My brother was found dead in sea in Thailand – tiny clue points to foul play & now I’m hunting mystery figure from CCTV

THE sister of a British tourist whose body was mysteriously found in the sea off Thailand believes a small clue could point to foul play.

Regan Kelly, 28, vanished in the early hours of January 3 before his naked body was found in the water off Patong.

His heartbroken sister Laurie Blackall flew to Phuket to try and piece together what happened to her brother.

Now back in the UK after repatriating Regan’s body, mum-of-one Laurie is still desperately trying to work out how he ended up in the water.

Laurie told The Sun: “I don’t believe that this was an accident at all. I really don’t believe it.”

The 31-year-old is also appealing to locate a man who was among the last people to speak to Regan, from Selsdon, South London, before he went missing.

She doesn’t believe he was involved in any way in Regan’s death, but hopes he could help fill in details of his final hours.

Regan and his friend left a club in the area after “someone started” on him and they headed back to the Mad Monkey Hostel where they were staying.

Laurie said: “Regan was still a bit upset and they had a bit of conflab over what happened in the club.

“Regan never got himself into any trouble, he was professional and not like that.

“His friend then left the hostel, but you can see on CCTV there was a man who was present in the room when my brother and his friend had a bit of a disagreement.

“The man was also seen consoling him outside the hostel.

“I’m just asking him to please come forward as it would just be nice to speak.

“It would be nice to speak to anybody that had spoken to him or anybody that was on the beach that night near the Graceland Resort.”

Laurie previously appealed to find the man Regan was seen in the bar in conversation with over fears their exchange became heated.

It was claimed in reports the man was seen following Regan to the beach.

But Laurie said: “I think he got portrayed as quite confrontational, but it wasn’t.

“My dad and I have spoken to this guy a few times while he was out there and he said Regan was talking about quite worldly things.

“He didn’t follow my brother – there’s more CCTV that showed him veer off down a different road to go back to where he was staying with his wife and child.”

Building surveyor Regan’s body was found by a watersports instructor at around 10am, hours after he was last seen on CCTV leaving the hostel.

Laurie described Regan as her ‘little big brother’[/caption] Map showing location of Brit Regan Kelly's body and last sighting in Phuket, Thailand.

The man who discovered his body told Laurie he was naked – apart from one sock.

Laurie said: “We walked the length of the beach, which was very, very vast – I reckon it was probably about five miles.

“We came across the guy who found my brother and he said that he had a sock on his right foot.

“It was a shock to us anyway that he was found naked – but to then discover that he had a sock on.

“My brother was very spiritual and would do things like walk home barefoot in the garden. He said you’ve got to be connected and ground yourself and the best way is contact with the ground.

“So we just thought there is no way he would have gone in the sea with a sock on.”

Regan had travelled to Thailand‘s paradise island Phuket with a friend and planned to spend a month there.

He was last seen on CCTV at the bar of the Mad Monkey Hotel in deep conversation with a man before he suddenly got up and left – heading towards the beach.

Another camera at a hotel closer to the seafront showed Regan running.

But a vital CCTV camera on the beach Laurie believes would have shown exactly how Regan ended up in the water was broken after being damaged in a sunbed fire last year.

Laurie fears her brother’s death has not been investigated properly and has been dismissed as accidental drowning.

Laurie said: “We don’t know how long Regan was on the beach, where he went on the beach.

“There was a second camera further up, and a tourist policeman went up there to check it and said it was damaged even though it was wired up.

“It just felt very convenient that these cameras weren’t working.

“It seems to me like it was an open shut case.

“The last few days we were in Thailand we just hit a real brick wall.”

Laurie and her dad flew back to the UK last week on the same day Regan’s body was repatriated.

They are now hoping an autopsy on home turf can shed some more light on what happened to the much-loved building surveyor.

Laurie added: “We’re all trying to get our heads around it.

“When I think of him as a person and what he was like, he was just so inspiring.

“Then I think of all the Christmases, birthdays, family get-togethers, and it’s just all gone.

“He was my little big brother as I used to call him. He used to look after me.”

