Young Scooter’s tragic cause of death revealed after rapper who worked with Future & Gucci Mane died on 39th birthday

RAPPER Young Scooter, who tragically died on his 39th birthday, has had his cause of death revealed.

The artist, real name Kenneth Bailey, died after he cut his right thigh on a wooden fence, which lead to “marked” blood loss, according to Fulton County Medical Examiner.

The Atlanta star was previously rumoured to have been killed by a gunshot wound.

The medical examiner for Bailey said: “This injury was not a gunshot wound.

“Mr. Bailey injured himself on organic (wooden) fencing material and/or woody debris after vaulting at least one fence.”

The large artery in the leg supplies blood to the legs and thighs, and injury to it can lead to a dangerous amount of blood loss.

The rapper was allegedly fleeing cops when he suffered a gruesome leg injury.

Watch tense moment Bradley Walsh is struck with ‘anxiety’ on 164ft high suspension bridge on ITV show

BRADLEY Walsh’s son Barney has comforted his dad in a touching moment after he was hit with an ‘anxiety attack’ 164ft in the air.

The pair were walking across a rickety and “terrifying” suspension bridge in Japan when Bradley began to panic.

The father and son duo are back for a new series of Bradley Walsh and Son: Breaking Dad[/caption]

The telly star, 64, admitted he had a fear of heights and told 27-year-old Barney he was “feeling quite sick”.

But in sweet scenes in the new series of ITV1’s Bradley Walsh and Son: Breaking Dad., Barney was seen encouraging his father as he followed close behind.

The new series of their show kicked off on ITV1 on Tuesday night.

The father and son, who present BBC One’s Gladiators together, have hit the road once again and travelled to Japan.

In the first episode, they visited the Arakawa Valley to cross a 164ft high suspension bridge.

But narrator Alexander Armstrong said: “Fifty metres above the river hangs the terrifying Canyon Walk, a 100 mere-long suspension bridge that the boys will have to cross.

“Brad will need to overcome a crippling fear of heights if he is going to make it to the other side.”

As The Chase‘s Bradley took a deep breath and stepped onto the bridge, Barney said: “Proud of you, Dad. Go on. You got it.”

But Bradley gasped: “Oh no, I can’t. I can’t.”

Looking at the camera, Barney said: “He’s really nervous, isn’t he? Bless him.”

Barney then stepped onto the bridge behind his dad and shouted: “Can you feel me on the bridge now? What are you thinking?”

But Bradley replied: “I really, really don’t like it.”

Barney told him: “I know, I know. You’re doing great.”

His son’s words of encouragement got Bradley over to the other side of the bridge.

“Oh God, oh God, I’m shaking,” Bradley said, once they were on the platform.

Barney asked if he felt “good”, to which his dad replied: “No, not really. I feel a bit sick actually.

“Just a bit… anxiety. It was anxiety, anxiety was what it was.”

Barney then broke it to Bradley that they would have to walk back over the bridge to get to their campervan.

“Oh God, here we go,” Bradley exhaled, before stepping back on the suspension bridge.

Barney told him: “Come on. One small step for man… a giant leap for Brad-kind.”

Bradley went on to express his fears that viewers of Breaking Dad would think he is a “wimp”.

But his kind son insisted: “I think they’ll be thinking, ‘How brave is Brad? For facing his fears and taking it on the chin.”

Barney then lifted the mood by joking that “any one of the slats” they were walking on could break at any moment.

Real reason Love Island’s Catherine and Omar split just weeks after leaving villa

THE REAL reason why Love Island’s Catherine Agbaje and Omar Nyame split just weeks after All Stars ended has now been revealed.

We revealed earlier today how Catherine, 24, and Omar Nyame, 26, had gone their separate ways after failing to make their romance work outside of the villa.

During their time on the show, they were a huge hit with Love island fans.

The pair finished in fourth place, beating Elma Pazar and Sammy Root on the series finale at the end of February.

But, the couple failed to make it work once the show ended and they went back to their normal lives.

The Sun can now exclusively reveal why Catherine and Omar have decided to break-up.

An insider told us: “They never reached ‘exclusive’/boyfriend-girlfriend stage so it just had run its course.”

The Sun revealed how the former couple are still following each other on Instagram, but fans noticed they hadn’t been posting together.

Omar had even stopped ‘liking’ Catherine’s most recent snaps.

