Iran sends chilling strike threat to neighbouring countries as Ayatollah refuses Trump’s demand for direct nuke talks

IRAN has sent a chilling strike threat to neighbouring countries as Ayatollah Khamenei refuses US President Trump’s demand for direct nuclear talks.

The country has issued chilling notices to Iraq, Kuwait, the UAE, Qatar, Turkey and Bahrain, warning that any support for a US attack on Iran would be seen an act of hostility, an official revealed.

Although Iran strongly rejected Trump’s consistent demand for talks, it wants to continue indirect negotiations through Oman – a longtime channel for messages between the rival states – an anonymous, senior Iranian official revealed.

They said: “Indirect talks offer a chance to evaluate Washington‘s seriousness about a political solution with Iran.”

Despite this being potentially “rocky,” crunch talks could happen soon if the US said they would be in support, they added.

The stark notices issued to neighbouring countries also include warnings of using their air space or terrority by the US military during a potential attack.

It added that doing so would “have severe consequences for them,” the official said, revealing that Ayatollah Khamenei had chillingly put Iran’s armed forces on high alert.

Turkey‘s Foreign Ministry said it was not aware of a warning but that such messages could be conveyed by other channels.

On Wednesday, Iranian state media reported that Kuwait had reassured Iran that it wouldn’t accept any aggressive action being directed at other countries from its soil.

And Iran’s ally Russia said on Thursday that any US threats of military strikes against it were unacceptable, before desperately calling for restraint on Friday.

While Iran tries to gain more support from Russia, it remains sceptical about Moscow‘s commitment to its ally as it “depends on the dynamics” of the relationship between Trump and Putin, a second Iranian official said.

It comes after Trump vowed to bomb Iran “like never before” if the regime doesn’t fall in line and strike up a new nuclear deal with the US.

Illustration of B-2 Spirit bomber deployment to Diego Garcia from the USS Harry S Truman and USS Carl Vinson.

In a chilling letter delivered to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei on March 7, Trump suggested direct negotiations of a fresh nuclear agreement between the two counties.

The first Iranian official said a first round of indirect talks could involve Omani mediators shuttling between the Iranian and US delegations.

But the official added how they believe there was a window of roughly two months to agree a deal, describing how fears loom of Iran’s enemy Israel might launch its own attack if talks took longer.

This could then trigger a so-called “snap back” of all international sanctions on Iran to prevent the country from acquiring a nuclear weapon.

While Iran has long denied wanting to develop a nuclear weapon, it has “dramatically” accelerated enrichment of uranium close to weapons-grade level, the UN nuclear watchdog has chillingly revealed.

Western states say there is no need to enrich uranium to such a high level under any civilian program and that no other country has done so without producing nuclear bombs.

While Iran has said it will consider talks with the U.S. if the aim was to address concerns over its programme, it has rejected holding any direct negotiations when the US is making threats, adding that its missile programme would be off limits.

A senior Iranian military command Alireza Hajizadeh implied on Monday that US bases in the region could be targeted in any conflict.

The Sun understands that the US and Israel are planning a major coordinated strike against Iran.

European powers are hoping for a diplomatic deal to be done, which will limit Iran’s uranium enrichment activity.

The US Navy is doubling the number of carriers in the region in preparation, even moving the aircraft carrier that dumped Osama Bin Laden’s body – the USS Carl Vinson – to the area.

Already its pal the USS Harry S. Truman – which has been crucial in hammering Iran’s Houthi terror allies with bombs – is there.

Analysts believe the Carl Vinson is currently in the South China Sea and could be in the Persian Gulf as quickly as April 9.

America now also has a third of its B-2 stealth bombers stationed at Diego Garcia.

Satellite photos of the airbase tarmac shows six of America’s 20 B-2 Spirits are now pointed directly at Iran and ready to fly.

The heavy stealth bombers could be carrying bombs big enough to penetrate thick defences at nuclear sites deep underground and wipe them out.

