Kate Moss splits from teetotal Nikolai Von Bismarck after 9 years as supermodel declares she wants ‘to have some fun’

KATE Moss has split from aristocrat boyfriend Count Nikolai von Bismarck after nine years together.

Pals say the fun-loving supermodel, who turned 50 this year, has moved out of the London home she shared with the 37-year-old teetotal photographer.

Meanwhile, Nikolai, who shares his family name with the legendary World War Two German battleship, wants a “quieter life”.

A source said: “Kate and Nikolai have been on and off for months, and eventually Kate felt the time was right to move on and cut ties.

“She felt they were going on different journeys in life. And, at 50, Kate feels fabulous and like she wants to get back out there and have some fun in time for Christmas.

“Despite being 13 years her junior, Nikolai wants to enjoy a quieter life. He remains on his sober path and they just have increasingly different hobbies and wants.

“Her pals have been rallying around her, and are super supportive.

“Obviously it’s a bit awkward because they move in similar social circles and he is the son of her great family friend Debbie von Bismarck.

“But she and Nikolai remain on friendly terms, and are both adamant there won’t be any tension or hostility.”

Pals say Kate has moved out of the couple’s London home.

They were family friends for four years before getting together in 2015.

Harrow-educated Nikolai was rumoured to have dated Princess Beatrice.

He is a great-great-grandson of 19th-century German Chancellor Otto, Prince of Bismarck.

Giant World War Two battleship The Bismarck was named after him. It was sunk by the Royal Navy off France in 1941.

Nikolia went sober in 2017 and Kate — once dubbed Late Moss by pals because of her love of all-nighters — gave up booze a year later. Two years ago she launched her own wellness range Cosmoss.

In January they celebrated Kate’s 50th in Paris despite previous reports they were no longer dating.

In recent months, Kate has been seen enjoying nights out while Nikolai has said he enjoys “being out of the limelight”.

In May, it was revealed that Kate had struck up a close friendship with singer Skip Marley, grandson of late reggae legend Bob.

The pair were snapped holding hands after a performance at the MedBodrum festival in Turkey.

Meanwhile, Nikolai was linked to French-American model and actress Camille Rowe, an ex of Harry Styles.

However, pals later suggested Kate and Nikolai had a “bohemian” relationship and were still together.

Some friends believe Kate Moss has never got over a three-year relationship with Johnny Depp, which ended in 1997.

She also famously dated Babyshambles wildman Pete Doherty, before marrying The Kills frontman Jamie Hince in 2011. They divorced four years later.

She has a model daughter, Lila, from her relationship with publisher Jefferson Hack, in 2002.

KATE led a Hollywood lifestyle with heart-throb Depp from 1994 to 1997.

Things got off to a tempestuous start when Depp trashed a New York hotel room after a pal was said to have “screwed” him over.

Depp caused £8,000 damage in the rampage while Kate slept.

Their daughter, Lila Grace, was born in 2002, but her parents split in 2004.

Reports suggest the pair continued to spend time with Lila Grace, who also chose a fashion career.

She and Pete split, reunited, went to rehab together, got engaged, then parted for good in July 2007.

They divorced in 2016.

RB Leipzig 2 Aston Villa 3: Barkley’s deflected strike gives Villans huge Champions League automatic qualifying boost

ASTON VILLA finally managed to grab the Red Bull by the horns as super sub Ross Barkley snatched a dramatic late win in Leipzig.

Villa inspirational sub was only on the park for two minutes when he crashed home a shot which took a wicked deflection off Lukas Klostermann to leave Peter Gulacsi stranded.

Villa rode their luck at times and led Leipzig twice – only to let them back in twice.

But Barkley’s winner proved just too much for the home side to recover from as Villa stormed into the top eight of the Champions League.

If Carlsberg did starts to a football match they would have hand-picked this one for Villa.

Unai Emery‘s men were in dreamland when skipper John McGinn fired them in front with just two minutes and 33 seconds on the clock.

Matty Cash, standing in for the injured Leon Bailey wide on the right – picked out Ollie Watkins with a deep cross to the back stick.

The England striker rose on his own and cushioned an inviting header into the path of McGinn who accepted the gift with glee.

The Scot expertly tucked the ball away with his less favoured right foot from nine yards to stun the hosts.

