Charity boss who accused Prince Harry of ‘bullying’ forced off social media after vile abuse from fans of Duke & Meghan

THE charity chief who accused Prince Harry of harassment has shut down her social media after she was trolled by “Sussex Squad” backers of the Duke and wife Meghan.

Sentebale’s Dr Sophie Chandauka was subjected to racial abuse and wild conspiracy theories.

Others branded her a “fraud jumping on a bandwagon of hate” in series of offensive messages.

A user with “TeamSussex” in their profile used a racist term to denounce Dr Chandauka.

A totally unfounded dig bizarrely claimed she was paid by William and Kate to discredit Harry, 40, and Meghan, 43.

A Sentebale spokesman said: “Dr Chandauka deleted her Twitter account due to the proliferation of online bullying.”

She had accused Harry of “harassment and bullying at scale” after he and other trustees quit the charity last week.

He created it in 2006 to continue mum Diana’s work helping people in southern Africa living with HIV and Aids.

Yesterday trustees hit out at the way the charity’s finances were managed.

Sentebale was in financial trouble despite getting £1.2million from Harry from the proceeds of his book Spare.

The Charity Commission is probing claims that £500,000 went on consultants to source wealthy US donors — a move which flopped.

Defending Harry, pal Alex Rayner said: “He is beyond heartbroken and flabbergasted that the charity he founded as a teenager has been taken hostage by the chair.

“It feels tantamount to a hostile takeover.”

Meanwhile, Meghan last night treated fans to a video of her dancing as she made jam.

France admits it could end small boats crisis – but Macron’s Brexit hatred stands in the way

Oui can help

IT’S quite the confession from France.

Its government knows it could solve the small boats crisis overnight by taking back all migrants landing illegally on our shores.

The French government knows it could resolve the small boats crisis immediately by taking back all migrants, but Emmanuel Macron’s hatred of Brexit is preventing action[/caption]

With the deadly trip rendered pointless, the numbers queuing for a dinghy in northern France would dry up

If they are sent straight back, it “would send a clear message”, admits Interior Minister Bruno Retailleau. You can say that encore une fois, monsieur.

Trouble is, President Macron loathes Brexit and wants it to fail. And he’s always preferred to let the small boats set sail than strike a bespoke deal direct with Britain to stop them.

Mr Retailleau is a no-nonsense character who also believes the ECHR too often “tramples” on nations’ sovereignty.

Can he persuade Macron to get real about ending this appalling, lethal trade?

Sum friend

WHAT now for the “special relationship” if Donald Trump slaps punitive tariffs today on British exports to the US?

Our economy under Labour is already in dire straits.

Trump’s deranged “liberation day” could even tip us, supposedly America’s No1 ally, into recession

That seems the likely fate of the US too. Millions re-elected Trump because prices soared under Joe Biden.

They didn’t vote for higher inflation and a collapse in their savings triggered by Trump’s ignorance about the effect of tariffs.

His international bullying is hammering stock markets — and generating fear among families and businesses across America and those nations it traditionally counts as friends.

And it could be terminal for our Government’s central mission, growth.

Not much is more important, then, than somehow talking Trump out of it.

Isles betrayal

LABOUR are lucky that those whose benefits they slashed are not paying more attention to the Chagos Islands debacle.

This wretched, inexplicable “deal” is finally done.

We surrender strategically vital British islands in the Indian Ocean to Mauritius, a distant African country with no valid claim.

Then we pay Mauritius £90million a year for 99 years, plus inflation, to lease back an airbase we already own.

It really is that deranged.

The Americans will realise, too late, what an own-goal it was when Mauritius lets Chinese warships circle the islands to spy on the UK-US Diego Garcia base.

The Government is coy about how it will fund this multi-billion-pound betrayal of our interests, motivated by wokery over “colonialism”.

But given what it is saving in welfare, it’s fair to say pensioners and the disabled are paying the bill

Good luck defending that on the doorsteps.

Inside scandal-hit ‘breastaurant’ Hooters’ demise – from sex abuse claims to fury at even skimpier shorts

IT’S the world-famous “breastaurant” known for chicken wings and hot chicks.

In tight T-shirts and skimpy shorts, waitresses have been dishing up fried chicken in Hooters restaurants worldwide for more than 40 years.

But now the parent company, Hooters of America, has filed for bankruptcy in the US, amid mounting debts.