Six Stratotanker in-flight refuelling aircraft can also be seen on the tarmac at the Diego Garcia in fresh satellite images taken today.

These planes would refill the B-2 Spirits and ensure they are able to fly to Iran, deliver the payload, and fly the 2,500miles back to the base.

Tehran, in return, has warned it will blitz a US base with a top Iranian general threatening “they are in a glass house and should not throw stones”.

Iran's accelerates nuclear development

Exclusive by Katie Davis, Chief Foreign Reporter (Digital)

IRAN is believed to have accelerated its nuclear weapons development and is building terrifying nuclear warheads for solid-fuel missiles with a range exceeding 1,800 miles (3,000km).

A powerful blast from Iran could impact on several continents due to the chilling capability of the warheads.

Italy, Ukraine, Sudan, India and even large swaths of Russia would all potentially be in the firing line.

They are being developed at two sites in Shahrud and Semnan, which were previously pinned as rocket or space satellite launch sites.

A third site, Sorkheh Hesar, is also said to be carrying out projects, including research on nuclear power and underground explosions.

Nukes are being quickly created under the watchful eye of the regime’s nuclear weaponization entity, the Organization for Advanced Defense Research (SPND).

Bosses are developing nuclear warheads for the solid-fuel Ghaem-100 missiles, which are equipped with mobile launch platforms at the Shahrud site.

Iran’s rocket designers have used North Korea’s missiles as a guide to develop the Ghaem-100 missile.

When the missile was in a very early testing stage in 2011, dozens of missile experts were killed at the Modarres site in Tehran.

Personnel vehicles are banned from entering the Shahrud site and are forced to park at a checkpoint before people are transported in.

Meanwhile, they are using the liquid fuel missile Simorgh to develop nuclear warheads in Semnan.

Iran has staged three successful Ghaem-100 missile launches over the past two years, enhancing the regime’s capability to deploy nuclear weapons.

Sky have slashed the prices of their Stream and Glass TV packages.

The TV giant is now offering Sky Ultimate TV with Netflix for £20/month.

It is also offering Sky Sports add-ons for £20 instead of £31.

Collectively, a Sky Stream package with Sky Ultimate TV, Netflix and Sports will cost a collective £40.

That’s a 40 per cent saving on the normal cost of those packages.

The TV company hiked the cost of most of their packages by 14%, while existing customers were handed a 6% on their bills.

Sky have also announced that a slew of channels would be disappearing from TV boxes in yet another satellite shake up.

Sky Sports Racing 3D, Christian broadcaster TWR and Muslim network Ramazan were all pulled on March 31, 2025.

The beloved Sky History +1 channel was axed on April 5, 2025, in what some users have speculated is part of a plan to phase out SKy Q.

Sky Q is the satellite-based box released in 2016 which hasn’t been upgraded for years.

Several channels have shut down their HD versions and now only broadcast from their standard definition ones instead.

Viewers have slammed the move, taking to Sky’s forum to brand the decisions as a “backward step”.

However, a Sky executive assured fans that Sky Q will still “be with us for a while”.

Speaking at the launch of Sky Glass Gen 2, the Global Chief Product Officer for Comcast and Sky, Fraser Stirling, said: “Customer satisfaction is really good still and the reason it’s good is because we’re still invested in it.”

Amanda, 54, is taking a well-deserved break with her family in the UAE city and has been sharing her many sartorial choices with her social media followers.

Posting the snaps to her Instagram stories, the mum made sure to tag brand Endless.UAE, which rents and resells clothing, to thank them for the Oh Polly dress.

She teamed the affordable number, which retails for £69, with a gold necklace and bracelets and wore her long blonde hair down in loose waves.

During her vacation, Amanda has been sharing snaps of her wardrobe options with her Instagram followers.

Just last week she posted a snap of her wearing a gold dress featuring a plunging neckline.

The glamorous mum-of-two wore her blonde hair loose and finished off her outfit with a gold necklace and earrings.

