that a MARRIED Premier League footballer has tried to hook up with her.
The 33-year-old appeared in series five of the ITV2 show, alongside Molly Mae Hague and Maura Higgins.
But it was feeling the heat while taking part in Fabulous’ Spill or Chill? YouTube challenge, that made the reality star confess all when she was asked if anyone famous had “slid into her DMs”.
She spilled: “I had an Arsenal player slide into my DMs, which was really bad because he was married with kids and literally he has it all over his Instagram as well, so I don’t know what he was thinking.”
And the footie ace wan’t the only celeb keen to graft Anna hoping for a date.
“The weirdest DM for me on a personal level would be Lee Ryan from Blue, because I grew up liking him,” she added. “He was my biggest crush.
“I would have his pictures all over the walls of my bedroom. I’d write him letters like when I was young and then being older, and him messaging me was just like such a weird, surreal feeling.”

LOVE Island’s Grace Jackson has bagged a six-figure fashion deal with EGO – but who else has triumphed from the 2024 cohort?
The Sun exclusively revealed how the Manchester model, 25, has signed a whopping contract with fashion and shoe brand EGO after being inundated with offers following her stint in the villa.
She the first bombshell from her series, which was won by Mimii Ngulube and Josh Oyinsan, to land a brand deal off the back of the show.
Yet it came after make-up artist Samantha Kenny, 27 – an OG in Love Island’s 2024 cast line-up – scooped a big fashion deal with Glamify.
Meanwhile, mental health nurse Mimii, 24 – who triumphed in the show final – is also “set for million pound deals” as brands clamour to work with her.
A source was first to tell us: “Mimii has been taking back to back meetings with five agencies who are all bidding to sign her up.
“She’s being promised everything from TV shows to beauty deals to fashion lines – all worth up to a million.
“Anyone would expect her to rush into signing big money deals but she’s taking her time choosing who she works with.”
Love Island alumni Molly Smith, 30 – who had a second stab during this year’s All Stars series – also scooped a Boohoo deal following her stint on the spin-off.
But the celeb men keen for a date with Anna was not all the Love Islander revealed.
She also opened up about having a snog with a fellow contestant after being dumped on day 52.
The podcaster said: “I am going to let you in on a secret. We were in the casting villa for a few days after we left the show, before we went back to the UK and I actually did kiss someone in the casting villa.”
But she wouldn’t reveal the mystery man’s identity, adding: “I’m trying to be classy and not put things out there.”