It means 151 of its directly owned restaurants may face closure.

However, its 154 franchisees, including three UK restaurants, in Nottingham, Newcastle and Liverpool, are safe for now.

But the controversial chain’s sorry fate in the States points to a bigger problem, which might have heavier implications for Hooters employees and patrons everywhere: Is there still room for a brand that has been slammed for its “regressive” views on its female staff, and has faced lawsuits in the past for its “discriminatory” employment tactics?

The company’s desperate attempts to stay profitable in recent years — including a dramatic “rebrand” in 2022 to be more “family-friendly” — suggest the writing has been on the wall for a while.

The much-loved institution was founded in Clearwater, Florida, in 1983 by six businessmen, Gil DiGiannantonio, Edward C Droste, Billy Ranieri, Ken Wimmer, Lynn D Stewart and Dennis Johnson.

The self-titled “Hooters Six” were, by their own admission, “six clueless knuckleheads” with one vision.

“We wanted to open a neighbourhood joint with a beach theme, that we couldn’t get kicked out of,” Droste told USA Today.

They named their restaurant Hooters — double entendre slang for owls and women’s breasts — leaving no doubt what their selling power was.

And, to the group’s surprise, the concept took off.

The following year, food entrepreneur Robert H Brooks bought the small chain of Florida-based restaurants, expanding it to a worldwide brand with 430 outposts, plus an airline, an auto racing series, a golf tour, Las Vegas hotel, magazine and even a Hooters Mastercard.

With their barely-there outfits, the Hooters Girls represented its core values — giving Hugh Hefner’s Playboy bunnies a run for their money.

From day one, Hooters expected its waitresses to capitalise on their sex appeal and flirt with customers.

They had to agree to three statements: To wear the uniform, interact and entertain the customers, and that “the Hooters concept is based on female sex appeal”.

Yet some employees reported the rules changed over the years, especially when it came to their eye-popping outfits.

In 2021, the chain was rocked with complaints, after it emerged it had made the shorts even skimpier.

I ran around in tights and a leotard all day long anyway

Amy Adams

One waitress, Kristen Songer, said on TikTok: “There’s no longer anything covered by these shorts.

“This is why all the Hooters girls are upset — this is not what I agreed to wear a year ago when I was hired.”

Despite its controversial fashion choices, the popular chain managed to attract a sea of recruits.

Comedian Katherine Ryan says waiting tables for the brand in Ontario, Canada, gave her a platform to flex her comedic muscles as she took part in bikini pageants and won Miss Hooters Toronto 2004.

This year she told TV relationship guru Paul C Brunson’s We Need To Talk podcast: “Women can find empowerment in any situation, even one that objectifies them.

“Hooters was the place I found the most empowerment.”

In 2019, actress Amy Adams revealed she had worked for Hooters aged 18.

“It was a really good job because, at the time, minimum wage was $3.85 and they were willing to pay $7 to the hostesses,” she said.

“I ran around in tights and a leotard all day long anyway.”

US model Chrissy Teigen also has fond memories of her days there.

I have nightmares about that job

Naya Rivera

But sharing photos of herself in the uniform on Instagram in 2021, she pointed out: “The shorts, they have changed!!!!”

But late Glee star Naya Rivera had a different take on her time at Hooters.

“I have nightmares about that job,” she told Allure magazine in 2013.

“When I was working there, I was really skinny.

“But I was always self-conscious.”

While the first British Hooters — in Birmingham in early 1998 — was short-lived, the brand found success later that year with a franchise in Nottingham and, in 2022, a second in Liverpool.

The owners of the Nottingham outlet — which in 2009 hailed Sven- Goran Eriksson’s new Notts County director role on its sign — recently opened a new outpost, in Newcastle.

As news spread this week that the US parent company was going under, its UK franchisees insisted they were staying open — and had high hopes for the future.

Over the years, the US chain has managed to survive some serious controversy and criticism, including alleged racial profiling and discrimination against trans women when it came to hiring its all-female staff

In 2000, it paid £275,000 damages to former waitress Sara Steinhoff, for unwanted sexual advances, demeaning behaviour and recrimination from managers at the Newport, Kentucky site during the 1990s.

But while customers continued to pour in throughout the Noughties and 2010s, the rise of the #MeToo movement, plus desires for healthier food, cast it in a less flattering light.

Then the Covid lockdowns hit, devastating the restaurant industry.