Recent deaths of Brit tourists in Thailand

Robby Kinlan

Robby Kinlan, 21, died suddenly on the island of Koh Tao, where he had just completed an advanced free diving course, on January 9.

It is understood Robby, from Ireland, was found dead in his bed in a hotel room.

Police have not confirmed his cause of death but it is understood that they are not treating it as suspicious.

Robby had been spending his time on the island with pals “doing what he loved”, scuba diving and freediving in the clear waters off the coast.

Corey Beavis

Corey Beavis, 28, died in a horror motorcycle accident on January 4.

An inquest heard Corey, from Wales, lost control of the bike and crashed into a kerb.

The inquest at Pontypridd Coroner’s Court was told that Corey was riding in Phuket and died at the scene.

Bryn Adrian Whalley

Bryn Adrian Whalley, 57, died in a truck crash in Nakhon Si Thammarat.

Rebecca Turner

Rebecca Turner, 36, was found dead with her boyfriend in a Bangkok hotel room after taking what she believed to be cocaine.

Horrified friends found her and her partner’s bodies when they went looking for them.

Rebecca and boyfriend Sam Melnick, 32, had decided to stop in Thailand on her way back from a wedding in Laos.

She was due to return to the UK just a few weeks after she died on March 15 last year.

Emotions ran high in the latest Love Island twist as Montel McKenzie and Harriett Blackmore had the power to choose their first partner.

The Islanders were told to gather around the fire pit before the newbies were made to choose someone to couple up with.

Ronnie Vint was fuming by the brutal twist, while both Catherine Agbaje and Elma Pazar were left in tears.

Earlier in Friday night’s episode, smitten Catherine told Montel he had “walked in at the perfect time” during a chat with him.

So when he chose a delighted Kaz over her during at the daytime steal, Catherine was also left on the brink of tears.

The “daytime steal” came just 48 hours after the bombshells entered the villa – yet loyal show viewers reckon Montel will now be next out.

One took to Instagram to put: “Oh Catherine my darling im sorry get another bombshell in for her please MONTEL YOUR DAYS ARE NUMBERED.”

Another put: “Montel that’s disappointing, at least we have a new couple to vote out first.”

A third then put: “I want Montel and Kaz to go.”

Another commented: “I hope Catherine doesn’t give Montel the time of day again.”

Only this week, viewers were fearing Catherine was going to quit Love Island All Stars after she burst into tears and admitted: “I just want someone to hold my hand.”

Meanwhile, Harriett revealed the real reason she picked Ron over ex Ronnie.

Bluntly Harriet said: “Look, I can’t come in and pick my ex after 24 hours.”

Ronnie then replied, “No, I get that, I’m clear in what I want.”

Love Island All Stars 2025 official line-up

Love Island All Stars is back on TV for season 2.

Here we take you through the line-up of all the Islanders who are in the villa so far.

Bombshells

Each series brings with it a string of hot single bombshells making their epic entrance into the villa.

Here’s who has joined the villa so far:

Harriet immediately then asked: “What do you want?”

Without missing a beat, her ex-boyfriend said: “You.”

This led some fans to suggest they had faked their split on the outside world in order to win the All Stars series.

Sara Davies invested in my business during nail-biting Dragons’ Den episode – this is what she’s really like off screen

AN entrepreneur who won investment from Sara Davies has revealed exactly what the Dragons’ Den star is like.

Viewers of the BBC One business show watched Alex Street appear in the den, looking for a £50,000 cash injection for his football jersey business.

Sara handed over her £50k in cash with strict conditions for Alex after he fudged his numbers[/caption]

Called Mystery Jersey King, customers pay for a football shirt by only selecting their size.

The business model sees a ‘mystery box’ delivered to the customer’s door containing their jersey.

Businessman Alex had asked the Dragons’ Den tycoons for £50k in exchange for 10% of his business.

While his pitch got off to a rocky start as he awkwardly didn’t know key numbers, Sara Davies was the only dragon to throw him a lifeline and offer him a deal.

Some viewers might think the dragons have minimal contact with every entrepreneur but Alex has said that’s not the case with Sara, 40.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun, he explained: “Genuinely, what you see on screen is what you get off screen.