However, just five weeks ago, he paid thanked to his co-star for getting him to the final.

Sharing loved up snaps, Omar wrote online: “From the deepest part of my heart I just wanna say thank you to everyone who’s supported my journey as well as Catherine’s because without her things wouldn’t be this way.

“I can’t wait to show you all more fun times ahead as we embark on this new journey in life!”

GOING ON ALL STARS

The pair first met before Love Island All Stars as they moved in the same social circles and had mutual friends in London.

Omar previously confessed to having his eye on Catherine before entering the villa, hoping to build a connection with her.

He entered as a bombshell on Day 19 and immediately took Catherine and Grace Jackson on dates.

Ultimately, he formed a stronger bond with Catherine, and they remained together until the end of the series.

Catherine and Omar haven’t been posting together[/caption]

During their time on the show, the couple had a smooth run compared to some of the other islanders, with minimal drama and strong chemistry.

They gained a loyal fan base, particularly after surviving a tense vote-off late in the competition.

Their last public appearance together was at the All Stars wrap party, where they were seen laughing and chatting with fellow finalists.

However, since then, they have kept a low profile regarding their relationship, fueling rumours of a breakup.

Neither Catherine nor Omar have publicly confirmed the split, but their distance online has left fans convinced their romance has fizzled out.

2018 – It wasn’t surprising fan favourites Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer won the show, as they were strong throughout. But sadly things didn’t last. STATUS: Broken up.

2017 – Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies had lots of ups and downs in the villa but went on to win. STATUS: Broken up.

2016Nathan Massey and Cara De La Hoyde were together from the start of the series, and since they won the show they’ve had two kids and are married. STATUS: Still together.

2015 – Despite poor Jess Hayes being Max Morley’s second choice on the show, they did win – but they didn’t last as a couple. STATUS: Broken up.

As The Beatles movie cast is revealed, three shocking episodes in band’s history that new films MUST cover

THEY are the biggest band of all time — and now the actors who will play them on the big screen have been unveiled.

The Beatles — A Four-Film Cinematic Event will explore the lives of the Fab Four in a series of interconnected movies, one from each member’s perspective.

And a year on from director Sir Sam Mendes announcing he was involved with the project, it has been revealed that Gladiator II’s Paul Mescal will portray Sir Paul McCartney, Babygirl actor Harris Dickinson is John Lennon, Stranger Things’ Joseph Quinn takes on George Harrison and Oscar-nominated Barry Keoghan bangs the drum for Sir Ringo Starr

Dressed all in black, the quartet took a bow on stage in Las Vegas on Monday night as they were introduced for the first time.

The movies, which will be released in “close proximity” in April 2028, make up the most anticipated music film series yet.

It follows a spate of Hollywood music biopics, which will see films about Michael Jackson and Bruce Springsteen out this year, hot on the heels of January’s A Complete Unknown starring Timothee Chalamet as Bob Dylan

So far, Paul, 82, has been tight-lipped about the casting, but the only other surviving Beatle, Ringo, 84, said that Keoghan would be “great”.

‘Nothing off-limits’

Online there was a mixed reaction, with some describing the line-up as “brilliant” while others complained they did not look like the band.

Director Mendes, who was behind James Bond movies Skyfall and Spectre, has been trying to make a film about the mop-topped Liverpudlian quartet for a long time.

But he said he “gave up” because there are too many important events to get into one movie.

We’re not just making one film about The Beatles — we’re making four. Perhaps this is a chance to understand them a little more deeply.

Sam Mendes, Director

However, at the official launch of his four films this week, he said: “There had to be a way to tell the epic story for a new generation.

“I can assure you there is still plenty left to explore and I think we found a way to do that.

“We’re not just making one film about The Beatles — we’re making four. Perhaps this is a chance to understand them a little more deeply.”

Formed in 1960, The Beatles released 12 studio albums over the next decade.

In November 2023, they scored a number one single with Now And Then, a 1977 John Lennon demo song that was later abandoned.

The fascination with The Beatles is as great now as it ever has been.

Documentaries and films related to the group appear in cinemas on a regular basis.

Next week, Bafta-winning director Kevin Macdonald releases One To One: John & Yoko, about the only post-Beatles full-length show by John Lennon, who was shot dead aged 40 by a crazed fan in 1980.

Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Sean Lennon and Olivia Harrison responded with such warmth and enthusiasm as soon as Sam spoke with them.

