1D star splashes £10m on huge new ‘family home’ in ‘very fancy’ neighbourhood so he can ‘live quiet life’
NIALL HORAN is one of the most low-key lads in One Direction, never happier than on a golf course or in a music studio.
But the same can’t be said of his lifestyle.

Pals told me the Slow Hands singer has splashed out almost £10million on a new home in West London, in a very fancy neighbourhood.
A source said: “Niall has bought himself a gorgeous house and now lives close to celebs like Holly Willoughby and Ant & Dec.
“He did have a very cool penthouse in London but he wanted to get somewhere a little more grown up.
“Niall’s new place is set across a number of floors and has six bedrooms, so it feels like a proper family home.
“He is really settled with his girlfriend Amelia Woolley.
“They have a dog and are just like any other couple in their 30s — bar the fact he’s got a fortune in the bank.
“They’ve been spotted a few times in the neighbourhood now but people leave Niall alone and let him just get on with his day.
“It’s lovely that someone as well known as Niall can live the quiet life he’s always wanted.”
Niall’s last studio record, The Show, went to the No1 spot when he released it in 2023.
He finished touring the album in 2024 and last month said he planned to spend the summer working on his fourth record.
Niall said in an interview with a golfing magazine: “I’m working on a new album guys.
“I’ve been accumulating some ideas and I’m going to sit down and start writing my next album.”
With a new house where he can put pen to paper, I’ve no doubt he will feel inspired.
CHARLI GREEN WITH ENVY
GREEN DAY have sent up Charli XCX after she joked about not getting a headline slot at Coachella festival.
The Brat singer wore a sash saying: “Miss should be a headliner,” after she performed at the event in California.

Green Day were the headliners and during their second set this weekend, drummer Tre Cool had his own sash with the words: “Actual headliner,” scrawled on it.
The comedy move was all in jest, with Billie Joe Armstrong closing the show in a Brat hat in honour of Charli.
She also loved the stunt and re-shared the picture on X with the caption: “Obsessed.”
NATALIE IN LABEL SPLIT
THE music industry is a tough place and a raft of artists have found that out the hard way after splitting from their record labels.
I’ve learned that Torn singer Natalie Imbruglia, former Strictly contestant HRVY and rapper Stefflon Don have all walked away from deals with their label BMG.

The company had a run of success with Kylie Minogue’s return to form and have also been working with Rita Ora.
But I’m told a string of acts have now deserted them.
Natalie released Firebird, her first album in six years, on the label in 2021 but no longer appears on its website.
The same year, HRVY, above, signed a global recording deal with the company following his stint on Strictly.
But he is now going it alone and is releasing music himself.
Stefflon, above, put her long-anticipated album Island 54 out through the label in June but she has now also severed ties with BMG.
I can also reveal that Mark Owen is no longer involved with them, after signing what they called a “brand-new wide-ranging global deal” which “spans from new recordings to the publishing of his future solo works and songs written with Take That” in 2022.
Sources close to him insist it was only a one-record deal for his album Land Of Dreams that year, which peaked at No5.
But after Gary Barlow told me earlier this month that Take That are working on new music, there’s no time for more solo tunes anyway.
TULISA’S DAPPY EASTER
TULISA staged a mini N-Dubz reunion after meeting Dappy during a night out.
The singer looked cool in an over-sized biker jacket as she hit the town in Manchester with her mates on Easter Sunday.

Tulisa partied until the early hours of yesterday with Dappy in a nightclub and shared a video of them dancing together just after 1am.
N-Dubz, which also includes rapper Fazer, released their fourth album Timeless in 2023 following an 11-year break.
The record got to No6 in the charts but given thousands of fans, myself included, turned out to watch them on their Back To The Future arena tour, it’s obvious they’ve still got a loyal following who are keen to see more from them.
SPOOKS AT ENDER MY BED
FORMER EastEnders actor John Altman thinks he was haunted by the ghosts of two Edwardian children when he lived in London.
John, who played “Nasty” Nick Cotton in the BBC soap from 1985 to 2015, said: “I lived in a bedsit in Maida Vale in the 1970s and I woke up in the night.