“And there’s no hiding with that. She’s been fabulous for me.

“Her whole team have been great with me. They understand that my weakness is my weakness, as most of the nation knows now.

“But that’s where they’re helping me to look after that. And then they want me to flourish with the brand and the sourcing that I do.”

After Alex fudged his numbers on the Beeb hit, Sara offered him her cold-hard cash with a condition.

She handed over the £50,000 for 15% of the business – which drops back to 10% if Alex repays her investment back in full by 18 months.

He continued: “She is pretty hands-on. She ran a boot camp in September, October.

“Even that was a little overwhelming because you’re hearing from the team, different parts of the agency and stuff like that. But they put on a real workshop clinic for a couple of days, which was incredible.

“And you get full, no-limit access to everything, which was wonderful. But even then, there’s still follow-up there. There’s WhatsApp groups. And that’s really what it’s all about.

“Because someone like me who’s gone into the investment and that, I’m a small business that all I care about is making every customer happy with a mystery box. I want every customer to have a Kinder Egg of the football shirt.”

Dragons' Den stars - past and present

Dragons' Den has been on our screens since 2005 and sees entrepreneurs enter the Den to try and win investment for their businesses from the Dragons.

Over the years there have been many wealthy investors sitting in the famous seats, here’s a rundown of them all and how long they were on the show for.

Chilling moment Hamas thugs parade four female hostages as they’re surrounded by gun-wielding terrorists before release

THIS is the moment four young Israeli hostages were surrounded by gun-wielding militants before they were released.

Karina Ariev, 20, Daniela Gilboa, 20, Naama Levy, 20, and Liri Elbag, 19, were handed over to the Red Cross by balaclava-wearing Hamas leaders.

The four girls were kidnapped on October 7, 2023[/caption] Illustration of a three-phase peace deal for the Middle East, showing ceasefire, hostage release, and border details.

These female IDF soldiers were part of the second hostage release of the fragile ceasefire between the two groups.

The four women were kidnapped on October 7, 2023, during the deadly assault on Israel’s Nahal Oz military base.

These girls were handed over in the middle of a public square in Gaza City on Saturday.

This handover ceremony was slammed as “cynical” by IDF spokesman Daniel Hagari.

He said: “Hamas is a murderous terror group. In the last few hours Hamas proved its cruelty by organizing a cynical ceremony.”

Hagari added that the group “presented a misrepresentation of treatment and care for the hostages, while in reality, it is cruelly holding for 477 days innocent civilians”.

The hostages were kept in SUVs as huge crowds of Palestinians gathered to watch the historic moment.

Dozens of camo-wearing and rifle-holding militants formed a barrier between the crowds and the Hamas cars, Red Cross SUVs, and podium where the girls were handed over.

Huge Palestinian flags were waved in the watching crowd and one person held a poster of the assassinated Hamas boss Yahya Al-Sinwar.

The four girls were escorted out of their vehicles as they desperately hugged each other while circled by the gun-wielding militants.

They held hands as they walked onto a podium in front of dozens of onlookers.

The women were seen waving their hands from the stage before being handed to the Red Cross.

This tense and fragile exchange was speedily ended as the humanitarian cars were escorted through the crowds of curious onlookers and out of the square to their freedom.

The IDF confirmed the women were then transferred to the Israeli military and Shin Bet forces in the Gaza Strip.

The force said on X on Saturday morning: “The four returnees are now being escorted by an elite IDF unit and Shin Bet force on their way to Israel, where they will undergo an initial medical evaluation.

“IDF commanders and soldiers salute and embrace the returnees on their way to Israel.”

Their families are just moments away from being emotionally reunited with their girls for the first time in over 477 days.

Despite this, their families and friends are overjoyed that they are back to safety.

Albag’s friends told Israeli outlet Ynet: “Yes! Yes! Yes! Liri the hero.

“We saw Liri coming back. She waved her hand and she seems fine. It’s crazy. We were really worried, but she’s a hero with a huge smile.”

