All Stars fans spot secret feud bubbling under in the villa – and it’s NOT Scott vs Luca

LOVE Island viewers claim to have spotted a secret feud in the villa bubbling away under the surface.

Last night tempers flared between Scott Thomas and Luca Bish with their co-stars forced to keep them apart in one particularly brutal game.

But there’s another potential clash looming, according to eagle-eyed fans who believe Casey O’Gorman and Ron Hall have unfinished business.

When the pair appeared together in the winter edition of 2023 Ron ended up winning out in the battle for makeup artist Lana Jenkins.

They went on to finish as runners-up and had an out of villa romance.

Viewers feel Casey still hasn’t got over it and has been making subtle digs about Ron to his co-stars ever since his arrival last week.

One wrote on X: “Casey has been on Ron’s back ever since Ron stole Lana from him he’s defo the one pulling the strings making the guys treat Ron like that.”

Another said: “Casey had a problem with Ron since he took Lana from him.”

A third wrote: “Casey still hates Ron over the Lana situation….he’s made so many digs at him since he’s been there lol.”

A fourth said: “Casey is beaming that Ron is getting sh*t on – Casey needs to be removed from the villa. He’s bad vibes in every way.”

However, Casey’s best pal Tom Clare insists the pair get on out of the villa but are super competitive.

Speaking exclusively to us, All Stars series one winner Tom said: “Him and Casey are pretty competitive, but I think it’s good to have that maybe.

“When I used to live with Casey, when we were playing tennis or something, I’d always want to beat him. I’d cheat to beat him.

“He’s the exact same, we’re so competitive.

“But obviously like with any man, you don’t want to be disrespected.

“So yeah, I think if it’s fair and respectable, then no, Casey’s not that type of guy to fall out with lads over a girl.

“That’s not who we are. He’s a very respectable person, so I think if guys go about it in a respectable manner, then there shouldn’t be an issue. “But like I said, a lot can happen in that place. A lot of tensions can fly so you literally never, ever know what’s going to happen.”

What happened with Love Island's Lana Jenkins and Ron Hall?

Ron and Lana quickly became villa sweethearts back in 2023, but as is often the case, they hit some obstacles that threatened to derail things.

It looked like the writing was on the wall when Casey arrived as a bombshell and immediately set about getting to know Lana better.

And he gained the advantage when Lana decided to couple up with him in a move that shocked the villa.

However, Lana soon realised she was pining for Ron who made an effort to win her back in the days that followed.

Little over a week later they reunited, prompting fans to claim it was turning into the Ron and Lana show.

Their split came just three months after leaving the villa.

As is often the way, long distance proved too much to overcome with the Manchester to Essex commute not ideal for a fledgling relationship.

After it came to an end, Ron told us: “I will never do a dating show again, I will never have a relationship in the public eye again because I think it ruins it.

“It played a part in mine and Lana’s relationship.

“I think relationship programmes are quite forced and it doesn’t happen naturally, it’s great and it works.

“It worked for me because I didn’t expect to fall in love. But I think sometimes it can play with peoples feelings too much.”

DEEPSEEK is a Chinese AI app which is taking the Apple and Google Play stores by storm.

The AI start-up’s rapid rise has sent waves through tech spaces, as it marks a big shift in the market’s status quo.

DeepSeek’s rapid rise

DeepSeek was founded in 2023 by Liang Wenfeng, the chief of AI-driven quant hedge fund High-Flyer.

The software that the company creates is open source, which means it can be accessed and improved by anyone.

As the software is open source, it has rocked the world’s expectation that China would keep the secrets of their AI technology quiet.

It has also caused waves in Silicon Valley, which is often considered to be in a global AI arms race with China.

On January 25, 2025, DeepSeek became the highest-rated app on the US app store surpassing ChatGPT.

Chat GPT is now in second place.

Venture capitalist Marc Andreessen described DeepSeek as “one of the most amazing and impressive breakthroughs I’ve ever seen”.