“Standing at the end of the mattress on the floor – that was the fashion back in the Seventies – was a boy and a girl dressed in Edwardian clothing.
“I blinked and then they just disappeared.
“This building in Maida Vale was quite old, probably over 100 years old, it would have covered that Edwardian period.
“I’ll never forget that.
“It was a strong image that will always be implanted on my memory.”
I think it’s more likely that two fellow residents got lost and ended up wandering into John’s room by mistake.
But given John is appearing in the new horror film The Last Grail Hunter, it all makes for good publicity…
FENCING GERI THE SLICE GIRL
GERI HORNER tells me she has taken up fencing to get into the mood for her new book.
At a talk to promote her latest children’s novel, Rosie Frost: Ice On Fire, the former Spice Girls singer said she had a go at the sport because she wanted to know how it really felt to hold a sword.

She said: “I actually did fencing lessons because there are two scenes in it where she is fencing and I thought, ‘I’ve got no idea how to carry this’.
“I got this man to teach me because I thought, ‘How can I describe that authentically if I don’t know how to do it?’.”
The plot for Geri’s new book also includes mutant animals and even a black hole.
I’m surprised she didn’t attempt to blag her way on to Jeff Bezos’ rocket with Katy Perry so she could try to get closer to one.
A NIGHT TO REMEMBER
EUROVISION is just over three weeks away and our girls – Remember Monday – are ready for action.
The trio, Lauren Byrne, Holly-Anne Hull and Charlotte Steelend, performed their final pre-contest show in Madrid over the weekend.

Sharing pictures from the gig, they said: “Madrid, you made us feel so loved, and so special.
“We are so grateful for the support.”
They will perform their song, What The Hell Just Happened, at Eurovision in Switzerland on May 17.
I hope they’re not asking that question once the voting starts.
Bizbit
ORITSE WILLIAMS felt forced to change the way he sang to fit in with his JLS bandmates, after a record producer told him his voice was “too black”.
He said: “I’m in this commercial pop group, and I’m struggling with the fact that I’m also very different from the rest of my group members, vocally and musically.
“I had to learn to strip a lot of the colours of my voice. I had to try and bring my voice to be as streamlined as possible.
“What I did, essentially, was sing through my nose in order to reach that.”
SAM BIG ON SMALL
SAM FENDER might be used to selling out stadiums as one of our country’s best rock stars.
But over in the US, the Seventeen Going Under singer said he was loving playing intimate venues.

Sam said: “It’s humbling.
“I love the smaller shows.
“We did a show in Portland the other day and that was one of the best gigs I’ve played in a long time.
“It felt compact.
“It was really loud, like super-loud.
“It’s nice to go back down a bit, you know?
“You kind of lose stuff, I think, when it gets massive.”

Burnley pitch invasion marred by unsavoury scenes as Sheffield United star Hamza Choudhury is held back by security
BURNLEY’S promotion celebrations were marred by shocking scenes involving Sheffield United ace Hamza Choudhury.
Scott Parker’s side beat the Blades 2-1 at Turf Moor tonight as the Clarets and Leeds booked their place in the Premier League next season.

There were huge celebrations at full-time as Burnley fans stormed the pitch to party alongside their players.
But things have been overshadowed by unsavoury scenes involving Choudhury.
The man on loan from Leicester was fuming and had to be held back from someone by security.
He was pushed down the tunnel by a member of staff as he desperately tried to break free.

Incredible photo shows wild chimps sharing boozy fruit for first time
WILD chimpanzees have been pictured sharing fermented fruit containing alcohol for the first time.
And researchers say it may give clues to how humans first used booze to help social bonding.

Scientists set up motion-activated cameras in a West African national park and recorded footage of chimps sharing fermented breadfruit on ten separate occasions.
The team said the findings raised questions about whether and why chimps seek out alcohol.
Anna Bowland, of Exeter University, said: “For humans, we know drinking alcohol leads to a release of dopamine and endorphins, and resulting feelings of happiness and relaxation.
“We also know sharing alcohol helps to form and strengthen social bonds.
“So the question is, could chimpanzees be getting similar benefits?”
Fruit shared by the chimps was tested for alcohol content and the highest level was 0.61 per cent.
But as fruit is up to 85 per cent of their diet, these low levels could add up.
The team stressed the chimps are unlikely to get “out of their tree” as being drunk puts them at risk.
But Dr Kimberley Hockings said: “Chimps don’t share food all the time, so this behaviour with fermented fruit might be important.”

Ashley Roberts squeezes into a skin tight latex dress in sizzling bank holiday snaps
ASHLEY Roberts looked sensational as she squeezed into a skintight latex dress for the bank holiday.
The Pussycat Dolls songstress, 43, put on a sizzling display as she glammed up in the burgundy figure-hugging outfit.