DEAL-BREAKER

Hamas was accused of breaking the terms of the hostage arrangement by releasing the four female soldiers before releasing the civilian women, according to IDF Spokesman Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari.

“Hamas did not abide by its obligation in the deal to free civilian women first,” he said in a televised statement on Saturday.

Hagari called for the immediate release of prisoner Arbel Yehud, whom Israel believes to be alive, as well as Shiri Bibas and her children, “who we have heavy concerns for their fate.”

The spokesperson said he expects Israel will receive more information about the Bibas family, including the five and two-year-old brothers, soon.

HORROR DAY

These four girls were snatched from their military base in Southern Israel in a terrifying attack.

Hamas militants released terrifying footage of the girls covered in blood as they were tied up in front of murderous invaders.

The young soldiers were also pushed up against a wall as a militant screamed “take pictures of them”.

“Our brothers died because of you, we will shoot you all,” a Hamas fighter screamed at the terrified girls.

The four IDF soldiers were held captive for 477 days of terror as their families fought for their release.

I was struggling to survive so joined OnlyFans – I’m one of the top creators & made over £1.1million but I don’t do porn

A CONTENT creator has revealed that she was struggling to survive, so quit her job to join OnlyFans.

The 24-year-old from Texas, who uses the pseudonym Zara Dar, said goodbye to her bio-engineering career to become a full-time creator on OnlyFans – and is now raking in the cash.

The former university student, who spent two years in grad school at a top-tier university, has now cashed in over £1.1million[/caption]

She made just £192,200 last December alone[/caption]

As reported by Business Insider, Zara is now one of the app’s top creators and has made over $1.4million [£1.1million].

Zara earned a jaw-dropping $50,000 [£40,000] in her first three months on the app and in December last year, she cashed in a staggering $240,000 [£192,200].

But despite her success on OnlyFans, Zara, who “never imagined” she would make so much money through the app, insists that unlike other creators, she doesn’t do porn.

After starting OnlyFans, Zara began posting lectures to YouTube and Pornhub in 2023, focusing on science, technology, engineering, and maths.

And on OnlyFans, in addition to posting STEM content, she shares erotic photoshoots and exchanges messages with fans, which has proven a major source of revenue for creators on the platform.

According to her dashboard, Zara’s total income from messaging is $661,000 [£529,450] – yes, you heard that correctly.

Unlike many OnlyFans creators, Zara said doing both STEM lectures on YouTube and PornHub alongside adult content on OnlyFans “makes my approach not only unique but also more relevant to who I am.”

Prior to her OnlyFans career, Zara spent two years in grad school at a top-tier university.

There, she achieved a master’s degree and worked toward a doctorate in biomedical engineering.

But she left her doctorate program at the end of 2024 after realising “it wasn’t the right fit.”

And whilst she was surviving on “barely enough to cover basic living expenses”, she decided to think about other ways to earn a living.

Whilst Zara didn’t reveal how much she was being paid whilst studying, she explained that just one YouTube video made her $40,000 [£32,000] in only 24 hours – more than her annual salary whilst a graduate student.

My experience on OnlyFans proves that you don’t need to create porn to earn a substantial income

Zara Dar

And whilst many people may assume that Zara posts porn on the adult app, she claimed: “The truth is quite the opposite.

“OnlyFans has given me the freedom to learn, research, and share whatever I’m passionate about.

What is OnlyFans?

OnlyFans is a subscription content service based in London.

As of 2023, it is thought to have more than 220million registered users and over three million content creators.

Sex workers charge monthly fees for access to pictures, videos and more.

While popular for porn, the site isn’t exclusively designed with that in mind – anyone who wants to build up a fan base and charge them for it can set one up.

Celebs like Katie Price and Kerry Katona are popular personalities on the platform.

“Whether you’re uploading tutorials, tips, behind-the-scenes footage or just endless selfies, a lot of your followers would be willing to pay for them,” the company states.

For every subscription that’s sold to a viewer, performers get 80 per cent of the cash while OnlyFans gets the rest.

It isn’t limited to adult content, as it has become popular with physical fitness experts and musicians.