Only Peter Withe against Vitoria Guimaraes and Spartak Moscow, both in 1983, had managed to score quicker goals for Villa in Europe.

BEST FREE BET SIGN UP OFFERS FOR UK BOOKMAKERS

The big stage certainly brings out the best in McGinn.

He scored his last goal for Villa in this competition against Bologna.

And he also overtook Scottish scoring legend Ally McCoist when he scored on his last two international outings against Croatia and Poland.

At that point Villa looked in cruise control.

Watkins was a fraction away from getting on the end of a Lucas Digne delivery which flashed across the face of goal.

Then Youri Tielemans and McGinn worked a short corner which ended with the Scot blazing his shot high and wide.

Tielemans was next to try his luck when he screwed his shot wide after good build-up play by McGinn, Digne and Watkins.

We all sat and waited for the next goal.

What we never expected was that RB Leipzig would score it!

Yet somehow after 27 minutes Leipzig struck as Villa undid all their previous good work.

Once again Villa’s Kamikaze defending reared its ugly head again in Europe.

The last time they were on their travels, Tyrone Mings committed football hari-kari, picking the ball up in his own box to hand Brugge a soft penalty and three points.

This time it was Emi Martinez and Diego Carlos‘s turn to hang their heads in shame.

Nicolas Seiwald’s hopeful punt forward should have been bread and butter for the World’s No.1 goalie and an experienced defender like Carlos to deal with.

Martinez actually started to come but then had second thoughts as he realised the ball was going to bounce just outside his penalty area.

So he slammed the brakes on and left Carlos to deal with the danger – only the Brazilian didn’t!

As Villa’s pair played pass the buck and dithered, Lois Openda cashed in.

He nipped in to nick the ball around Martinez and roll the ball into the unguarded net to notch a dramatic equaliser.

Stung, Villa surged back onto the front foot.

Matty Cash raced onto a Morgan Rogers through ball but Peter Gulacsi beat his shot away for a corner.

Villa thought they had regained the lead when McGinn sent Watkins clear and the striker calmly drilled the ball through Gulacsi’s legs.

But Villa’s joy was short-lived as the flag went up for offside and VAR agreed Watkins had just strayed a fraction off.

It was to be the striker’s last act as he went off at the break holding his thigh and was replaced by Jhon Duran.

The Colombian’s first involvement was to drill a low shot wide but boy did he make his second contribution count!

Emi Martinez set the ball rolling with a quick throw out to Youri Tielemans and Villa passed through Leipzig before the ball was worked to Duran, 45 yards from goal.

The big striker strode forward and unleashed an absolute peach of a left footer which ripped into the net, directly above Gulacsi’s head as he was caught slightly off his line.

It was a sensational finish on a par with his stunning winner against Bayern Munich.

Confidence soaring, Duran thought he had killed off Leipzig six minutes later.

Matty Cash broke down the right and delivered a perfect centre which Duran strode onto and slotted into the net from six yards.

However his celebrations were cut short by VAR who spotted Cash had strayed a fraction offside when he gathered the ball.

Incredibly Leipzig used that let-off to inspire them to equalise again!

Openda picked out Cristoph Baumgartner at the back post and his cushioned volley flew over Martinez to find the top corner of Villa’s net.

It was another spectacular finish which left Emery scratching his head at how his side had let another lead slip.

But it was almost worse when Pau Torres presented Lois Openda with a gift in front of goal, only for Martinez to bail him out with a crucial save.

Union threatens strike claiming government-backed pay rise is ‘barely above cost of living’

A UNION threatened industrial action last night, deeming a government-backed pay rise to be “barely above the cost of living”.

Unison was angered by ministers pushing for an increase limited to 2.8 per cent for public sector workers such as nurses, teachers and civil servants.

No additional funding will be made available to departments for the pay awards set for next year, the Cabinet Office said.

However, Unison, which represents 1.3million workers, said the proposed rise was not enough.

It also said the failure to tackle outdated pay structures meant there could be more strike action.

The union said: “Staff are crucial in turning around the fortunes of the NHS.

“Improving performance is a key government pledge, but the pay rise proposed is barely above the cost of living.”