By 2025, the company’s financial struggles, controversial image and declining footfall could not guarantee its future on US soil.

Insiders say Hooters of America now hopes to keep as many restaurants open as possible, with plans for some of its original owners to buy and revive the failed shops.

Meanwhile, the brand lives on in the hearts and minds of every wing and breast lover — of every variety.

Nottingham Forest 1 Man Utd 0: Anthony Elanga haunts his old club to keep up hosts’ Champions League chase

MANCHESTER United old boy Anthony Elanga zapped his former employers with a lightning goal and edged Forest a step closer to the Champions League.

United boss Ruben Amorim noted before the game how Old Trafford exiles Marcus Rashford and Antony were currently thriving on loan.

But it was another former Red Devils wideman who scored the early, only goal in a game in which the visitors did everything but score.

TNT Sports claimed Elanga, who joined Forest in the summer of 2023, had run 85 metres in nine seconds before slotting past Andre Onana in the fifth minute.

If that is true, perhaps he is in the wrong sport.

“Anthony Elanga, he left ‘cos you’re s**t,” was the gleeful song from the home fans.

But United weren’t s**t. They were the better side for most of the rest of the game, creating far more chances and keeping the home fans sweating right until the final whistle.

Diogo Dalot hit the crossbar in the first half, while Alejandro Garnacho and Mason Mount both went close in the second.

Yet Elanga’s strike proved enough to earn Nuno Espirito Santo’s side the victory and so to complete their first league double over United since 1991/2 under Brian Clough.

Now Forest need only a few more wins to guarantee that they will be competing for the Big Ears trophy that Old Big ‘Ead lifted twice.

BEST FREE BETS AND BETTING SIGN UP OFFERS

Meanwhile United are heading for their own 1970’s throwback – their worst league finish since they were relegated 31 seasons ago.

As kick off approached, the Forest fans launched into a couple of quick bursts of Que Sera in celebration of the penalty shootout win over Brighton that had earned them a trip to Wembley for an FA Cup semi final.

This game was all about securing a passport to Europe, and preferably into the top-tier competition that they won twice in the good old days.

And they scored a trademark goal inside five minutes to make the perfect start.

Cup hero goalkeeper Matz Sels’ save from Bruno Fernandes’ 20-yard shot from outside the box was a little untidy.

But Forest’s break from the resulting corner was laser-guided brilliance.

How United found themselves, after their own corner, three against two home attackers is one thing.

The way that situation became two against two was all about Elanga’s lightning speed and Morgan Gibbs-White’s lung-busting run alongside him.

You wondered if Gibbs-White was going to end up cursing his team-mate for not passing.

Yet the former United trainee used the decoy to perfection and slotted past Onana while Noussair Mazraoui and Patrick Dorgu could only look on helplessly.

With pleasing symmetry, it was the 23rd time Forest had scored first in a Premier League game this season and the 23rd in which United had conceded first.

Yet United were soon creating chances, albeit mainly from distance or corners..

The visitors, in the Forest supporters’ eyes, were also playing against referee Jarred Gillett, who was not awarding the free kicks that they felt their team deserved.

Garnacho somehow avoided a booking for a nasty foul on Ryan Yates.

Diogo Dalot hit the crossbar after another dangerous corner, and Sels was grateful that Gillett did spot a foul in the scramble that followed.

Forest failed to make the most of another couple of breaks and were otherwise pretty unthreatening going forward.

They suffered further discomfort when right back Ola Aina went off injured and Nuno made a double change to bring on a third centre back in a bid to stem the United tide.

The half ended with Onana catching a Morato header and Nikola Milenkovic making a crucial tackle on Garnacho before Casemiro fired wide.

Amorim replaced Manuel Ugarte with Rasmus Hojlund at half time and restored Fernandes to the deeper midfield role where had excelled in recent matches.

Onana had been cheekily described in the matchday programme as “capable of both the sublime and the ridiculous”. The save he made low to his left early in the second period from Yates’ header was the former.

Garnacho fired over the bar before Amorim saved Casemiro from himself, having seen the Brazilian booked for one foul on Yates and generally look like a red card waiting to happen.

Fernandes was starting to ping passes from deep. When Garnacho was ruled offside from one, he was booked for kicking the ball away.

From the next, the Argentinian collected neatly and turned inside, only for Yates and Morato to deflect the ball to safety. Yates reacted as if he had scored.