Pippa Harris, Producer

And last October, Midas Man told the story of the “fifth Beatle”, their manager Brian Epstein.

But The Beatles — A Four-Film Cinematic Event will be the first time the band’s company, Apple Corps, has approved the rights to their music in a scripted film that tells all of their life stories

The movies have been given the green light by Paul, Ringo and the families of John and George, who died aged 58 in 2001. And they are said to be giving complete artistic freedom to director Sam.

Producer Pippa Harris said: “Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Sean Lennon and Olivia Harrison responded with such warmth and enthusiasm as soon as Sam spoke with them.

“What is truly exciting is for Sam to have the freedom to delve into the lives of each of the Beatles, with nothing off-limits and no sense of the band wanting him to tell a particular ‘authorised’ version of their rise.”

In the past, Paul is said to have been protective about the way he has been portrayed in print and on film.

When author Steven Gaines published Beatles biography The Love You Make in 1983, McCartney was apparently “furious” about the revelations.

Gaines, who interviewed Paul, Ringo and George for the book, told The Times last year: “Paul and Linda tore the book apart and burned it in the fireplace, page by page.

“There was an omerta, a code of silence, around The Beatles, and they didn’t think anyone would come forward to tell the truth.”

There is certainly plenty of controversial material about the Fab Four.

Will Mendes be brave enough to delve into Lennon’s jealous rages, which included hitting women?

How much of the band’s epic drug taking — Paul used LSD and John was addicted to heroin — will make it into the movies?

One of the juiciest parts of the George and Ringo story has to be guitarist George having an affair with the drummer’s then wife Maureen.

What we do know about Mendes’ four films is that all of them will link up. And the tagline for them is: “Each man has his own story, but together they are legendary.”

Hopefully, Mendes, who brought humour back to the Daniel Craig Bond movies, will include plenty of the Fab Four’s cheeky wit.

Ringo, whose musical ability was a running joke, has never been one to take himself too seriously.

‘Slightly peeved’

When he was asked last year about rumours Saltburn actor Keoghan, 32, was going to play him, he replied: “I think it’s great.

“I believe he’s somewhere taking drum lessons — and I hope not too many.”

But Paul is unlikely to be happy about 5ft 11in Mescal, 29, playing him, while 6ft 1in Harris Dickinson plays John.

When Thomas Brodie-Sangster appeared as McCartney in 2009 movie Nowhere Boy, he looked to be shorter than Aaron Taylor-Johnson, who portrayed Lennon.

Paul said at the time: “You know what I’m slightly peeved about? My character, my actor, is shorter than John. And I don’t like that.

“I’m the same size as John, please. Put John in a trench. Or put me in platforms.”

But there is no argument the actors are all big names coming into their prime.

Mescal, who is dating singer Gracie Abrams, became a star during the pandemic on BBC series Normal People. Harris, 28, has been tipped as a possible James Bond.

Joseph Quinn, 31, will play superhero Human Torch in Marvel’s The Fantastic Four this summer.

And Barry, who was recently dating pop sensation Sabrina Carpenter, was Oscar-nominated for The Banshees Of Inisherin in 2023.

All of them will have to master the Scouse accent though, because both Paul and Barry are Irish, while Harris and Joseph are Londoners.

That puts them at a disadvantage to Liverpool actor Ian Hart, who has twice played Lennon in movies.

But neither 1991 film The Hours And Times or 1994’s Backbeat were box office hits. The biggest Beatles-related cinematic success was Yesterday in 2019 by director Danny Boyle, which earned £120million worldwide.

In the film, struggling musician Jack, played by Himesh Patel, wakes up in a world where The Beatles have been forgotten and only he can remember their songs.

McCartney, Ringo and John’s widow Yoko Ono are all said to have loved Yesterday, in which Trainspotting actor Robert Carlyle makes a cameo appearance as Lennon.

I’m excited that Sam has taken on the madness of making four movies at the same time.

Ringo Starr

But even bigger returns will be expected from the Mendes movies.

In 2019, Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody raked in close to a billion dollars, and Sir Elton John’s story Rocketman the same year earned £150million.

The glut of music-led stories can lead to losses though, with the Robbie Williams’ £85million Better Man last year only earning £12million.

Much will depend on how well audiences receive whichever of the four movies comes out first.