“My experience on OnlyFans proves that you don’t need to create porn to earn a substantial income.”

Zara now has 149,000 followers on Instagram and 150,000 subscribers on YouTube and despite how much she makes, she said she is careful with her money.

Not only does she invest her cash, but she also tries to live frugally, and avoids luxury purchases.

As well as this, Zara shared her advice for creators considering OnlyFans, as she stressed the importance of finding a niche and to “never do anything you’re uncomfortable with.”

They cost £715 less than the YSL loafers[/caption]

Even celebrities like Made in Chelsea‘s Georgia Toffolo have fallen for them.

Taking to social media, she sung the praises of the M&S suede loafers styling them in a video.

Georgia revealed she bought a pair of the viral shoes, telling her followers: ‘And these loafers that I got from M&S’ before making a shocked face.

The shoe has proven so popular that the website has sold out of the style and can only be found in store.

The suede leather loafers come in two colours, chocolate brown and taupe.

They have a flat heel to keep your feet comfortable all day long and have a saddle finish along the front for extra detail.

The leather shoes are bargain at £55 and people have been comparing them to YSL’s which retail for £770.

The dupe could save you £715 in total while adding a luxe designer look to your outfit.

M&S bosses say: “These loafers bring timeless style and luxe texture to your footwear collection.”

Customers who have managed to get their hands on the viral shoes have taken to the M&S website to rave about them.

The must-have jacket every woman needs in their wardrobe and how to style it

A CLASSIC trench can see you through to spring and beyond.

Fabulous’  Deputy Fashion Editor Abby McHale reveals why it’s the only coat you’ll ever need…

“In the autumn, the weather is frustratingly unpredictable, from rain one minute to glorious sunshine the next, it’s hard to keep up. And when it comes to what to wear, it makes dressing tricky.

Luckily, a trench is perfect for this. Nice and light, it can simply be folded away into your bag if you suddenly feel too hot.

I love Tu at Sainsbury’s Stone Longline Belted Trench Coat – was £40, now £28.

During a warm, wet autumn, style your trench coat with a midi dress. Then, when it gets cooler, start layering. Opt for a long sleeve top, sweater vest and boots.

When the winter chill sets in, bigger, thicker knits are a must, and if your trench coat is a little oversized, they will fit perfectly underneath with being too bulky you can’t move your arms.

Opt for thick tights and long boots and I promise you won’t miss your big winter coat.

December is all about festivities and a trench is the perfect option to wear over your party frock to take you from A to B.

And when Spring rolls around with wet weather, it’ll be your trench coat that you’ll be reaching for again.”

Meanwhile a fourth said: “They are SO perfect. Very on trend, comfortable & great quality.”

“I love them!! Very on trend and look more expensive, really comfortable,” claimed a fifth.

Someone else added: “Love these designer dupes!”

Jesy and her boyfriend Zion are getting ready to become parents for the first time, and the former Little Mix star has revealed the ups and downs of being pregnant.

Although she is enjoying her pregnancy so far, she revealed she has had sickness.

Jesy opened up about her journey to becoming a mum in an Instagram Q&A.

Asked how she felt when she found out she was pregnant, Jesy replied: “Very very shocked. It wasn’t planned but I felt instantly happy as soon as I saw that I was.”

Responding to another question, the singer revealed her reaction to having twins, and said: “When I found out I was having twins Zion and me were shocked

“Although a lot of our friends guessed it way before our scan because I was showing very early.”

However, she also opened up that she had been feeling unwell.

“I’ve been very sick where I’m having twins so constant vomiting 24/7.  But other than that feeling very blessed,” the singer revealed.

One question a lot of fans wanted to know, was what Jesy will call her babies.

Keeping coy, she replied: “We do know our baby names, but keeping it a secret for now.”

Jesy has been keeping her fans up-to-date with her preganany so far.

On Wednesday, she couldn’t have looked happier as she showed off her growing bump in a video with Zion.

The singer looked causal and comfortable in her low-waisted green jogging bottoms, teamed with a bright pink cardigan.

She captioned her post: “Still can’t believe we’re having twins!”

