Catherine and Omar’s split turns nasty as Love Island star takes another savage swipe at him after break up

LOVE Island breakups are never easy and it looks like Catherine Agbaje and Omar Nymae are proving just that.

The Sun revealed this week that they had split after their romance had “run its course” just a few weeks after leaving the villa.

The pair decided to call it quits this week[/caption]

And Catherine, 24, has now taken the move to delete traces of her ex from her social media.

Reality star Catherine has even gone as far as to rid her Instagram of a Love Island promo photo with Omar, 26.

It showed the pair in happier times as they prepared for the All Stars final.

The picture, which was on her Instagram grid up until yesterday, has now been deleted.

Omar now only makes an appearance in one group photo which is still on her social media.

Yesterday, Catherine took a savage swipe at him in a new video about “no second chances”.

In the short clip TikToker Bigbossvette talks about how she won’t take her man back, because if he’s done “f***ed up s**t” before, he’ll do it again”.

She then adds that her ex “better not come round” her again.

The fact that Catherine chose to repost this clip, suggests she doesn’t want anything more to do with Omar.

THE BREAK-UP

There had been speculation over the last few weeks that Catherine and Omar had broken up.

It came after they went social media silent on each other.

Their last public appearance together was at the All Stars wrap party, where they were seen laughing and chatting with fellow finalists.

After that, they kept a low profile regarding their relationship, fueling rumours of a break-up.

Yesterday, The Sun exclusively revealed the REAL reason why Catherine and Omar decided to split.

An insider told us: “They never reached ‘exclusive’/boyfriend-girlfriend stage so it just had run its course.”

GOING ON ALL STARS

Catherine and Omar knew each other before going on Love Island All Stars.

Although they appeared in different seasons of the ITV2 dating show, like most Islanders, they moved in the same social circles and had mutual friends in London.

Omar previously confessed to having his eye on Catherine before entering the villa, and made a beeline for her when he joined the show on Day 19.

During their time All Stars, the couple had a smooth run compared to some of the other Islanders, and made it to the grande finale where they came in fourth.

Just five weeks ago, Omar thanked to Catherine for getting him to the final.

Sharing loved up snaps, he wrote online: “From the deepest part of my heart I just wanna say thank you to everyone who’s supported my journey as well as Catherine’s because without her things wouldn’t be this way.

“I can’t wait to show you all more fun times ahead as we embark on this new journey in life!”

Sadly, it wasn’t meant to be and the Catherine and Omar are now single again – maybe they can try again on All Stars next year.

Love Island winners - where they are now

EVERY year Love Island opens its doors to more sexy Islanders who are hoping for a holiday romance that could turn into more.

2016Nathan Massey and Cara De La Hoyde were together from the start of the series, and since they won the show they’ve had two kids and are married. STATUS: Still together.

2015 – Despite poor Jess Hayes being Max Morley’s second choice on the show, they did win – but they didn’t last as a couple. STATUS: Broken up.

Real reason Corrie’s Jack P Shepherd agreed to do Celebrity Big Brother – despite shunning reality TV for years

JACK P Shepherd agreed to take part in Celebrity Big Brother to help pay for his upcoming wedding.

The actor, 37, will be tying the knot to Hanni Treweek in just four months time after popping the question in 2024 on safari in Africa.

And after years of rejecting the idea of reality TV, Jack finally decided to take the plunge after being offered an impressive pay cheque.

The star is thought to make £250k a year playing David Platt, but the extra cash is said to be very much welcome after seeing Hanni’s plans.

An insider said: “Jack and Hanni are pulling out all the stops for their big day.

“They are incredibly in love and want their day to really represent them as they celebrate with friends and family.

“Hanni is known for being very stylish and they’ve not skimped on things for the wedding to make sure it’s all perfect.

“Jack makes good money but it’s no secret that the CBB money is a draw for anyone, especially if you are planning a big event.”

On Monday night Jack will be entering the house alongside Mickey Rourke, Ella Rae Wise and JoJo Siwa.

Hanni – who first met Jack while she was working on Corrie – previously told fans they had set their wedding date, writing: “26th July 2025 we become Mr & Mrs Shepherd!!”

And as it hit April, the influencer admitted she couldn’t believe they would be marrying so soon.

