A POLICE has chase ended in a horror crash leaving a man fighting for his life and a woman with life-changing injuries.
The smash unfolded at around 4.20pm yesterday on Harrow Road, in Paddington, London.

A white car being chased by police lost control under Westbourne Bridge.
Shocking pictures show how the vehicle went over a barrier and became stuck over the pavement.
The front bumper appears completely crumpled while the two front doors have been removed.
Emergency services rushed a man, in his 20s, to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
A woman, also in her 20s, was taken for treatment with life-changing injuries.
An investigation has now been launched by the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC).
An IOPC spokesperson said: “We are aware of the incident and have begun an independent investigation to assess the police’s involvement in the lead-up to the collision.
“Our thoughts are with those injured, and we are committed to thoroughly examining the facts.”
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “Anyone with information that could assist police is asked to call 101 or post @MetCC quoting reference CAD 1279/5April.
“To remain 100 per cent anonymous contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”

The actress starred in the famous franchise alongside Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Anna Kendrick.
Christian impressed so much, she won the Young Supporting Actress award in the Best Performance in a Feature Film category at the 30th Young Artist Awards in 2009.
Speaking to Full Circle magazine about getting the call she had an audition for Twilight she said: “Well I was actually living in Minden, Nevada working on my writing and music when I got a call for this movie called Twilight – at the time I had no idea what it was.
“I figured I should do my homework on it, so I read the books on the plane and fell in love.
“I didn’t originally go out for Angela, I went out for Jessica (played by Anna Kendrick) I put my hair up and glasses on and just lucked out because they booked me.
“I got to go up to Portland and meet everyone, and they had such a wonderful, cool cast.
“Everyone was really awesome.”
Before Twilight fame, Christian had a recurring role as Suzie Crabgrass in Nickelodeon’s Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide from 2004 to 2007.
LIFE AFTER TWILIGHT
These days the actress is best known for playing Rosita Espinosa from The Walking Dead.
She made her first appearance on the horror TV series in 2014 and went on to become an important member of the Militia before leaving in 2022.
Speaking about watching back her character’s final scenes, Christian told Entertainment Weekly: “I was so proud.
“It was so good. I was so proud of me. I don’t often watch me and go, ‘God, that woman is great.’

“And I watched me and was like, ‘God, I f***ing nailed it.'”
Continuing she said: “I’d been on the show for so long, and in watching the show, one of the things that I really loved about it was that it made me emotional.

PLAYING AN ICON
Christian is known for her incredible singing voice, something which she showed off in Netflix’s biopic series, Selena.
The series followed the life and tragic death of singing icon Selena Quintanilla.
Talking about playing the lead role of Selena, the actress told Marie Claire: ““I’m not a professional pop star, you know?
“I had to trust myself and do [the dance steps] the way that I felt she was doing them.
“It made me more confident, which in turn made it not matter if it was right or wrong.
“Because the thing that Selena had, that was so special, was her confidence.”

Adam Lawrence’s team roared into a 9-0 lead before half-time led by a sensational double hat-trick from 18-year-old Victor Musa.
Musa, who was wearing the captain’s armband for the clash, led by example as he scored Man Utd’s first five goals, including his first hat-trick being completed in 14 minutes.
There was also a hat-trick for 17-year-old midfielder Jim Thwaites in the first half before Musa notched his sixth goal in injury time.
After the break, a goal from James Bailey put them 10-0 up before Kenneth Mensah managed a consolation reply from the visitors.
But there was still more to come from Lawrence’s team, with defender Dan Armer grabbing a goal of his own before U14 star Gabriel was brought on to make his debut.
Gabriel has been touted as one of the most talented stars in the Red Devils academy and made history today by becoming the youngest-ever star to play for the club’s Under-18s.
After coming in the 65th minute he did not look out of place before cooly slotting a shot past the goalkeeper in the 89th minute.
He then added a second on his left foot two minutes later after taking the ball down on his right outside the box, dribbling past two Leeds defenders and rolling the ball into the bottom corner.
Gabriel has been on the books at Old Trafford since 2021.
