TINA O’Brien’s love life might be on the rocks – but for her Corrie character Sarah Platt, it’s just heating up.
The Sun last week revealed that the soap legend had split from her husband of six years Adam Crofts.

Sarah is about to enjoy a hot new romance with hunky policeman Kit Green, played by Jacob Roberts.
It’s off the back of Tina signing up for another year on the ITV soap.
A source said: “Bosses are relieved that Tina is up for another year on the cobbles after losing some big names over the past months.
“She’s got big storylines coming up for Sarah including a juicy new romance with gorgeous PC Green.
“Tina’s happy she can dive into work and keep busy amid her marriage split.”
Pals of Tina revealed she’d called time on her marriage to Adam three months ago after growing apart.
A source close to the couple, who first started dating in 2011, added: “Tina and Adam have ended their relationship and are spending some time apart.
“They moved house at Christmas and have decided to live separately for the time being.
”Tina and Adam are on good terms, they’re still close and are committed to being a family, even if they’re not together.”
The estranged couple share a son, Beau, while Tina is also mum to Scarlett, 16, from her previous relationship with Ryan Thomas.
Tina and Adam started dating in 2011 before marrying on New Year’s Eve in Manchester in 2018.
They have now both ditched their wedding rings and unfollowed each other online.