If they are gripped, they will surely want to see the rest.

It is a gamble, but as Ringo said last month: “I’m excited that Sam has taken on the madness of making four movies at the same time.

“My life as a lad, John’s life, Paul’s life, George’s life, it must interact in some way.

“We’ll all be there. So I’m excited to see what he does with it.”

Man Utd player ratings: Garnacho awful against Nottingham Forest as Bruno Fernandes is best of bad bunch

MANCHESTER UNITED’S woes continue after another disapointing loss to Nottingham Forest.

Forest picked up a 1-0 victory at the City Ground thanks to ex-United ace Anthony Elanga’s winner after just five minutes.

Match stats graphic showing Nottingham Forest vs Manchester United; final score 1-0. Illustration of Manchester United's average team position against Nottingham Forest.

United remain 13th in the Premier League table and look set for their worst ever Premier League finish.

That is at least what their performance at Nottingham showed as Ruben Amorim‘s men don’t show signs of really understanding the Portuguese tactician’s preferred 3-4-2-1 formation.

But who stood out for a poor United’s side? And who was the biggest disappointment?

Check out Kostas Lianos’ players ratings below and find out:

Andre Onana – 5

Can’t blame him for Nottingham Forest’s winner as Anthony Elanga’s shot was too good. Made a stunning save to deny Ryan Yates’ header without knowing the Forest ace was offside.

Leny Yoro – 5

Should have been more aware before Elanga‘s goal that came straight after a Man Utd corner-kick in which he had moved forward.

One could argue Yoro made up for it when he stopped a fine run by Elanga in the second half with an amazing and well-timed challenge to save United from a second.

Leny Yoro's Manchester United vs Nottingham Forest player statistics.

Matthijs de Ligt – 4

The centre-back was also nowhere to be seen before Elanga’s goal. No other major errors but should have done better on the rebound after Diogo Dalot’s header hit the crossbar.

Matthijs de Ligt's Manchester United vs Nottingham Forest player stats: 78 touches, 65 passes (60 accurate), 3 tackles, 7 duels won, 3 duels lost.

Noussair Mazraoui – 4

Completely hopeless during Elanga’s run that led to the goal and struggled in his defensive duties, especially in the first half. Not sure if the full-back fits in a defensive trio as part of Ruben Amorim’s 3-4-2-1 formation….

Noussair Mazraoui's player stats vs Nottingham Forest: 93 touches, 71 passes (63 accurate), 6 tackles, 8 duels won, 12 duels lost.

Diogo Dalot – 6

A strong performance down the right wing with some fine runs and good crosses. Registered United’s best chance in the first half when his header rattled Forest‘s crossbar.

Diogo Dalot's Manchester United vs Nottingham Forest player statistics.

Casemiro – 4

At fault for Elanga’s goal as there was absolutely no midfield presence during Forest’s counter.

Loads of inaccurate passes and got booked for a reckless challenge on Yates before complaining in a very unjust way. Registered three shots but didn’t cause concern for Matz Sels.

Casemiro's Manchester United vs. Nottingham Forest game stats: 55 touches, 46 passes, 0 dribbles, 1 tackle, 3 shots, 5 duels won.

Manuel Ugarte – 4

Cut a rather anonymous figure, among the guilty parties for Elanga’s goal as Man Utd’s midfield was caught sleeping. Rightly substituted at half-time.

Manuel Ugarte's Manchester United vs. Nottingham Forest game stats: 44 touches, 36 passes, 1 tackle, 0 shots, 2 duels won, 4 duels lost.

Patrick Dorgu – 5

A fine display during the first half as he cut a strong presence down the left flank, even though he was completely outran by Elanga before the goal.

But the versatile full-back was the complete opposite in the second half with a series of errors against a stunning Neco Williams.

Patrick Dorgou's Manchester United vs Nottingham Forest game stats: 82 touches, 60 passes, 1 tackle, 4 shots, 6 duels won, 2 duels lost.

Bruno Fernandes – 6

Registered the game’s first shot on target with a powerful effort that required a lunge from Sels, and that was basically United’s best shot throughout the entire match.

Fernandes produced some fine long balls and upgraded Man Utd’s midfield after Ugarte and Casemiro’s exits.

Reuters
Bruno Fernandes' player stats vs Nottingham Forest: 111 touches, 77 passes, 2 dribbles, 3 shots (2 on target).