Under the snaps, Strictly Come Dancing‘s Tess Daly and Loose Women star Ruth Langsford added ‘fire’ emojis.

One fan also wrote: “Wow wow wow the gift that keeps on giving gorgeous xx.”

Another added: “Pure beauty and gorgeous ❤❤❤.”

And a third told her: “You look incredible and your legs are phenomenal.”

Earlier in the holiday, the star posed for a stunning set of photographs while wearing a silver bikini.

Amanda was also snapped with her hubby Chris as the foursome enjoyed a slap-up dinner together.

She told her followers: “Date night ♥( except the girls are with us 😂♥) so… Date night with the girls #family.”

However, Amanda’s former Britain’s Got Talent co-star David Walliams was quick to take a brutal swipe at the loved-up couple.

Commenting on the photo, David quipped: “Mother and son. Lovely.”

The comedian and author’s remark attracted thousands of likes.

Luckily, Amanda saw the funny side as she responded to her pal’s comment with a laughing emoji.

Amanda’s husband Chris, 51, works as a record producer.

The couple met in Los Angeles in 2003 and they tied the knot five years later.

Chris rarely appears on social media, with him only making his Instagram debut last year.

Alongside a holiday snap in 2024, he had joked that he’d “finally made it onto the grid #reluctantly”.

Boy, 15, found dead in water after going missing while swimming at popular park is named

EMOTIONAL tributes have been paid to a boy, 15, who died after getting into difficulty while swimming.

Izaiah Smith vanished in Beckenham Place Park in Lewisham, London, just after 3pm yesterday.

Cops rushed to the park after he got into difficulty in the water and launched a desperate search.

The London Fire Brigade, Met Police, an NHS incident response vehicle, and a police helicopter swarmed the area.

Specialist teams recovered his body at around 10.40pm later that day.

The teen was taken to hospital where he was tragically pronounced dead.

Devastated friends of the talented footballer have now paid a heartbreaking tribute to him.

Leaving flowers at the scene today, one pal said: “He was always smiling, always.

“He was so outgoing and sociable too.

“Thats why this is so unexpected he’s just not the kind of person you would expect this to happen to.

“This was his first time at the lake, we came down after school.”

Another friend added: “He was really good at football, he was a winger and striker – he was so fast.”

Cops are treating his death as “unexpected” but “not believed to be suspicious”.

A dog walker, whose home backs on to the park where the incident occurred, claimed: “He’ll be a local boy but I don’t know him, it’s so sad, it was the first day of the school holidays.

“They ought to close this lake down, this is the second time something like this has happened.

“Before a two year old got stuck in the mud and almost drowned, he didn’t die though.

“It’s really deep and it’s so dangerous, the water is so cold.

“When I saw all the helicopters I thought someone had been stabbed but then the news came out about this.

“It’s just such a shame, it makes me worried for my grandchildren, it wasn’t this dangerous when we were young.”

Another local said: “It’s only open at certain times and it is generally very safe, but it isn’t always open.”

Police have now left the scene and security guards have closed the gates to the lake and are preventing members of the public from going into the area.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “Met Police has suspended a search for a 15-year-old boy at Beckenham Place Park, following the discovery of a body.

“Officers were called to the park shortly after 15:00hrs on Friday, 4 April following reports of a boy going missing after getting into difficulty in the water.

“Specialist diving teams were in attendance alongside the London Ambulance Service and London Fire Brigade.

“A boy was recovered from the lake at around 22:42hrs on Friday, 4 April.

“He was taken to hospital where he was sadly pronounced dead. His death is being treated as unexpected but not believed to be suspicious.

“His family are aware and continue to receive support.”

I absolutely HATE having 34G boobs – they only make ugly granny bras in my size… I cried when I tried them on

A WOMAN with a 34G bust has admitted she “absolutely hates” having a bigger chest.

Katie said she hasn’t been measured for years, and the last time she was, she was a 34DD.