Ashley showed off her toned figure in the strapless number for an appearance on Celebrity Big Brother‘s Late and Live.
She was joined by presenter AJ Odudu and former CBB icon Tiffany Pollard on the panel.
The pop star took to social media and shared snaps after her time on the ITV show
Ashley was seen grabbing her boobs playfully in the cheeky snap.
She also posted a sexy full length photo of her complete with black strappy heels and her hair styled in a chic curly updo.
Ashley is known for putting on a jawdropping display.
Back in January Ashley stripped down to a leopard print bikini on holiday.
The US star sent temperatures soaring on the beach in the tiny two-piece while topping up her tan.
In one shot she matched her swimwear with her cover-up, while in another she could be seen frolicking in the sea.
The saucy snaps were enough to get her fans hot under the collar, and they immediately flooded her Instagram post with comments.
Ashley was joined on her holiday by her boyfriend George, 25.
The couple have been together for just over a year, and are happier than ever.
Despite her man being 17 years her junior, a source told MailOnline the pair were “smitten” with each other.
“They have chosen to keep their relationship private for now but gradually have started sharing snippets from their life together on social media,” the source said.
“George is extremely successful in his own right, creating artwork for massive names and establishing himself in his craft from a young age.
“Ashley isn’t at all bothered about their age difference… they have similar interests, and he has inspired her creatively, she hasn’t felt this way in a long time.”
This is her first major relationship since her split from former Strictly Come Dancing star Giovanni Pernice in 2020.
Meanwhile, Ashley is well known for flaunting her incredible body, and previously opened up about how she felt “more connected” to her body after turning 40.
The Real Dirty Dancing host said: “As you get older you start giving less f***s. You are more connected to yourself and wiser.
“I feel excited about the years to come because I feel better than how I felt in my twenties. Part of how I express my femininity is feeling sexy.
“It makes me sad to think about women not allowing themselves to feel that as we continue on.
“I’m like, ‘Let’s get our sassy, fierce, feminine sides out there. Let’s embrace that part of ourselves.’
“It doesn’t stop with age, right? I mean, we’ve all seen Jennifer Lopez at 52…”

Shocking moment raging BULL crashes into children at Easter festival after bursting through barrier
THIS is the shocking moment a raging bull ploughed into a crowd of children during an Easter festival in Spain.
The terrifying attack was caught on camera at the ancient Toro del Aleluya festival in Arcos de la Frontera, Cadiz province.

During the festival celebrations four Hallelujah Bulls are released to run through the town’s streets.
But instead of killing the bulls at the end of the run, they are returned to their farms to represent Christ’s mercy.
The first bull to be released was Infinito – weighing more than half a tonne.
Nail-biting footage shows Infinito immediately make a beeline for a nearby safety barrier and charge straight into the horrified crowd.
Children – who had been brought to the front of the crowd for a better view of the festivities – can be seen being tossed to the ground and trampled on by the beast.
One woman filming the gruesome spectacle from her balcony can be heard screaming: “The children, the children!”
More than 20 spectators were trampled by the bull while more were crushed against barriers and hundreds tried to flee.
Infinito finally returned to the parade route after one brave amateur matador with a pink cape led it away.
Three people are said to have needed medical treatment for crush injuries and goring, including a 60-year-old woman.
But City mayor Miguel Rodriguez insisted that safety measures at the event had not been below standard.
Rodriguez said: “It’s not normal for this to happen, but in any bullring, boards can break or unforeseen events can occur.”
This comes after a 20-year-old man was gored to death during a bull-running festival back in September.
The man had been taking part in a traditional bull run in Guadalajara, central Spain.
He sustained injuries to his lung after being gored, and was rushed to hospital.
He was initially taken to an intensive unit at the University Hospital of Guadalajara but was later transferred to the capital.
The unnamed victim sadly died at La Paz University Hospital in Madrid.
Another man, 51, died at the end of August in a bull run event held in nearby Mesones when he slipped on a fence while trying to escape from the bulls.

Popular US-style fast food chain that rivals McDonald’s to open 10 new restaurants a YEAR in UK
A POPULAR US-style smokehouse chain that’s fast becoming a rival to McDonald’s is planning to open 10 new restaurants a year across Britain.
Hickory’s Smokehouse, which already has a buzzing new branch in Milton Keynes, is firing up big plans to expand across the UK.