Alejandro Garnacho – 2

Very disappointing performance from the winger. Completely hopeless before Elanga’s goal with a desperate tackle and was lucky to avoid a booking for a ridiculous challenge on Yates while the Argentina international was on the attack.

A game riddled with heavy touches, failed dribbles, wrong passes, blocked shots and a silly yellow card as he kicked the ball away in frustration. Had a good shot on 69 minutes as a saving grace.

Alejandro Garnacho's Manchester United vs. Nottingham Forest player stats: 82 touches, 52 passes, 6 shots (3 off target), 4 duels won.

Joshua Zirkzee 3

Was supposed to be a striker but was often seen playing too deep and didn’t register a chance in front of Forest’s goal. Didn’t inspire any danger even after Rasmus Hojlund came on to help him up front.

Joshua Zirkee's Manchester United vs. Nottingham Forest player stats: 30 touches, 25 passes, 0 dribbles, 0 duels won, 0 shots on target, 0 shots off target.

SUBS

Rasmus Hojlund – 5

Was much better than a woeful Zirkzee up front for Man Utd. But didn’t cause any significant danger and never looked like a goalscoring threat. Harry Maguire looked far more lethal as a false nine after he entered the pitch with a lot more presence inside the box.

Christian Eriksen – 4

Didn’t really elevate United’s midfield after Ugarte and Casemiro’s exit. The sort of performance that makes one wonder about his Old Trafford future…

Harry Maguire – 5

Only played nine minutes as a false nine and was by far Man Utd’s best forward. Brought on as a desperation move that almost paid off with the best chance of the match as his last-gasp effort was cleared by Murillo just off the line.

Mason Mount – N/A

Arsenal player ratings: Gabriel Martinelli shines against Fulham as Jakub Kiwior struggles after Gabriel injury

BUKAYO SAKA marked his return from a 101-day absence by scoring just SIX MINUTES after coming on the pitch as Arsenal waltzed to a 2-1 victory despite a late scare.

The Gunners will know their title challenge is all-but-over, however they still went about putting any remaining pressure on Liverpool with absolute professionalism against London rivals Fulham.

Mikel Merino notched another goal with a deflected finish to further prove that he’s the best option Arsenal have up top amid their attacking injury crisis.

While Saka’s headed finish gave Mikel Arteta and Arsenal fans confidence they will have some threat when they face Real Madrid in the Champions League next week.

However, the night was marred by injuries to Gabriel Magalhaes and Jurrien Timber – knocks that will be cause for concern ahead of that mammoth quarter-final on the horizon.

Here’s how SunSport’s Joshua Hall rated Arteta’s men on their return to the Emirates after the break…

David Raya – 7

Week by week Raya is staking a claim as one of the best goalkeepers in the league.

He doesn’t have to face a barrage of shots as part of this Arsenal team, but rarely falters when he is called upon.

While his distribution and preventative high claims are amongst the best around.

There was little he could have done to stop Rodrigo Muniz’s deflected goal.

Illustration of David Raya's soccer game statistics: 46 touches, 37 passes (26 accurate), 2 saves, 1 goal conceded, 0 punches.

Jurrien Timber – 6

It looked like the Dutchman’s night was going to be cut short around the half an hour mark when he went down clutching his knee.

Fortunately, he was able to play on even managed to test Bend Leno with a stinging effort in the second half.

Unfortunately his earlier knock proved too much and he was taken off with a niggle in the 75th minute.

Arsenal could now be without two starting defenders for their clash with Real Madrid.

Gabriel Magalhaes – N/A

Just when Arsenal fans thought they were creeping out of their injury crisis with the return of Bukayo Saka, they lose another top star.

Gabriel hobbled off after just 15 minutes to be replaced by Jakub Kiwior.

Arteta – and every Arsenal fan up and down the country – will be hoping the wall at the back will be fighting fit for their Champions League quarter-final first leg against Real Madrid next week.

Arsenal lost their star centre-back Gabriel early in the first half[/caption] Illustration of Gabriel Magalhães's game statistics: 14 touches, 14 minutes played, 13 passes, 0 tackles, 0 dribbles, and 0 duels won.

William Saliba – 6

Stepped up to the plate in Gabriel’s absence and looked assured both on and off the ball.

His frame did wonders to prevent Raul Jimenez from fashioning any chances in dangerous areas.