The Unite union last night said that 200,000 NHS workers would be paid below the real living wage rate of £12.60 an hour if it was accepted.

Health Secretary Wes Streeting had called the sum a “reasonable amount”.

Meanwhile, the National Education Union said: “The Government must fully fund the pay increases that are desperately needed to value, recruit and retain teachers and school leaders.”

The Department for Education said that the increase would “maintain the competitiveness of teachers’ pay”.

Towie star Junaid reveals future on show after quit rumours and ‘most explosive Christmas episode ever’

THE Only Way is Essex star Junaid Ahmed had clarified his future on the show amid rumours he looked set to quit the reality show for good.

The TV star has been the centre of the drama on the hit ITVBe reality programme since joining.

The pair have braced fans for explosive scenes

As well as his controversial union with boyfriend Joe Blackman, Junaid has found himself locked in a slew of heated rows which have resulted in him refusing to speak to certain co-stars.

It led to speculation that he could be set to leave the programme for good amid the feuds but in an exclusive interview with The Sun, Junaid has clarified that could not be further from the truth.

Speaking to us at Tulley’s Christmas Light Festival, the reality star revealed he would not be going anywhere and would be heading out to Bali soon to begin the filming of the next series of the show.

Junaid told us: “I have heard a lot of rumours that I am planning to leave the show – let me tell you one thing, I am not going anywhere!

“As much as my cast members probably want me too!

“I think people would probably be happy if I did leave but I am not leaving TOWIE anytime soon, I literally love the show.”

Junaid was joined by his partner Joe as he spoke to The Sun as they gushed over how being part of the programme had “changed their lives” after bringing them to one another.

But ahead of a new series, the action appears to have shown no signs of slowing down with the loved-up couple teasing the upcoming Essexmas special as the most “explosive” ever.

Junaid told The Sun: “I would sit there and say it is probably the most explosive Christmas special that TOWIE has ever, ever had.”

Joe chipped in to add: “I’ve never experienced anything like it.”

Junaid added that the scenes, which feature all of this year’s cast members around one table, would be “jaw-dropping” as he confessed: “It was a recipe for a disaster.”

One of those cast members that the star is likely to clash with is his former close friend, Dani Imbert.

An explosive row between Junaid and Dani wrecked their friendship with Dani recently admitting that it seemed unlikely that there would be anyway back for the pair after recent attempts to rectify their friendship fell flat.

“We have spoke, but it wasn’t resolved,” Dani said.

“It wasn’t heated and it wasn’t a massive argument but we’ve realised we are two different people.”

Last month, we told how the former pals had ‘snubbed’ each other after the show’s explosive Christmas special.

Filming for the festive episode, which airs this month, took place in November.

Astonishing ‘new aristocracy’ of couples, relatives and nepo-babies run Labour Government, The Sun reveals

Card house of politicians.

AN astonishing “new aristocracy” of couples, relatives and nepo-babies runs the Government.

More than two dozen ministers including Rachel Reeves, Pat McFadden and Wes Streeting all have spouses or relatives on the taxpayer or Labour Party payroll, analysis shows.

Prime Minister Keir Starmer speaking at Prime Minister's Questions in the House of Commons.
PA
Sir Keir Starmer’s Government is littered with husband and wife politicians, sisters in top roles and the offspring of Labour powerbrokers[/caption]

Sir Keir Starmer’s Government is littered with husband and wife politicians, sisters in top roles and the offspring of Labour powerbrokers.

Seven members of the Cabinet, including the Defence and Business Secretary, are related to either another minister, a Labour-appointed special adviser or a civil servant.

The Government finally published their first set of transparency returns yesterday outlining any potential conflicts of interest around the Cabinet table and across Whitehall.

And it showed an unprecedented 28 ministers are related to each other, married to other Labour politicians or have their partner also on the public purse.

Under Rishi Sunak’s Tories, that figure was 11.

Chancellor Ms Reeves’ husband is a powerful Whitehall mandarin, while Cabinet Office boss Pat McFadden’s wife was appointed by Sir Keir as a political aide.

Ms Reeves’ MP sister Ellie now attends Cabinet, while Ellie’s husband John Cryer is a Labour minister in the House of Lords.