Love for the app

DeepSeek is free to download on the app store and there is no subscription fee to continue using the app.

Fans of DeepSeek particularly enjoy the fact that it breaks down the AI’s thought process clearly, unlike its competitors.

It is thought that this process makes fact checking much easier, as it is easy to see how the AI came to its conclusion.

AI and the world

The release of the app comes after Donald Trump vowed to make the US into the “world capital of artificial intelligence and crypto”.

Trump was thwarted in his first efforts to do this though by “first buddy” Elon Musk, who bashed the president’s $500 billion AI deal

AI has been a controversial topic across the world, as experts grapple with the fact that it is difficult to control and the idea that it could replace high-skill jobs and people.

Love Island’s Luca dropped clue to secret feud with Scott Thomas BEFORE squaring up to each other – did you spot it?

LOVE Island star Luca Bish dropped a clue about his secret feud with Scott Thomas before they squared up to each other.

A furious Scott, 36, was seen squaring up to his villa friend, 25, as a fiery row erupted.

It all kicked off during a game of truth or dare, as the Islanders enjoyed a Las Vegas themed evening.

It started when Scott said he had a truth he wanted to as Grace – who Luca is coupled up with – but said he “didn’t want to say” it aloud.

The row then escalated further and the other Islanders were forced to step in, and the group tried to continue playing after the first row, but things took a turn for the worst when Luca was dared to kiss who is in here for fame.

But viewers have noticed that Luca had called Scott “vanilla” repeatedly before their feud, hinting that something wasn’t quite right between them.

While Scott had said that Luca reminded him of his younger self, Luca called Scott vanilla during a challenge in what appeared to be a dig at the star.

After witnessing the tense feud on the show during the sash challenge, one social media user wrote: “Luca has actually been digging at Scott this whole series tbh. How has no one else seen that?

“I would’ve cracked too if I was Scott. Luca had it coming.”

A second person penned: “Because Luca kept provoking Scott, you could see Luca boiling and ready to go for Scott at any moment.”

Someone else wrote: “Not sure why people are surprised that Scott finally reacted after how Luca has been.”

And someone else echoed: “Luca has called Scott vanilla repeatedly.”

In the scenes that played out, Luca kissed Scott on the cheek and said he thinks he wants to get far in the villa, adding “that’s why you’re with Tina and you’re not feeling it now”.

Tina looked horrified and asked for someone to explain – as she learnt the truth she walked away crying.

Furious, Scott squared up to Luca for the second time and asked: “This guy, who are you bro? Wow?”

The row came after Scott confided in the boys about how he was really feeling about Tina – who he is coupled up with.

And Scott’s brother Ryan Thomas has shared his thoughts on the feud too.

“I’m sorry Luca,” Ryan could be heard saying as he sat on the sofa watching Love Island on Sunday night.

“That’s a snakey move, that. That is a snakey move to do that publicly. I am so upset with him,” he fumed.

In the next slide, Ryan said: “This is horrible, you know.”

He then later added: “I’ll be honest, wasn’t very fair that from Luca.

“To do it publicly around a table like that, in front of all them people.”

THE top 40 outdoor pursuits Brits want to try in 2025 include foraging, stargazing, and wild swimming.

A poll of 2,000 adults revealed 64 per cent are motivated by a desire to reconnect with nature.

As such, natural world-inspired pursuits feature prominently in the list, with the likes of rockhounding – collecting rocks, minerals, and fossils, nature journaling, and wildlife photography all featuring.

Other popular wildlife-inspired pursuits for the year ahead include fishing, horseback riding, and swimming in natural pools.

Along with hiking, cycling, zip-lining, and archery, and running or trail running, cross-country road trips, beachcombing, and outdoor yoga.