On Sunday, Jesy shared a sweet snap when she revealed that she was pregnant with her babies.

She captioned the shot: “She’s eating for 3 now” alongside two baby emojis.

It comes after she reunited with Zion, 24, after they reportedly split back in September.

The pair first broke up in the summer of 2023 when Jesy was struggling with their nine year age gap.

They got back together early in 2024, but unfollowed each other in September on social media – and she had wiped all traces of Zion until sharing her pregnancy snap.

Jesy first found fame in 2011 when she won The X Factor with Little Mix.

The girlband – which also included Jade Thirlwall, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Perrie Edwards – went on to have 17 top 10 singles and five number ones.

She left Little Mix in 2020 and went on to launch a solo career.

Her 2021 debut solo single Boyz, featuring rapper Nicki Minaj, debuted at number four on the UK Singles Chart.

She released her most recent single in August, a track called Mine that featured Zion.

It has now come to light, that not one of her former Little Mix bandmates have publicly congratulated her on her pregnancy.

But in a post on X, formerly Twitter, this morning, Morrisons said the branches had reopened.

It said: “All of our stores in Scotland are now open following the bad weather caused by Storm Eowyn – just in time to get ready for your Burns Night celebrations.”

It comes after Scottish households were urged to stay indoors following a rare red weather warning from the Met Office.

Tens of thousands are still without power in parts of the UK, with one man killed in Ireland after a tree fell on his car.

Alongside the supermarket closures, trains were cancelled and flights grounded.

This is the full list of Morrisons stores that closed and have reopened:

  • Livingston
  • Alloa
  • Ferry Road
  • Hunter’s Tryst
  • Moredun
  • Portobello

It’s not just Morrisons that was forced to close supermarkets due to the adverse weather conditions.

M&S also told shoppers it would close all 62 of its stores in Scotland and Ireland and Waterstones said its Edinburgh branches would shut.

Virgin Money also directed customers to its store finder tool so they could see if their local bank branch was open.

As of yesterday, Virgin Money said it expected its branches to be back to normal opening hours today.

RETAILERS CLOSE

Sainsbury’s closed all its branches across Scotland and Northern Ireland yesterday.

Stores in Scotland shut from 7am to 6pm and those in Northern Ireland closed from 7am to 3pm.

The retailer said stores would “reopen once it is safe to do so after the weather warning lifts”.

Tesco also closed a number of stores across the two countries and cancelled home delivery orders on Friday.

But the retailer said stores would open back up after the red weather warning lifted.

Greggs also shut all its Northern Ireland and Scotland stores due to the bad weather conditions.

A statement posted by the bakery on Friday said: “To protect our customers and colleagues, we’ll be closing a number of Greggs shops in Scotland and Northern Ireland in line with the Met Office advice not to travel due to severe red weather warnings in place today.

“We’ll continue to monitor the guidance and reopen when it’s safe to do so.”

Yellow weather warnings are still in place across large parts of the UK as the Met Office urged households to “be prepared”.

A number of snow and ice warnings have been issued with travel chaos expected to continue into the weekend.

Storm and compensaton rights

Consumer reporter James Flanders explains what you might be due.

Power outages

If your power is off for more than 24 hours following bad weather, you are entitled to £80.

You will also get £80 if you are left without power for 48 hours due to a “severe” storm.

After these time frames, you’ll get a further £40 for every additional six hours you are without power, up to a maximum of £2,000.

How you can claim compensation varies depending on your distribution network operator (DNO) – you can find your DNO on the National Grid’s website.

You must claim power compensation within 30 days of any power outage.

Storm damage

You may be able to make a claim on your home insurance for storm damage, but of course, this depends on the type of cover you have.

The finer details in your terms and conditions will reveal what exactly you are covered for.

Usually, both building and contents insurance cover against storm and weather damage, according to comparethemarket.com.

The Financial Ombudsman defines a storm as “generally involving” violent winds, usually accompanied by rain, hail or snow“.

But many insurers have their own standards defining “bad weather”, which you agree to when you take out the policy.