Garnacho then fired just wide and the game was right in the balance.

Next it was substitute Mount’s turn to hold his head in his hands after he, too, sent a shot just off target.

Neco Williams ended a rare Forest attack by shooting off target just before six minutes of stoppage time.

Harry Maguire, on as as centre forward, had a shot cleared off the line by Murillo at the death and United could not find the equaliser they deserved.

Stacey Solomon shows off hack she swears by to make packing for holiday much easier – & you can nab it from Ikea for £6

STACEY Solomon swears by a handy trick to keep clothes organised when travelling.

Not only this, but it makes packing for trips much easier too.

Thanks to the hanging organisers, your stuff will be transported from your case to the wardrobe in seconds, just like Stacey’s[/caption]

So if you’re lucky enough to be jetting abroad any time soon, then you’ve come to the right place and will need to check this out.

Stacey Solomon, 35, and hubby Joe Swash, 43, hit our screens tonight for the first episode of their new self-titled fly on the wall series.

During the hour-long episode, the first of the six-part series which was filmed during the summer and autumn of 2024, we saw the couple celebrate their anniversary at their £1.2 million Essex home, Pickle Cottage.

As well as this, the couple and their kids also headed on a family holiday to Turkey.

And luckily for parents overwhelmed with the thought of packing their children’s suitcases, it appears that this cleaning guru swears by a simple hack that makes packing and organising clothes much easier.

Near the end of the episode, viewers saw the family getting ready for their dinner.

In their hotel room, the TV personality looked through her wardrobes, and viewers could spot her go-to packing hack that makes family holidays a lot easier.

Showing off Joe’s mess, the Loose Women star claimed: “This is not mine, that’s Joe’s. He has a whole double wardrobe to himself that’s completely empty.

“It’s no excuse. It’s just how he likes to live.”

As Joe entered the room, alerting him to his mess, the Sort Your Life Out host claimed: “You’re not like me…this is how you like to be and this is how I like to be.”

To this, ex-Eastenders actor Joe replied: “Listen, you sort out millions of people’s lives, you declutter, you hang up people’s stuff.”

In response, the mum-of-five stressed: “I sort your life out every day without you realising. I can’t go round picking up your clothes.”

To this, Joe beamed: “Cheers mum!”, but Stacey quickly snapped back: “That’s how I feel mate.”

Everything to know about Stacey Solomon

While Joe’s stuff wasn’t unpacked and instead was overflowing out of his suitcase, on the opposite end of the spectrum, Stacey and the kids’ bits were neatly hanging up in the wardrobes behind her, in hanging storage organisers.

Despite their brief bicker, it was strikingly obvious that Stacey’s handy hack had helped her to keep her and the kids’ belongings organised, unlike Joe’s.

While Stacey didn’t confirm where she nabbed her hanging storage organisers from, if you want to give Stacey’s trick a try, you can find many similar options online.

There are plenty to choose from Amazon, Dunelm, IKEA and even Temu.

You’ll find a variety of different size options, but IKEA are currently selling a hanging clothes organiser that is strikingly similar to Stacey’s, for only £6, making it incredibly purse-friendly.

Thanks to the SKUBB Hanging Shoe Organiser, which has 16 pockets, you’ll ensure your stuff is organised neatly in your suitcase, and then transferred over to your hotel wardrobe in a matter of seconds.

Most compartmental clothing organisers are designed to be hung in wardrobes as well as easily transported in suitcases.

The ‘best packing hack ever’

But this isn’t the first time we have seen Stacey use this handy hack.

Last year, Stacey, who is practically an organisation veteran, revealed that “packing for five kids is no joke” as she showed her Instagram followers around her hectic office.

To keep her children’s outfits organised, Stacey showed off the roll-up storage bags she filled with her kid’s belongings.

“I started packing Belle’s little packer thing,” she explained in her story.

The next image showed the completed bag, which divided the toddler’s clothing into outfits for each day and night for their two-week-long trip.

Extra compartments included areas for her shoes and other accessories.

Holiday packing tips

Jemma Solomon, aka The Label Lady has got 5 packing tips to help you get organised for your next holiday.

1. Write a list

Think about all the essentials you need to take with you; suncream, medicine, a few games for the kids, beach towels, and write everything in one list, which you can tick off as you add it to your suitcase.

Or for complete ease, try Google’s AI app – Gemini – which will create a list for you and help you not over pack.