However, he wasn’t able to do enough to stop Rodrigo Muniz from batting it against him to pull a late goal back for Fulham.

Illustration of William Saliba's game statistics: 81 touches, 72 passes, 0 dribbles, 1 shot, 1 tackle, and 4 duels won.

Myles Lewis-Skelly – 7

Every time you see Lewis-Skelly play you wonder how he’s only 18 and not a seasoned pro with years of experience at the top.

He didn’t set the world alight against the Cottagers, but looked just as assured and comfortable as he always does – this time without Gabriel by his side.

While he also made an important bloke to prevent Muniz after Fulham had pulled back a late goal.

Mikel Arteta has splashed the cash to have a plethora of options at left-back, yet it seems like the Hale End academy graduate is now the number one choice for that position.

Illustration of Myles Lewis-Skelly's soccer stats: touches, crosses, passes, fouls conceded, accurate passes, and duels won, shown on a field map.

Thomas Partey – 7

Almost gifted Fulham a golden opportunity with a loose header in the first half, but saw David Raya pop up to save the day.

Despite a few loose touches he did enough to keep the ball moving in central areas.

He’s become an important starter for Arsenal this season, yet still seems to be on his way out in the summer on the expiration of his deal.

Thomas Partey's match stats: touches, passes, dribbles, shots, tackles, and duels won, shown on a heatmap of his playing position.

Declan Rice – 6

He’s not a glamorous footballer, but he’s always going to give 100 per cent no matter what.

Certainly not his worst game in an Arsenal shirt, but by no means his best.

Illustration of Declan Rice's game stats: 59 touches, 3 shots, 41 passes, 1 tackle, 0 dribbles, and 1 duel won.

Martin Odegaard – 5

Another frustrating night for the Arsenal captain who seems to have been unable to find the keys to unlock the low block his side faces each week.

The Norwegian is certainly one of the best talents in the league, but has only shown it in glimpses this season.

Arsenal as whole looked a bit laboured and lacklustre at times, often that’s a result of the way Odegaard is playing. When he ticks, the whole team does too.

Martin Odegaard has struggled to live up to the heights he set for himself last season this term[/caption] Illustration of Martin Ødegaard's match statistics: 51 touches, 37 passes, 2 shots, 1 tackle, 0 dribbles, and 3 duels won.

Gabriel Martinelli – 9

Regularly made Timothy Castagne look silly throughout the match and get into dangerous positions by the byline.

But despite fashioning plenty of opportunities, the Brazilian was – as per usual – struggling with his end product in the first half.

It almost seemed as if every shot or final pass was rushed or snatched at for the opening 45 minutes.

That changed in the second half when his delightful flick perfectly teed up Bukayo Saka for a dream return to action.

Finally looked like he had the goal to top off a spectacular performance in the dying moments, but was deemed to be marginally offside when his effort found the back of the net.

Ethan Nwaneri – 7

Bright spark in the opening exchanges and Volleyed one right down the throat of Bernd Leno in the 21st minute as he looked the most likely to find the back of the net at first.

Instead it was his cutback that helped open the scoring when he placed it onto the boot of Mikel Merino to poke home the first goal of the night.

Replaced by Saka in the second half in perhaps a foreshadowing of what might happen to his role in the squad for the remainder of the season.

Mikel Merino – 8

Merino has stepped up the role of of make-shift striker with the sort of professionalism you would want from any player in your team.

He might not make darting runs behind the back four, or curl delightful efforts round the keeper, but he’s certainly got a knack for goal.

His punt towards goal took a healthy deflection off Jorge Cuenca to send it into the corner, but he won’t care – now netting an impressive five goals in eight games as a centre-forward.

He almost made that six when he rifled another effort goalward from a corner in the 60th minute

Jakub Kiwior (for Gabriel, 15mins) – 4

Always a tough task to replace one of the best defenders in the league, but didn’t do enough to impress at all.

Sloppily gave the ball away to gift a golden opportunity to Adama Traore in the second half, but was lucky to see the shot blazed wide.

While he was partly to blame for leaving Rodrigo Muniz wide open for his wayward header on the 80th minute mark – once again saved by sloppy finishing.

With each game that passes it seems to be more obvious that the Polish international just isn’t at the required level.

Bukayo Saka (for Nwaneri, 66mins) – 8

The Emirates erupted in its loudest cheer of the night when Saka made his return to action after 21 games and 101 days on the sidelines with a hamstring injury.

