Luke Littler reveals what he’d be doing if he wasn’t a darts star after making more than £1milllion in a year

LUKE LITTLER has revealed what he would be doing if he didn’t make it as a top darts star.

The 17-year-old burst onto the scene at last year’s World Championship.

Littler’s earnings have now surpassed £1m[/caption]

He came out of nowhere to reach the final, beating the likes of Raymond van Barneveld, Brendan Dolan and Rob Cross along the way.

But he suffered a 7-4 defeat to world No1 Luke Humphries at the last hurdle.

Despite missing out on a maiden world title on his professional debut, Littler earned a spot in the Premier League Darts line-up.

He went on to win the competition at the first time of asking, beating Humphries in the final.

His career earnings have since surpassed £1million.

As a result, he was able to move his family into a new house earlier this year.

But if he didn’t make it as a darts player, Littler has revealed that he would be living the life of any normal teenager.

He told The Telegraph: “A back-up? Not really. I was just focused on darts. If it didn’t go to plan, I’d probably just be in college with my mates. Luckily for myself I’m here.”

Luke Littler prize money breakdown

Here is all the prize money Luke Littler has won so far after his Grand Slam of Darts victory:

World Championship 2023 – £200,000

Grand Slam of Darts 2024 – £150,000

European Tour – £91,000

Player Championships events – £71,500

UK Open 2023 + 2024 – £17,500

World Matchplay – £10,000

World Grand Prix – £7,500

European Championship – £7,500

(Unranked) Premier League Darts – £315,000

Littler is one of six people nominated for Sports Personality of the Year, alongside the likes of Jude Bellingham and Keely Hodgkinson.

He is also shortlisted for the Young Sports Personality of the Year award.

Discussing his nominations, the darts ace added: “It would be a big thing for myself but I’ve not really looked at it too much. The person in first [Hodgkinson, the favourite]… is it a runner?

“People don’t really class us as athletes do they? So, if I’m second to win it [with the bookies], that’ll do.”

Inside Littler's massive rise

LUKE LITTLER has taken the darts world by storm since exploding onto the scene at the PDC World Championship at the beginning of the year.

The Nuke reached the final on his Ally Pally debut at just 16 years of age – smashing records along the way.

He has then gone on to win a host of PDC events and the Premier League title – which he claimed at the O2 Arena by beating world champion Luke Humphries in May.

He also finished his first season in the World Series as the No1 ranked player.

He has joined Jude Bellingham on the Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe list.

And the teenage titan even had to snub an invite from the WWE.

The Sun exclusively revealed that Littler is plotting to create a fitness empire.

He is also cashing in away from the Oche thanks to an Instagram side hustle.

And he’s even the face of a brand new cereal.

But he is newly single after splitting from girlfriend Eloise Milburn following a 10-month relationship.

Halsey stuns in pink latex dress and knee high socks at premiere of Nicole Kidman’s steamy new movie

POPSTAR Halsey stunned in a skintight latex dress as they rocked up to a movie premiere in Los Angeles.

The 30-year-old paired the baby pink frock – with a hemline that skimmed their thighs and flashed their leg tattoos – with bright white knee-high socks.

Halsey, who goes by she/they pronouns, vamped up their look with black point-toe shoes and wet look long gloves, accessorised with silver bangles with padlock detail.

The dark shade was the perfect colour match for the Eastside vocalist’s short locks, which were styled with a side-parting.

The popstar, real name Ashley Frangipane, finished off their look with a pop of red lip colour and dark eye make-up.

They took to the Red Carpet at the premiere of Nicole Kidman movie Babygirl to pose for a series of solo shots before they were joined by fiance Avan Jogia.

The chart star then whipped off their gloves as they perched next to Santa Clause for a smiley picture.

Moulin Rouge star Nicole’s new movie, meanwhile, centres on a successful CEO who begins an affair with a younger intern.

ROUGH RIDE

Halsey’s Red Carpet appearance came after the Without Me hitmaker revealed they are “lucky to be alive.”

The New Jersey-born star opened up on being struck down by two serious illnesses this year – after fans expressed concern over their slender frame.

This summer, Halsey hinted they had been diagnosed with lupus and leukaemia.

The Grammy-nominated singer took to Instagram in June to announce new single The End – lead track from their fifth studio album – before revealing a secret health battle.

They told fans: “Long story short, I’m lucky to be alive,” before tagging in charities that support people living with lupus and leukaemia.

Speaking in a video posted online, Halsey said: “I told myself I’m giving myself two more years to be sick.

“When I’m 30, I’m having a rebirth and I’m not going to be sick.

“I’m going to look super hot and have lots of energy and get to redo my twenties and thirties.”

The star previously told how they had undergone surgery for endometriosis.

Ahead of the 2022 Grammy Awards, Halsey wrote on social media: “The last time I attended the Grammys was 2017 and it was three days after I had my first Endometriosis surgery.

“I walked the carpet with my stitches still in,” they recalled.

“As luck would have it, I’m attending tomorrow for the first time in years and I had surgery again (you guessed it) three days ago.

“Only posting this to say, if you see me be gentle lol I’m fragile. Fragile but excited.”
