Throughout her time on the show, her character was engulfed in a feud with Cilla Battersby-Brown (Wendi Peters) who worked at the rival chip shop.

They enjoyed their arguments, especially when Cilla stated that Jodie had the body of her father, Jerry Morton, and the face of “Jabba The Hutt”.

Cilla went as far to call in an exterminator, saying that thee kebab shop was infested with rats.

She retaliated by taking Cilla’s son Chesney’s (Sam Aston) dog, Schmeichel, and kept him hidden away in the garden shed.

Her character also shared a brief romance with Lloyd Mullaney (Craig Charles), before departing the cobbles 11 months later in November 2007.