Kristian Cholmondley, managing director of Jeep UK, makers of the Avenger Electric, which commissioned the research, said: “It’s clear Brits are increasingly seeking ways to reconnect with nature, which speaks to our fundamental need to escape the digital world and embrace the physical world around us.

“The research highlights how much people value outdoor activities that not only offer the opportunity to experience freedom and adventure, but also to improve mental health and wellbeing.”

The study also found 77 per cent of adults are ‘likely’ to try one or more outdoor pursuits during the coming months – and they’d be willing to travel an average of 39 miles to do so.

It emerged 81 per cent are ‘particularly’ interested in outdoor pursuits which are nature orientated.

With other motivations for getting out and about including to relax (50 per cent), to boost or maintain mental health (43 per cent), and to get fitter or maintain fitness (38 per cent).

But enjoying the great outdoors comes with some challenges – including lack of time (37 per cent), the cost of travel (28 per cent), and lack of confidence (28 per cent).

Despite this, those polled manage to spend an average of five hours and 15 minutes outside for leisure each week.

Carried out through OnePoll, the research also identified the biggest priorities among motorists should they invest in a car designed for rural roads, with price (45 per cent) coming top.

Other ‘musts’ include reliability (44 per cent), comfort for long drives (23 per cent), and safety features (23 per cent).

Jeep UK’s Kristian Cholmondley added: “The focus on reliability, comfort, and safety speaks to the kinds of experiences people are looking to have in the wild.

“Whether it’s a weekend getaway or a spontaneous outdoor adventure, the need for accessible, dependable transportation is at an all-time high.”

EastEnders sees Cindy Beale’s family on the brink of collapse in latest twist following shock attack

TONIGHT’S episode of EastEnders sees Cindy Beale’s family on the brink of collapse in the latest twist.

The long-running BBC One character was shockingly attacked on the Christmas Day special.

He dropped an extraordinary accusation onto Gina[/caption]

A whole list of suspects have been at the centre of attention as they might be the person behind the attempted murder.

On tonight’s episode, it was revealed that the police have decided to drop the charges against Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa).

They have ruled that there was not enough evidence against her, just as Cindy (Michelle Collins) received another death threat.

As she stayed with Reiss (Jonny Freeman), a mystery person threw a brick through the window with a menacing warning.

On EastEnders, the suspicion shifted to Junior Knight (Micah Balfour), who just wanted to go back to Dubai and be with his family.

However, Gina Knight (Francesca Henry) was feeling the pressure as she was behaving in an odd manner.

She was seen by her sister Anna (Molly Rainford) to be in a hushed and tense conversation with Harry Mitchell (Elijah Holloway).

He issued a threat, saying that if he didn’t get a mystery payment of money by the next day, he would put interest on the repayment.

However, Anna and Junior burst through the door of the Vic’s storage room to demand answers.

Junior then stunned the whole pub into silence when he ran back to the main bar to expose Gina.

All the other customers looked on as he stated: “It was Gina. Gina threw the brick through the window.”

Elaine (Harriet Thorpe) was behind the bar and her widened as her step-daughter was accused of trying to kill her own mother.

This was as Cindy stood still, seemingly in a mixture of both shock and disbelief as Ian’s jaw was left practically on the floor.

He added: “She’s the one that attacked Cindy.”

Who attacked Cindy Beale?

The Sun’s Soaps Editor Carl Greenwood runs down the suspects in the big EastEnders whodunnit

Anna Knight

Shall we just rule Anna out straight away?

The woman’s barely got enough about her to kill a fly, so the chances of her finally becoming worthy of being Cindy Beale’s daughter and bashing her over the head with a shovel are slim to none.

But she was watching out of the Queen Vic window so she may well know who did attack her mother.

Gina Knight

Fiery, recovering drug addict Gina is a good shout for shovel-ing her mother this Christmas.

She’s got the boxing skills of George and the temper of Cindy – so she definitely has the ability and will to take her mother down.

And she was seen sneaking out of the Vic just before Cindy was attacked.