Water outage

If you’re left without water due to bad weather and it isn’t restored by the time the company says it will be, you’re usually entitled to compensation of £20 for the first 24 hours.

After this point, you should get an extra £10 for each further 24-hour period you’re left without running water.

If your supplier doesn’t send you compensation within 20 working days, you are entitled to an extra £20.

However, there are some circumstances when your water company doesn’t have to pay compensation.

For example, if the weather was severe enough, it was not able to meet its “standards”.

Broadband and landline outages

Broadband and landline customers can get money back from their provider following outages through the Automatic Compensation Scheme.

You don’t have to ask for compensation, and it should just be given to you automatically after reporting any issues.

Ofcom, the telecoms regulator, previously confirmed to The Sun the scheme applies if the fault is caused by bad weather.

Any compensation is sent as a credit on your bill no later than 30 days after the issue occurred.

Landline and broadband customers can get compensation if their service has stopped working and is not fixed after two full working days.

For each calendar day that the service is not repaired after this two-day period, the customer receives £9.33.

Car damage

You’ll only be able to claim on your car insurance if it’s fully comprehensive.

Third-party fire and theft policies only cover if your car is damaged by another vehicle or if your car is stolen or catches fire, according to Uswitch.

So if you’re not fully comp, you’ll have to fork out for damage caused by falling trees or fences from Storm Isha.

With a fully comp policy, you’ll still have to pay the excess – how much that is depends on how much the policy is.

But bear in mind that making a claim could see your premium rate jump up.

Train delays

You can get your money back if your train is cancelled or delayed – but only if you choose not to travel at all.

National Rail says your unused ticket can be refunded, and you shouldn’t be charged a fee for this.

All ticket types are refundable if you do not travel due to disruption, according to the Office of Rail and Road.

You may be able to get compensation for train journeys that have been delayed or cancelled due to severe weather.

All train companies have adopted “delay repay”, a national scheme used to compensate you for unexpected delays – and sometimes this includes bad weather.

Passengers are entitled to compensation for any delay of 15 minutes or more unless the delay is caused by planned engineering work.

How much you get back depends on how long the delay is and the type of ticket you have.

You can usually claim online via the train company’s website and will usually need a picture of your ticket and information about the train service you were on to claim.

Flight delays

When a flight is due to depart from an EU airport, regardless of the airline, or where an EU airline is due to land at an EU airport, you are covered by EU flight delay and cancellation rules.

When your flight is cancelled, you’re entitled to an alternative flight or a full refund – including a refund for the return leg.

If you opt for an alternative flight, it’s up to you whether to fly as soon as possible after the cancelled flight or at a later date.

If you opt for a later flight, you may also be entitled to food, drink and accommodation if you have to stay overnight.

Your airline may give you a voucher to redeem.

If you cannot contact your airline, you may need to pay for accommodation yourself and claim the cash back later – make sure you keep hold of receipts.

If you were due to travel outside the EU, contact your airline as what you’re entitled to will vary.

If your flight has been delayed for more than five hours and it’s an EU flight, you are entitled to a refund if you no longer want to travel.

You will also get a refund for any unused parts of your booking – for example, the return flight – and a flight back to your departure airport if you’ve already completed part of your journey.

If you opt for this, keep in mind that you’ll generally no longer be entitled to any further care and assistance.

Generally, you don’t have a right to claim additional compensation if the cause of the delay or cancellation is bad weather.

My bright pink house is swarmed by beautiful young women…but now I’m being forced OUT after cops crashed my wild parties

THE most “instagrammable” house in London is up for sale for £1.25million and the owner is gutted to see the pink pad go.

Eccentric property developer and reality star Malcom Wood, 66, owns the 871-square-foot social media sensation and says he’s spotted a fair share of influencers on his doorstep.

The Bankrobber house on Lonsdale Road, Notting Hill, is supposedly the most photographed house in London.

Unfortunately Macolm is letting it go due to tax hikes, but he said he’ll definitely miss the tourist hotspot.

“It’s had more than 2,000 women who have had their photo taken outside,” he said.

“They’re always there, when I stayed there for a little while, every time I’d look out my window they’d wave at me.