That was until he nodded home the Gunners’ second just six minutes after crossing the line and an even louder roar bellowed around N5.

Arsenal have missed him dearly, and a return right before perhaps the biggest European game in the Emirates era could be crucial for Mikel Arteta’s side.

Leandro Trossard (for Timber, 77mins) – 5

Had very little impact on the match coming on so late, but did nick the ball off the foot of captain Odegaard who was lining up a thunderous effort.

“They were both absolutely wonderful human beings. Both they and their family lived life to the absolute full and were always planning or doing amazing adventures

“They were both such positive and incredible parents, friends, and members of many communities.

“We send our love and condolences to their family and friends.”

The couple’s neighbour, Paul Prestige, also spoke highly of the Brits and described them as “very friendly people”.

He added that he would have dinner parties them.

Prestige said the couple had a son who did not live with them.

It is not currently known how the pair died.

But a detective from New Zealand Police assured residents they were not at risk.

Haley Ryan said: “I want to provide assurance that there is no ongoing risk to the Roseneath community.”

Wolves 1 West Ham 0: Jorgen Strand Larsen punishes visitors just moments after Evan Ferguson misses golden chance

JORGEN Strand Larsen provided the Norse power Wolves needed to take another step towards Premier League safety.

The Norwegian striker grabbed his 10th goal of the season after 21 minutes to seal victory.

And that spells bad news for the bottom three who are now stranded at the bottom of the table.

Wolves are now a massive 12 points clear of the relegation zone – and look all but safe from the drop.

It means boss Vitor Pereira now has 20 points from his 14 games in charge.

And if his pre-match comments are anything to go by, he will be toasting three points with three beers.

Pereira has been seen around Wolverhampton pubs with fans – but he will not have to buy a drink if he keeps Wolves up.

By the end, Pereira was punching the air and whipping up the home fans.

But West Ham wasted a string of chances to come away from Molineux with at least a point.

Evan Ferguson, Jarrod Bowen, Emerson Palmieri and Tomas Soucek all wasted clear cut openings.

West Ham started the brighter and James Ward-Prowse went close with a dipping free-kick from 25 yards out.

But they wasted a clear opportunity to take the lead after 13 minutes.

Toti’s attempted clearance was blocked by Aaron Wan-Bissaka and the ball fell into the path of Bowen.

He raced into the Wolves box – but instead of taking the shot on himself, he pulled it back for Ferguson, making his first start for Graham Potter on loan from Brighton.

The Ireland international’s first Hammers goal looked certain – but the ball fell behind him and he could only drag it towards goal and into Matt Doherty’s path.

That was the wake-up call Wolves needed and a Rayan Ait-Nouri free-kick was headed on by Toti – but he was denied by a full-stretch save from keeper Alphonse Areola.

But Wolves opened the scoring through Strand Larsen.

Emmanuel Agbadou’s pass set up the chance, and when the ball fell to Strand Larsen, his shot deflected in off ex-Wolves captain Max Kilman.

That was the Norwegian forward’s third goal in two games – and provided a huge platform for Wolves’ hopes of staying up.

Wolves could have made it two – but Marshall Munetsi crashed a shot against the underside of the crossbar.

It was end to end stuff and Wan-Bissaka’s cross found Bowen in space – but he put a free header wide.

The game started to flare up – a theme that ran through the rest of the match.

Ref Tony Harrington flashed three yellow cards in a short space of time – but failed some physical treatment that left Joao Gomes in agony on the touchline.

It all contributed to the Wolves bench losing their cool – and boss Pereira was booked for dissent as the teams left the field.

Potter made three changes at the break with Ferguson, Aaron Cresswell and Luis Guilherme all taken off.

Niclas Fullkrug, Edson Alvarez and Carlos Soler replaced them.

But Hammers were frustrated for long periods and Wolves’ Jean Bellegarde curled a shot just wide from 20 yards out.

Things were boiling up on the bench by this stage and Wolves No2 was booked after an angry exchange with West Ham’s coaching staff.

But Potter’s side almost levelled it after 78 minutes when Fullkrug headed against the bar and Emerson fired the rebound into the side netting.

And West Ham squandered yet another chance to equalise with two minutes left.

Toti was again caught in possession and the ball fell to sub Soucek – but he put his shot wide from close range.
