This terrifying incident ultimately saw his watch stolen in the process.
Speaking to The Sun’s TV Mag, George addressed how he felt about the frightening ordeal.
He said: “Yeah, I was robbed. It was quite an expensive watch.
“It had no sentimental value at all. And so I just let it go. If it was sentimental value, I think I would have been really, really distraught
about it.
“And in the end I just went, you know what? It’s just a watch. It wasn’t given to me by a member of my family.
“Was it traumatic? Absolutely. Of course it is.”
George also revealed how the stolen watch had been the “most expensive” one he’d bought.
He added: “Bad things can happen in robberies, can’t they? So I just let it go. And it just wasn’t worth it at the end of the day. That’s it.”
Last month, George first told his fans about the robbery via a post on Instagram.
The star wrote: “To the little **** who stole my watch tonight… I pity you.
“It’s only a watch at the end of the day. Although I loved it and grafted for it. But I could have been stabbed so let it go…”
Left furious by what happened, George admitted he wanted to hurt the person who had targeted him.
He continued: “I’m ok. I’m just angry with myself.
“I wanted to hit him but I’d be the one done for assault!!!!”
A concerned follower wrote: “Terrible, sorry that happened to you.”
Another said: “That’s rough. Frightening. Sorry George.”
A third posted: “Hope you are ok and weren’t hurt.”