Peter Beale

This Peter is a bit of a drip – he’s more Anna, than Gina, shall we say.

It’s hard to imagine him being able to pick up a shovel without mummy’s approval.

But having said that he was seen drowning his sorrows in tears shortly before the attack, so maybe he finally embraced his mum’s side?

Lauren Branning

Never before has a character failed to learn from her past mistakes more than Lauren.

Except Cindy obviously who appears doomed to repeat the affair cycle until the day she dies.

But Lauren’s ability to ruin Christmas is unrivalled – and it provoked explosive drama.

And it left her with a bag of pills in the car lot having lost her relationship, her family and her son – and it’s all Cindy’s fault.

So could Lauren be the one responsible?

Ian Beale

For a man whose Christmases have included the time he was nearly murdered by his wife with a killer carbonara, you’d think he’d have quite low threshold for bad days but this was something else.

Humiliated in public by a recording of Cindy saying he couldn’t satisfy her so much so she was sleeping with her former stepson, Ian didn’t have a happy Christmas.

He threw a drink over and then punched Junior, before rejecting Cindy and throwing her out onto the streets.

Last seen smashing up his own living room and storming out into the Square, he was certainly in the mood for killing Cindy.

But could he? Really?

Kathy Beale

There’s been no love lost between Kathy and Cindy since they both returned from the dead and a full-on brawl is well overdue.

But after everything that happened last Christmas, would Kathy really want to go through that again?

It’s a miracle she managed to get back into the Vic.

Elaine Peacock

The Queen Vic landlady’s scheme to get rid of Cindy once and for all backfired quite spectacularly.

She began Christmas Day convinced she was about to be rid of Cindy forever – but ended it single and alone.

Hearing George rage about Junior taking what was his pushed her over the edge and she kicked George out.

But did it push her enough to grab a shovel and try to kill Cindy?

George Knight

Cindy cost him everything.

He’s now homeless, job-less and son-less after Cindy’s affair was exposed and as a former professional boxer he’s capable of explosive rage.

He was seen working out his emotions on a punching bag, but maybe it didn’t work and maybe he needed Cindy to pay for what she’d done?

Junior Knight

The spurned lover, unwanted son, humiliated man… things aren’t looking good for Junior.

He fell for Cindy, hook, line and sinker, and worse, he fell for her lies.

Last seen trying to call Cindy after everything went down – did he want to find her to kill her or to seduce her again?

Fans were also in absolute shock as they took to social media in their droves.

Writing on X – formerly known as Twitter – one viewer exclaimed: “Gina & Harry was not on my bingo card.”

While second sceptic fan asked: “Gina did it??.”

Hidden sign your car is seconds away from costly breakdown – make key post-winter check and save yourself £100s

EXPERTS have revealed the hidden sign your car is on the verge of an eye-wateringly expensive breakdown.

Motors whizz Just Kampers have revealed new tricks to motorists to help prevent your car from letting you down as the winter chill continues to bite.

A motors expert has revealed the key sign your car could be on the verge of a costly breakdown[/caption]

The cold months can have a big impact on your vehicle’s battery.

Car batteries use a chemical process that produces and stores electricity.

But cold weather can affect this, slowing down the key part and stopping it from holding a charge.

With all of this done, it’s time to take a look at your battery and make sure it’s still in good shape.

“Some older VWs like the T2 Bay have a bit of an infamous habit of leaking battery acid, which then corrodes the battery tray located to the side of your engine,” the expert said.

“Gnarly blueish crystals forming on the terminals, or damaged metalwork under your battery, are a sign that your vehicle’s battery might be due a replacement.

“All automotive batteries have a fixed shelf life, so try to think when yours was last replaced and whether it might be nearing the time to consider a new one.

“Your vehicles battery is a fairly major component, and having it give out on you is a massive inconvenience, even if it is relatively simple to fix.