The chain, founded in Chester in 2010, has been growing rapidly ever since pub giant Greene King bought it in 2022.
Bosses say they see a “huge opportunity” to open more sites, even with the rising costs and economic pressures hitting the hospitality sector.
While many businesses are struggling, Hickory’s says its sales have stayed “strong” thanks to heavy investment and a focus on quality.
In 2024 alone, Hickory’s opened six new restaurants, bringing the total to 26, and there’s no sign of slowing down.
A £25million cash boost from Greene King has helped fuel the rapid expansion, with even more to come.
Excited fans in Milton Keynes were quick to praise the newest opening, with one diner raving online: “Wow, it’s finally open and what a great location with free parking – the food was amazing!”
Greene King and Hickory’s plan to keep the pace up by opening 10 new restaurants every year until at least 2027.
They hope to triple the size of the chain by 2030, including converting some existing Greene King pubs into smokehouses.
John Welsh, managing director of Hickory’s, said the company’s focus on customer experience is keeping it strong even in a tough market.
“I don’t think we’ve had a single year without big challenges,” he said.
“But we’re seeing strong performance because we stay focused on giving customers a brilliant experience.”
The expansion drive will see another £10million invested this year alone.
This includes a £1million revamp of the original Hickory’s in Chester, where it all began.
Greene King CEO Nick Mackenzie said Hickory’s was proving to be a winning formula.
“Hickory’s is a fantastic brand and its success proves there’s a real appetite for its smokehouse experience,” he said.
“At a time when the sector is under pressure, Hickory’s shows how strong investment and brilliant guest service can deliver real growth.”
He added: “We’re excited to build on this success and grow Hickory’s into a truly national brand.”

EFL club once sponsored by Tyson Fury relegated to non-league after 18 years as Gary Neville’s Salford deal final blow
TYSON FURY’S beloved Morecambe have officially been relegated from League Two.
The Shrimps lost 3-1 to Salford City at the Globe Arena to confirm their drop to non-league football after 18 years.

That result basically brings an end to a sorry season for Derek Adams’ side, who struggled both on and off the pitch.
Earlier in the campaign, the cash-strapped team’s board collided with the ownership group.
This term was blighted by financial problems as Morecambe were placed under a transfer embargo due to the non-payment of a VAT bill – the matter was ultimately settled with HMRC.
The cub has been up for sale since September 2022 and it was around that time when Fury, 36, got involved.
The Gypsy King partnered up with the club after they struck a sponsorship deal three years ago.
The heavyweight’s ‘Gypsy King’ brand was embroidered on Morecambe’s home and away shorts for the 2022-23 season.
The former world champion even claimed that same year that he was considering buying the club.
Fury told talkSPORT at the time: “I’m thinking about buying Morecambe Football Club, they’re in League One at the moment.

“So I was thinking I invest X amount of millions in them. Basically throw it at them and keep them going up.
“I’ve been offered to buy Morecambe Football Club. I own all the training facilities anyway and the training gym.
“So who knows? You might be looking at a football club owner.”
But it wasn’t meant to be as Morecambe – currently bottom of table in the fourth division – couldn’t avoid relegation.
And it was Salford – co-owned by Fury’s fellow celebrities in Manchester United legends Gary Neville, Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs, Phil Neville and Nick Butt – who landed the killer blow.
The Ammies are currently ninth in League Two with only two points separating them from the play-off spots.
West Brom SACK Tony Mowbray after shambolic end-of-season collapse ex-Premier League star, 38, becomes interim manager
WEST BROM have sacked Tony Mowbray just two games from the end of the season after a disastrous run of results.
The 61-year-old’s second spell in charge at the Hawthorns has lasted just three months.

Mowbray re-joined West Brom in January, 16 years after first leaving the club as boss Carlos Coberan quit for Valencia.
But the veteran manager, who battled bowel cancer last year, has had a nightmare time back at the Baggies, overseeing just five wins in 17 matches.
Poor form with just one victory from their last eight games has seen West Brom fall out of the play-off positions to tenth.
And a 3-1 home defeat to relegation-threatened Derby proved to be the final straw for Mowbray.
A club statement read: “West Bromwich Albion have today parted company with head coach Tony Mowbray.
“Assistant head coach Mark Venus has also departed the club.
“The club would like to place on record its thanks to Tony and Mark for their efforts – but has made the decision to part company following a series of poor results.
“Tony and Mark will forever be welcome at The Hawthorns and their contributions to the club winning the 2007/08 Championship title will never be forgotten.

“Everyone at Albion wishes Tony and Mark all the very best in the future.”
Former West Brom star James Morrison will take over until the end of the season.
He will be assisted by Damia Abella and ex-Baggies keeper Boaz Myhill.
Morrison, 38, played 341 times for the club as a player and has been coaching at the club since retiring.