“Sometimes they’ll want to throw a party – one influencer paid me £4,000 for one night.”

Malcolm has since moved out of his party house and it’s been used mostly on Airbnb for £300 a night.

THE PINK HOUSE

A quick search of “The Pink House” online will drag up thousands of pictures of models, influencers and tourists posted outside the pink plot.

Taking snazzy pictures along the high-end street was nineteen-year-old entrepreneur Ava Reynolds.

The founder of content creation service That’s So Social was snapping pics of part-time models Chloe Flunder and Amy Young with luxury property backdrops.

Amy said she’s not had a problem taking photos outside the lavish pads of London, and owners seem to be fine with it.

“No one has ever actually come out, I think they’re probably so used to it,” she added.

“Especially somewhere like Notting Hill, round here, they’re so used to this sort of thing.”

Other swanky houses in the area certainly seemed to get some attention too.

A neighbour on the road said her home has received its fair share of internet fame as well.

She said: “We get a few for sure, people taking pictures outside but it’s not too hectic – because it’s everywhere in London.

“You walk down the street and there’s always people taking pictures. Our front house as well, it’s kind of the usual thing.

“In peak season you’d  probably get 10 a day maybe.”

Robbie Williams, Harry Styles, and Hugh Grant are just a few of the Hollywood stars who are rumoured to live in the city’s infamously posh spot.

With three high-ceilinged floors, a secret top floor, and two secret basement floors, the houses along Lonsdale Road are said to boast six levels altogether.

THE PARTY HOUSE

In his outlandish TV show Malcom Flips Vegas, the businessman is seen striking up deals with the assistance of beautiful women, limousines, and most importantly a never-ending party.

The Pink House, The Bankrobber House, The Love House, The Skinny House are all names used to describe the most photographed property in London, but there’s another name that it might deserve more – The Party House.

Fittingly, the property is bang in the middle of Europe’s biggest street party, Notting Hill Carnival, but it might be even wilder behind the pink doors.

He’s said he wouldn’t be able to share all the raucous times he’s had at The Pink House but he can promise he’s had a good time there.

“There’s been loads of police coming to parties and saying you’ve got to calm down – my group is a bit wild,” he added.

“It’s been a lovely house, I’m quite sad selling it, to be honest.”

Neighbour Cheryl says it’s been rather serene lately but remembers the rave days: “There were only a few but they used to go on until 3am.”

“They used to get millions of people in there.”

Inside the bright red doors is a cosy living room with a fur rug, a throw and a cosy kitchen at the back.

A quick trip down the spiral staircase leads you to the bedroom with a bathroom only for the brave.

The cheeky en-suite is completely glass-fronted with a complete view of the bath, loo, and even straight outside.

It’s even got a secret door for people to leave the house directly from the brazen boudoir.

Climbing up to the roof offers a wooden panelled terrace with a view of Lonsdale Street and Raglan Art Gallery.

“They do call it the love house,” Malcom recalled fondly.

“I’ve had four main tenants here, everyone one of them fell in love, got married to the woman they were living with and moved out because they had a baby.”

THE BANKROBBER HOUSE

The famous London joint was so popular it used to exhibit works by Banksy, Russell Young, Pete Doherty and Ronnie Kray.

For this reason, it was nicknamed The Bankrobber House.

It had been pink for decades but it certainly turned heads when Malcom and his painters made a slight blunder.

It was getting dark one Friday afternoon in 2005 and the team were finishing off some construction work for the place.

Malcolm explained: “I said to my labourers, ‘Man, let’s just paint the front of this house, it’s so small, we don’t want to come back here on Monday.”

“So I peeled off a chip of paint, and I said ‘Go and get this paint’ and it was a much lighter pink.

“There were five of us and we thought let’s just paint this place double quick in darkness.

“We didn’t know it was fluorescent pink.”

When the team woke up they realised they’d painted the house a bright fluorescent pink.

It’s since been repainted to the recognisable hot pink it is now.

If you’re thinking pink, you can snap up the hot-house for £1.25million with Foxtons or Knight Frank.