“If you’ve disconnected your VW’s battery because it’s been in storage for the winter, then it shouldn’t have lost too much juice since then.”

Scooping a fresh car battery can set you back hundreds of pounds.

Factors such as your car’s make and model, driving style, the size and shap can all impact the price point, but motorists can usually expect to fork out between £100 and £300 for a new one, according to ProTyre.

What you can do to check your battery

The RAC recommends charging your battery once a week if your car is regularly used for short trips throughout the winter.

Halford recommends cleaning the battery often and checking its water levels.

If battery plates are exposed, it means your water level is low and needs filling with distilled water.

If you want to check to make sure your battery is still running smoothly, you can do it yourself using a multimeter or you can take it to a local garage and have a professional take a look.

If you aren’t using your car often enough during the colder periods, sporadically turn your car on, just to make sure the battery is still running.

And it’s not just your battery you need to regularly check during the colder weather to avoid a breakdown.

The RAC uses the acronym FORCES, reminding drivers to keep check of their fuel, oil, rubber, electrics and screen wash.

Most drivers will have a pretty good idea of how much fuel they have left in the tank but check it daily to make sure you have enough for your journey.

Oil is commonly forgotten about and needs checking regularly.

Double-check the wear and tear of your tyres and wiper blades to make sure they’re ready for action.

Coolant levels need to be kept an eye on so the engine doesn’t freeze.

Make sure all lights are working, it’s hazardous to be on the road with any faulty lights.

No one wants a dirty screen, so keep your screenwash nice and topped up.

If you want extra tips for checking your car over the winter period, read our six top tips to avoid breaking down.

Driving in winter conditions isn’t always easy and cars need to be kept safe against snow and ice.

Map shows where Britain’s most dangerous drivers lurk with hotspot sparking hundreds of crashes – does your region rank?

AN INTERACTIVE tool showing where Britain’s most DANGEROUS drivers lurk has revealed the hotpot sparking hundred of crashes.

More than 5,700 crime reports of dangerous driving were logged by cops between 2022 to June 2024.

The areas with the country’s dangerous drivers has been revealed[/caption]

Data compiled by the Home Office found that Bradford is Britain’s drink driving epicentre[/caption]

New data from the Home Office includes 830 offences that caused a death or serious injury.

Since 2022, the number of crimes causing death or serious injury has increased by 12 per cent.

This has revealed Bradford to be ‘the dangerous driving capital’ of England and Wales with 1,039 driving offences.

Of those incidents, 39 resulted in a death or serious injury.

Nipping on its heels is the West Yorkshire borough of Calderdale which recorded 302 offences.

Bradford’s neighbour, Leeds, ranked third on the list.

Dangerous driving is used to describe a motorist’s actions falling “far below the minimum standard expected of a competent and careful driver”.

This means that they could not only be putting themselves at risk but also others.

From speeding to driving aggressively, those behind the wheel could be carrying out any number of risky behaviour.

These include overtaking dangerously, ignoring traffic lights, driving under the influence or when unfit to do so.

POTENTIAL LIMIT LASH

This comes amid reports that the drink-drive limit could be reduced for the first time in 60 years, with newly qualified drivers facing even harsher punishments.

New rules could see motorists judged as being over the drink-driving limit after just one pint, if the government takes on board police chiefs’ calls for changes to the law.

A report by the Daily Mail claims that the National Police Chiefs’ Council, the British Medical Association, and the Association of Police and Crime Commissioners want to cut the current alcohol limits for motorists.

The current limit, which was set in 1967, stands at 80 milligrams per 100ml of blood—roughly the equivalent of two pints of lager.

However, campaigners are now calling for the limit to be lowered, claiming that the number of drink-driving deaths has risen to 18 per cent of all road fatalities, according to new figures.

As a result, campaigners want to reduce the limit in EnglandWales, and Northern Ireland to 50mg per 100ml of blood—roughly one pint of medium-strength beer.

