Charlotte Crosby breaks her silence on horrific armed robbery as she reveals huge change to TV show
CHARLOTTE Crosby has broken her silence on the terrifying armed robbery that saw a machete-wielding person enter her home.
The pregnant Geordie Shore legend was left terrified by the home invasion and has now put the Sunderland mansion she’s lived in for 10 years up for sale.
Charlotte Crosby’s new show airs in March[/caption]The ordeal will feature in her upcoming reality show, Geordie Stories: Charlotte’s New Baby, on Paramount +.
Speaking to the Mail, Charlotte said: “There’s lots of things that have happened over the past few months that are quite heavily featured, which I’ve never spoken about at all, because obviously it’s police matters.
“But the burglary, everything like that, the show was there.
“So there’s lots – there’s so much in every single episode and there’s only four episodes.”
Charlotte has now reconsidered the amount she will show off her home – both old and new – in her TV work.
Her £1.4m mansion has been shown prominently on her socials and TV shows in the past but now that her family is growing, she and fiancé Jake Ankers wants to protect their young children as best they can.
The home, which was built in 2015, was broken into by masked robbers in November.
It happened while Charlotte was upstairs with her young daughter, Alba, two.
The property remains an attractive proposition for potential buyers though.
An advert reads: “Nestled behind private gates, this extraordinary property has been meticulously transformed with a stunning contemporary design and luxurious finishes.
“Spanning three beautifully light-filled floors, this impressive home offers spacious and well-proportioned accommodation, perfect for modern family living.”
BREAK-IN HELL
Charlotte’s fiancé Jake said he tried to chase the four robbers, who were armed with a machete.
Writing on Instagram at the time, Jake said: “I can’t believe I’m saying this but some little c***s have tried to rob my house with my two-year-old and my partner who is nearly eight months pregnant, armed with a machete.
“One of them who was in the house at the top of the stairs had a red balaclava on.
“He is the one that had the machete. Me little girl’s in the house. Me partner’s in the house,” Jake added.
A new trailer for Charlotte’s new show was released today ahead of the series launch on March 4.
In it, she breaks down in tears as she reads a letter to her unborn child.
She describes her partner as a ‘knight’ and likens her life to a fairytale.
Charlotte Crosby and Jake Anker's relationship timeline
The pair met back in 2021 while Charlotte was getting over her break-up with ex-boyfriend Liam Beaumont.
They were introduced by mutual friends.
Charlotte and Jake then went official with their relationship in January 2022.
The following month the Geordie Shore star found out she was pregnant.
Charlotte and Jake revealed they were expecting in April 2022.
They welcomed baby Alba-Jean into the world in October that year.
In November 2023 the couple got engaged.
Real Madrid ‘to go all out to sign Enzo Fernandez with Chelsea set to be offered sensational swap transfer’
REAL MADRID are reportedly ready to offer an £86million first-team star in a sensational swap deal for Chelsea vice-captain Enzo Fernandez.
The Argentine World Cup winner has emerged as a key man for the Blues this season, two years after a record £106million move from Benfica.
Real Madrid are lining up a mega swap deal for Chelsea star Enzo Fernandez[/caption]Fernandez already has three league goals this season, as many as he managed in his previous 18 months at Stamford Bridge.
But reports suggest the midfield ace is unsettled at Chelsea.
And DSports claims Fernandez has now emerged as a target for Real Madrid.
The Spanish champs are said to be huge fans of Enzo Maresca’s vice-skipper.
Real feel they are lacking in creative midfield areas this season following Toni Kroos’ surprise retirement.
And with Luka Modric possibly exiting ahead of his 40th birthday in September, Fernandez would be an ideal signing.
However, he is tied down to Chelsea until 2032 on a mega-contract worth £180,000-a-week.
It means Real would need to pay a pretty penny for Fernandez’s signature.
And Carlo Ancelotti is ready to soften the blow by offering a player in exchange, with Frenchman Aurelian Tchouameni set to be sacrificed.
The versatile holding midfielder was an £86m purchase from Monaco in 2022.
He’s since gone on to make 114 appearances while winning a LaLiga title and Champions League.
But nearly half of Tchouameni’s games this season have come at centre-back.
He is reportedly unhappy with his lack of chances further up the pitch and is looking for an exit before deadline day.
Chelsea could apparently be tempted to accept Real’s offer, which would see them rake in some cash for a new winger while also bolstering their squad with a player of Tchouameni’s quality.
Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho has been strongly linked with a move to Stamford Bridge.
It’s reckoned he could cost as much as £60m, although Napoli are also thought to be in talks with the ace.
Driver, 48, arrested after two girls, 8, killed & 15 hurt when Land Rover ploughed into primary school pupils
COPS have arrested a driver after two eight-year-old girls were killed and 15 pupils hurt when a Land Rover ploughed into a primary school.
Nuria Sajjad and Selena Lau both died after the tragedy at The Study Prep School, in Wimbledon, South West London on July 6, 2023.
Cops have arrested the driver[/caption] Selena Lau was killed in the horror[/caption] Nuria Sajjad lost her life in the tragedy[/caption]The Metropolitan Police have now arrested the female driver, 48, on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
She remains in custody while investigations continue.
This is the second time the driver has been arrested since the horror, after she was previously arrested at the scene.
A Met Police spokesperson said: “Detectives investigating the fatal collision at the Study Prep School in Wimbledon in July 2023 have arrested the driver as part of their ongoing investigation, as they appeal for further potential witnesses to come forward.
“The 48-year-old female driver was arrested today, Tuesday 28 January, on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and is currently in custody. This is the second time she has been arrested for this offence, the first time being at the scene of the collision on 6 July 2023.
“Nuria Sajjad and Selena Lau – both eight years old – died when a car crashed through a fence and collided with a building at the school.
“An initial investigation by the Roads and Transport Policing Command (RTPC) resulted in a direction from the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) in June 2024 that the driver should face no further action.
“After concerns were raised by the families of Nuria and Selena regarding this outcome, it was agreed the Specialist Crime Review Group (SCRG) would carry out a review of the investigation. That review identified lines of enquiry which required further examination.
“In October the investigation was moved to the Specialist Crime Command, under Detective Superintendent Lewis Basford. He leads a team who have since been pursuing new lines of enquiry identified by the review.”
Detective Superintendent Basford added: “I would like to take this opportunity to appeal to any witnesses or individuals with information who are yet to speak to police to please come forward.
“Were you attending the local golf course or driving in or around the area of the Study Prep School in Wimbledon at the time of the collision? Did you see the vehicle – a distinctive gold Land Rover Defender – in the lead up to the collision? We believe there were people in the local area who have not been spoken to by police and remain unidentified. I would ask those individuals to please contact us.
“Our main priority is to ensure the lines of enquiry identified by the review are progressed. This is a live investigation and in order to maintain its integrity I can’t go into further detail at this stage. I would urge people to avoid speculation.”