Health Secretary Mr Streeting’s partner is paid by Labour as a spin doctor, while minister Georgia Gould’s husband is an adviser to Pensions Secretary Liz Kendall.

Ms Gould is considered Labour royalty, as her father Philip was the architect of New Labour and her mother serves as a Labour peer.

Transport Secretary Heidi Alexander’s husband is a senior figure at media regulator Ofcom.

The lower ranks are also heaving with ministers whose partners and family also serve Labour or the taxpayer.

Foreign Office minister Hamish Falconer’s father is a Labour peer, while fellow minister Baroness Chapman’s husband Nick Smith is a Labour MP.

The Eagle sisters, Angela and Maria, serve Home Office and Defence Ministers respectively.

Meanwhile, Treasury Minister Lord Livermore’s partner Seb Dance is London Mayor Sadiq Khan’s deputy.

Fellow peer Baroness Smith, who serves as Advocate General of Scotland, is the youngest daughter of the former Labour leader John Smith and her mother is also a Labour peer.

And Baroness Blake, who is a whip in the House of Lords, has a daughter, Olivia, who was elected as a Labour MP in July.

Housing minister Alex Norris’s wife Emma Foody was elected for Labour in July.

How Labour Party bigwigs are connected

And fellow newbie MP Imogen Walker — the Chancellor’s Commons aide — is married to Sir Keir’s Chief of Staff Morgan McSweeney.

He ousted former Chief of Staff Sue Gray, whose son Liam Conlon was elected to Parliament this year as a Labour member.

Last night Shadow Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster Alex Burghart said: “Here’s Labour’s new aristocracy laid bare — it’s all who you know or are related to.”

A Labour insider said: “People tend to get into Labour politics quite young, and then spend their time hanging out with their Labour comrades so often that it makes sense to marry one.

“For others, the parental or spouse connections can help them get a foot in the door or a leap up the ladder.”

A Downing Street spokesman said: “To rebuild Britain and deliver the change our country needs will require talent, expertise and creativity. We won’t hesitate to make sure the right people are around the table.”

  • THE new ministerial register of interests also revealed Energy Minister Kerry McCarthy has donated to Greenpeace — whose controversial tactics have included scaling the roof of Mr Sunak’s family home last year.

Do they really pass sniff test?

By Harry Cole

CAN you imagine the howls of fury from Labour if those evil Tories had hired their mothers, brothers, lovers and come-all-ye-others into plum roles in the Government?

It’s remarkable just how much of Sir Keir Starmer’s frontbench seems to be related to, married to, or descended from another Labour figure of note.

And it’s fascinating how many Labour households are getting a double-dipping from the public purse as a result.

They insist that it’s the best man or woman that has got the job but does that really pass the sniff test?

Can they really say that every single member of this so-called “new aristocracy” got where they are on merit alone?

I turned my teen side hustle into an £8 million fortune aged 27 – here’s my top free tip & 5 expensive mistakes to avoid

SHE may be just 27 but Grace Beverley has a net worth of over £8million thanks to her multiple businesses.

But now the Tala and Shreddy founder, who started doing side hustles as a teenager, has opened up about the errors she has made along the way.

Grace Beverley, an Oxford student who left law to become an Instagram star, in athletic wear.

Advice on avoiding overspending on influencers.
She advised to avoid pricey influencers
Instagram

In a transparent post, the CEO revealed some ways that she wasted money as a young entrepreneur, to help other people keen to start their own businesses.

In addition to her businesses, she has also launched a book and podcast – both called Working Hard, Hardly Working, and was featured on the Forbes 30 under 30 Europe list in 2020.

Expensive influencers

However, she admitted that she spent too much on social media stars at the beginning.

In a TikTok video, she explained: “I shouldn’t have spent so much money on influencers – until you’re established, work with 80 per cent ‘converting’ influencers and MAX 20 per cent ‘brand building’ (cool) influencers.

“Converting influencers will actually drive sales rather than just add brand value (which is so important but not as important as staying afloat early on). “Ask to see their affiliate link data before going ahead to ensure they can actually sell!

“Tbh I would avoid using influencers altogether until a few launches in and focus on gifting instead.”

‘Done’ is best

Her next tip was to not spend so much money sampling products before releasing them, and advised “done is better than perfect.”

She said you can get feedback from people after you have launched which you will learn “so much” from.