This would match the rules currently in place in Scotland, which already has tougher drink-drive limits of 50mg per 100ml of blood and 22mcg per 100ml of breath.

Jo Shiner, the Chief Constable of Sussex Police and the National Police Chiefs’ Council’s roads policing lead, said: “In policing, we see the damaging impact of drink and drug driving all too often, and every fatality or serious injury that happens as a consequence of this is completely avoidable.

Top ten most dangerous areas

  1. Bradford
  2. Calderdale
  3. Leeds
  4. Bolton
  5. Rochdale
  6. Wakefield
  7. Tameside
  8. Salford
  9. Kirklees
  10. Manchester

“Driving under the influence of drink or drugs will not be tolerated, and we support the BMA’s call for lowering the legal blood alcohol limit.

“In addition to our current powers, we will also continue to make the case for more effective legislation that enables faster interim disqualifications for those who fail roadside tests.”

Joy Allen and David Sidwick, the Association of Police and Crime Commissioners’ addictions and substance misuse leads, added: “Too many families have been devastated by the consequences of drink-driving, with around 300 people dying each year in collisions where a driver is over the limit.

“Even minimal alcohol consumption can significantly impair a driver’s judgement and their ability to react quickly.

“If we are to save lives and make our roads safer for everyone, we must convey the message that any amount of alcohol before driving is dangerous.”

Moreover, lobbyists from anti-alcohol pressure groups and the BMA, the doctors’ trade union, have joined the calls to lower the drink-driving limit.

The BMA also urged harsher limits on drivers who are within two years of passing their test, suggesting they be limited to a 20mg/100ml limit.

This would effectively prevent them from drinking at all before driving.

Dad who claimed he was ‘play-fighting’ with daughter, 14, when he stabbed her to death in kitchen is GUILTY of murder

A DAD who claimed he was “play-fighting” with his 14-year-old daughter when he stabbed her to death has been found guilty of murder.

Scarlett Vickers suffered catastrophic blood loss after the blade was plunged 11cm into her chest and pierced her heart.

Her dad Simon Vickers, 50, has been found guilty of murdering his teen daughter at their home in Darlington, Co Durham, on July 5.

The monster claimed he and Scarlett were just “messing about” when he accidentally threw the blade at her.

But Teesside Crown Court heard the 11cm wound was too deep to have been a tragic mistake.

The heartless dad also attempted to claim that he was the victim after his daughter died in a pool of blood on the kitchen floor.

After his arrest, Vickers told police: “That was it. We were horse-playing.

“I must be the unluckiest man in the world.”

Vickers claimed the playfight started when he and Scarlett began throwing grapes at each other while mum Sarah Hall made dinner.

He said he went to “try and get her” but his daughter tried to push him away so he grabbed the tongs and chucked them.

The dad continued: “She just shouted ‘ah, ah ah’ and fell to the floor.

“Her lips were going bluer and she wasn’t listening when I was shouting at her.

“Sarah took over and the ambulance came and, f***ing hell.”

Vickers described his only child as the “love of my life” and told police his world had “gone to s***”.

He also denied telling paramedics at the scene that he picked up a knife and that it “just went in” after Scarlett “lunged towards me”.

The dad added: “There is no way in the world I would stab my child. I threw those tongs at her.

“I want to die myself. My only child – I don’t know what to say. I can’t even cry. I don’t even know what’s wrong.”

The court heard the dad gave “three different accounts at least before his formal police interview” of what happened.

Prosecutor Mark McKone KC said Vickers must have stabbed his daughter “deliberately with the knife”.

He told jurors the injury inflicted to Scarlett “could not have been caused by throwing the knife or indeed by throwing anything else.”

During her evidence, Scarlett’s mum Sarah Hall said she believed it was an accident and her partner of 27 years would never harm their daughter.

Vickers, who denied murder, has been remanded into custody to be sentenced at a later date.