2. Involve your kids

Jemma said: “My girls are getting older, they’re 11 and nine, and they enjoy helping to pack. So I send them a list, and say ‘this is what you need’ and they follow the list.

“And then I give them a rucksack each – and say to them ‘you can have whatever you want in there as long as it’s not liquid’, and they can take that on the plane. And that’s their ‘home away from home’ items.”

3. Try a hack or two

She said: “I think they all work, but for different reasons – and you’ve just got to pick the right one for your trip.

“Rolling your clothes is really good to stop your clothes from getting creases. And if you’re trying to get a lot of items into your case, it’s a space saver.

“Packing cubes are great – for example, I’m going on holiday with my three kids and we’re all using the same suitcase for our clothes.

“These handy compartments let you separate your clothes, toiletries and tech into designated cubes, maximising luggage space by keeping your items compressed and neatly stacked.

“I love taking them abroad with the family and it means my kids can easily take charge of their own items once we’ve arrived.”

4. Decant beauty products

Do you really need to take full-size bottles of shampoo and conditioner with you? The beauty industry has evolved so much, you can now buy shampoo bars or sheets – which are much lighter and smaller.

Or, if you’ll be popping to the shops when you’re abroad, consider buying some items when you arrive.

5. Get organised before you come home

Jemma said: “When you repack on holiday [before coming home], the trick is to separate clean from dirty clothes.

“Also pack it in some form of order – so lights, darks, colours for items that need washing, or if you wash your clothes by person in the household, piles for each person.

“Then you can put it straight into the washing machine. Do it straight away, don’t leave it.”

Stacey described the item as the “best packing hack ever.”

The much-loved influencer recommended the set-up for any other busy parents packing for family holidays.

“I will never not do this now,” she told her 6.1 million Instagram followers.

Not only this, but she added: “I just get to the hotel, roll them out, and go.”

MAFS Australia fans rage as Adrian’s family ‘gang up’ on Awhina and brutally shut down her twin sister

THINGS have gone from bad to worst for Married At First Sight Australia couple Adrian and Awhina.

It all kicked off tonight between Adrian‘s twin sisters, Elita and Nikola, and his close friend Jasmin Weston, and Awhina and her twin sister Cleo – and fans are NOT happy about it.

This evening, viewers were left fuming when things kicked off during a pub lunch between the two families.

Fans accused Adrian‘s sisters and his friend of “ganging up” on Awhina, in tense scenes which aired in the latest episode of Married At First Sight.

During the conversation, the groom’s family pressed Awhina on the struggles in her relationship with Adrian.

Things took a turn when Awhina pointed out her groom’s lack of interest in finding out about her son, something which disappointed her.

Jasmin then responded sharply, and said, “You would hope so,” a remark that struck a nerve with Awhina’s sister Cleo, who interpreted it as a dig at Awhina’s parenting.

Cleo fiercely defended her sister, leading to a fiery exchange between the two families.

Adrian’s sisters and Jasmine could be seen making remarks at Awhina and laughing when she tried to defend herself.

As the argument escalated, Adrian’s family decided they’d had enough, leaving Awhina and Cleo stunned.

However, fans were on the bride’s side and they felt she was being “ganged up” on by Adrian’s family.

One person raged: “How can these sisters be so awful to Awhina!

“Why are they defending Adrian?”

While another said: “Awhina deserves better than this! Those sisters were horrid to her.”

This one added: “Adrain’s sisters and that friend are ganging up on Awhina!

“And poor Cleo! They were awful to her.”

In the wake of the dramatic moment, Awhina later revealed that Jasmin had reached out to apologise for the confrontation.

While the bride appreciated the gesture, she admitted she wished the apology had come sooner.

Adrian and Awhina have been plagued by problems ever since they got married.

When the couple first met at the alter they seemed like a match made in heaven.

However, cracks started to appear when it Awhina revealed she had a son.

During confessions week they got into a huge fight when Adrian refused to take part, leaving his bride fuming.

GROOM’S STROP

Last week Adrian was seen packing his bag and leaving his wedding ring on the counter.

It came after the couple took part in a Married At First Sight publicity shoot.

It then came to light that Adrian had thrown a strop when only some of the grooms were asked to take part in a special promo video, and he wasn’t one of them.

  • Married At First Sight Australia continues tomorrow at 7:30pm on E4.