Katie took to her TikTok page to bemoan her 34G boobs, as she revealed she was left in tears after learning her bra size

She admitted she couldn’t see “the benefit” to having a larger chest, as she gets extreme back pain too

But as the bras she’s tried on in that size recently have been feeling a bit snug, she decided to go to her local Marks & Spencer to see if it was still correct.

However, when she was measured, she was stunned to find out she’s actually a 34G.

“I cried,” Katie admitted in a video on her TikTok page.

“Not with the bra fitting woman there, but I cried in the changing room.

“I’ve just spent £70 on two bras and a sports bra that actually fit me.

“Do I like either of them? No. Are they ugly? Yes. Do they look like granny bras? Yes.

“Did I try and find the cutest possible ones there were? Yes.

“And I f**king hate them!”

Katie struggled to hold back her tears as she admitted she feels “like an idiot” for crying over something many people would deem “minor”.

But she said there are other downsides to having big boobs too.

“I get back pain, I never find clothes that fit me, I always look bigger than I actually am,” she sighed.

“I hate them.

“And also I’m having to spend £70 on bras I don’t even want!”

Katie went on to insist that if she had the money to do so, she’d get a reduction, as she can’t see the “benefit” of a larger bust.

“If I could transplant them, and give half of mine to somebody else, trust me I would,” she concluded.

Sharing the video on TikTok, Katie captioned it: “I can’t be the only one who hates them!”

5 clothing mistakes women with big boobs make

Do you have DD+ boobs and struggle to find clothes that fit?

Fabulous’ Fashion Editor Clemmie Fieldsend has shared her top tips on clothes to avoid if you have a big bust.

1. Say no to the polo

High necklines such a roll necks are to be avoided if you have a fuller bust.  Closed chests and necks make your boobs appear bigger and can sometimes give you the dreaded uni-boob.

Try wearing V-necks, sweetheart, off the shoulder or scooped necklines that elongate the look of your neck and decolletage.

2. Bigger isn’t better

Frills, draping and excess fabric to cover your boobs only makes them look bigger.  They make you look too top heavy and add unnecessary bulk on your top half which distracts from your face.

Instead keep things clean and simple with sleek fabrics and designs with open necklines.

3. Skip slogan tees

Slogan or printed T-shirts are having a moment with fashion fans falling over themselves to get Ganni Tees, or their high street dupes.

The key is to make sure you’re not buying a top with thick, heavy paint plastered on as the print. These will stretch over your fuller chests and split, resulting in a messy look and a ruined T-shirt that’s now a waste of money.

4. Avoid crop tops

Tops that are shorter in length or crop tops should be swerved if you had a big chest. You’ll find you spend most of your time pulling it down and also it messes with the proportions of your body.

If you have a big bust and a crop top on, they cut you off in the middle, which makes your bust look even bigger and in worse cases give the illusion that your chest meets your waist.

A longer top (including anything from a T-shirt to a jumper) will create the right proportions.

5. Body-wrong

Straight or tight fitted dresses are brilliant at showing off your figure.  However if you have a big bust that isn’t in proportion with the rest of your shape they’re a no-go.

If you have a fuller bust you can create balance and a defined hourglass silhouette by wearing A-line dresses or skirts.

“Get a reduction,” one person commented on the clip.

“Best thing I ever did! I was a 34HH.”

To which Katie replied: “Saving for one cus I need it!!!”

“I’ve just had a reduction and it’s the best decision ever!” another wrote.

“Please hassle your GP and let them hear your issues!!!”

“I’m also a G, literally hate them,” a third sighed.

“If I wear a hoodie or a T-shirt I look about 20 stone.

“And I can’t wear a nice top without looking like I should be standing in a red light window.”

“Literally saving for a lift and minor reduction,” someone else commented

“Being a 32GG most of my life is soo annoying!”

“I think I need to start saving cos they’re only getting bigger,” Katie responded.
