I turned £160 into a millionaire fortune by 24 – my business is so simple, I sell but don’t hold ANY stock

A SAVVY woman has revealed her secret to becoming a millionaire in her early twenties.

The entrepreneur managed to turn her job of dropshipping, a retail method where an online store sells products without keeping them in stock, and writing product descriptions into a website design company with a staff of freelancers under her.

She said: “When I started I only had $200 in my bank account, so setting goals for me was something very new, very different, and it was actually way out of my comfort zone.

“My first goal was actually $40,000 and I came up with new ideas because I set that high goal and I had to innovate.”

Jelline first started her side hustle when she was just 19 years old when she noticed dropshipping was a popular way to make money.

The law student, at the time, found that the role was not for her but she noticed an opportunity in the Facebook groups for people in need.

Jelline found that many dropshippers were struggling to write their product descriptions and she decided to use her natural writing ability as the basis of her next side hustle.

She pitched her skills to the group and eventually started making enough money to hire freelancers to write more product descriptions for her.

Jelline began to offer more services and learned how to create websites and make video adverts, with some creative designs.

This was how she reached her initial goal of $40,000 and emphasised the importance of setting goals and looking at new ways to expand.

She said: “When I was 19 years old, I wanted to start some side hustle.

“At the time, dropshipping was very popular, and I actually bought a course about it.

“After a while, I found out it wasn’t for me.

“I was still in the Facebook group for this course, and there were a lot of men and they needed product descriptions for their dropshipping websites.”

Jelline was studying at the time, and knew she had good enough writing skills to give it a try.

“That’s how I started my actual first company,” she explained, “I started with writing free product descriptions because I didn’t know at the time if I was even good at it or if people liked my service.

“My first few product descriptions were for free, so they didn’t pay anything at all.

“After a while, my customers were very satisfied, so I started asking for money.”

That’s when she started to hire freelancers to write the product descriptions for her, to churn out more and boost her income.

  3. Selling clothes on Vinted or Depop
  4. Start a Youtube or TikTok channel
  5. Tutoring

“I learned how to make websites, I learned how to make video ads and I actually learned everything myself,” she added.

“That’s how I actually reached my first goal of $40,000.

“If I never set a goal, I would never find new ways to reach such a high amount.”

Eventually, she managed to take a backseat, since the freelance could take on the bulk of the work, leaving her with more time on her hands – that’s when she discovered YouTube cash card channels.

“I started the YouTube channel, I learned how to hire freelancers and I had a lot of experience as well from my previous company.

“My first few videos gained like 50,000 views, but after a while I had some viral videos and I made like $2,000 in my second month.

“I got so many people asking me how I did it – like friends and family.

“I actually had to make a course because I couldn’t help everyone.

“That’s the third stream of income I started.

“I have 5000 students in my Dutch course, and that’s a big success as well.”

WHAT IS DROPSHIPPING?

Dropshipping is when a person or business sells products online without keeping inventory of stock.

Instead, the seller works with a supplier who will take care of the inventory and shipping.

The customer will place an order with the seller online, only then will the seller purchase the product from the supplier, who will then ship the product directly to the shopper.

There are pros and cons to this method. Notably, the shopper has no to little control of the quality of the products or shipping delays. However, it is also a flexible way to make money due to the low overhead.