‘Vanity project’ influencer events

Grace said that she held events “WAY too early” to be necessary.

She explained: “Events are a vanity project and good for building ‘brand’, but you can’t afford to focus on truly building brand until you have some cash.

“So skip the events and put that money into ad spend until you have stronger cash flow.”

Events with purpose

The businesswoman said you should only invite influencers who convert and give them a discount code to walk away with for their followers.

She added that events should be able educating them on the brand and not just getting a “meaningless tag” on Instagram.

Social media reliance

Grace said she should have avoided relying so much on social media and instead focused more on email marketing.

She explained: “Automated email marketing will make you money IN YOUR SLEEP

“You will have customers come to your site, add something to their basket and then get distracted before checking out; automated CRM flows will remind that customer via email that they left something in their basket.

“So many other flows too.

“Think how many people you follow on ig and tt whose posts you never see – email is far far more effective and relies less on algorithms.”

Get names early

Another tip she had for new businesses is to secure all social media handles as soon as you know the name.

Grace Beverley's seven-figure millionaire brand

RUNNING your own company is a monumental feat, but Grace Beverley has multiple on the go.

The entrepreneur has a net worth of a whopping £8million.

Shreddy

Thanks to her loyal fan base following her fitness videos, Grace launched an app while at university.

The fitness app Shreddy is filled with recipes, workouts, and a built-in community.

Tala

Grace added to her empire by creating a sustainable activewear brand, which she started in 2019 at 22.

In its first year, she made £6million in sales.

In 2022, she received £4.5million in investment to expand the business, and it now has 469,000 followers on Instagram

The Productivity Method

Skilled at time management, Grace started another hustle, selling planners.

Her business flogs physical planners for £36, while her digital planners rise to £42.

The website states: “Quite simply, we got fed up with planners that ask us how many sh**s we’ve had a day while not actually helping us to improve our productivity… so we set out to make productivity tools that *actually*, *genuinely* work!”

Book

On top of all this, Grace launched a book called Working Hard, Hardly Working in 2022.

It “offers a fresh take on how to create your own balance, be more productive and feel fulfilled.”

Grace’s book has proved to be a huge success and is a Sunday Times bestseller.

Grace launched Shreddy, a fitness app while studying at the University of Oxford.

Speaking to CEO Today Magazine, the businesswoman said: “I wanted to help simplify people’s fitness journeys and create products that helped make what can be a daunting, confusing process a lot easier.

“I was in my first year at university, so I didn’t start in the same way I’d start a business now.

“I released a digital product at first, then went into physical products after we spotted a gap in the market for accessible, cute gym accessories that made your gym experience that much better, whilst allowing you to create an affordable portable gym.”

Grace added “she’d be lying” if she said starting a business at a young age hadn’t come with “challenges”, but she claimed the key was to hire “a powerhouse of young women from all different backgrounds.”

But Grace didn’t stop there.

Woman in light grey athletic wear.
Grace launched Shreddy, a fitness app while studying at the University of Oxford

In 2019 when she was 22, the entrepreneur decided to launch another business – an activewear brand called Tala.

The Instagram star was already making a name for herself as a fitness influencer with her @GracefitUK account.

In its first year, Grace made a whopping £6million in sales.

However, she counts the real launch of the business in April 2021, after she severed ties with her initial manufacturing partner and licenser.

She revealed to Vogue: “I haven’t talked about this much because at the time it was sensitive but having to rip it all down and start from scratch in order to build a brand with [longevity] was incredibly hard, it was incredibly expensive and incredibly tough emotionally.

“It required a huge amount of conviction.”

The previous business partners had wanted Tala to be an influencer brand, with sales driven by Grace’s account and “viral drops”.

However, she hoped to build a long-lasting business model and invest in product innovation.

She added: “Being an influencer merch brand is fine and it has its value. But capping the brand’s growth at myself and my own reach, where being an influencer actually isn’t even what I want to do, wasn’t what I wanted for my future or for the brand.”

The relaunch paid off, as she received a £4.5million investment in 2022.

Since joining Chelsea from a Doncaster Rovers Belles side that were demoted in 2013, Bright has lifted seven WSL titles, four FA Cups and two Women’s League Cups.