The couple first met when Hanni worked for the soap in the press office.

At first, whilst the pair only knew of each other to say “hello” too, an encounter at a wedding for a mutual friend sparked their romance.

Speaking in 2020, Jack revealed: “Then our mutual friends got married and we were both guests at the wedding.

“We got chatting, I made Hanni laugh, we had a couple of drinks and we flirted. That was it.”

Jack previously admitted he had clashed with Hanni when he realised he would have to fork out for matching outfits for his niece and nephews.

Speaking on his podcast back in February, he said: “We have actually had the first argument of the wedding. So everything before this, it’s been, ‘We’re agreeing on everything.'”

“I didn’t know that, as the bride and groom, you have to pay for all their suits and costumes.

“What do kids do at weddings? They f*** up their suits. They do the Peter Kay knee slide, so you have to pay for them.

“My brother’s got four kids, my sister’s got four kids, plus there’s my two, so there’s 10 children.”

He added that working out the cost, he told her: “I was like I’m not doing it, I can’t do it, I don’t like them that much.

“We had a bit of a do but we’ve sorted it out. It’s the first disagreement.

“She was saying we have to but I said there’s too many of them.”

In the end, Jack revealed that his family had all agreed to buy their own clothes for the kids – saving him some money.

The Sun has contacted Jack’s rep for comment.

Major UK airport’s multi-billion-pound expansion is APPROVED as government overrules woke green fears

HOLIDAYMAKERS have scored a huge win as ministers waved through Luton Airport’s expansion – brushing aside green grumbles from planning bosses.

The London hub got the thumbs-up to build a new terminal, nearly doubling passengers from 18 million to a bumper 32 million a year by 2040.

Transport Secretary Louise Haigh defied warnings from planning inspectors about harming the peaceful Chiltern countryside and chopping down a historic veteran tree.

A Government source said: “The Transport Secretary has approved the expansion of Luton Airport for its benefits to Luton and the wider UK economy.

“The decision goes against the Planning Inspectorate’s recommendation for refusal. Expansion will deliver huge growth benefits for Luton with thousands of good, new jobs and a cash boost for the local council which owns the airport.

“This is the 14th Development Consent Order approved by this Labour government, demonstrating we will stop at nothing to deliver economic growth and new infrastructure as part of our Plan for Change.”

Beauty Pie review UK: I tested 7 bestsellers from the popular subscription service

AS someone who takes skincare and makeup seriously, I’m not one to introduce new products to my routine without good reason.

But after hearing great things about Beauty Pie, I was excited to test out its range.

Woman holding body wash, hand cream, and face oil.

In a world of beauty brands claiming how great their products are, it can be hard to know what to spend your hard-earned money on.

Beauty Pie is an online haven of all things skincare, makeup and haircare, that offers a wide range of cruelty-free products to suit different needs.

With different collections that target specific areas, from Super Healthy Skin and Super Healthy Hair to Youthbomb and Happy Face, Beauty Pie’s considered approach to its range makes it feel like you’re in safe hands.

Offering an optional skincare quiz, you simply have to answer five questions relating to your age, skin type, and current routine and then your results are generated.

Beauty Pie will then recommend specific products based on your answers, making shopping seamless and easy, especially if you’re newer to the world of skincare.

In a world where everything seems to be getting more expensive, I was initially unsure of the membership model.

However, I think Beauty Pie is onto something, and the key to it all is amazing products, some of which I’ve reviewed below.

How I tested Beauty Pie products

I tested a selection of popular Beauty Pie items, across different beauty categories, over several weeks.

During the testing period, I considered first impressions of each product, the packaging, and how well the product worked on my skin/body.

I also evaluated the consistency, smell and texture of items I tried and how much I enjoyed using them.

Beauty Pie review: individual product reviews

  • All products are 100% cruelty-free
  • Wide range of products across skincare, beauty and haircare
  • Two membership options of £29 per year or £59 per year

1. Super Healthy Skin Deluxe Body Moisturiser Crème

Beauty Pie Super Healthy Skin Deluxe Body Moisture Crème.
Super Healthy Skin Deluxe Body Moisturiser Crème 250ml

Super Healthy Skin Deluxe Body Moisturiser Crème, £19 for members

Pros: Smells amazing, light but luxurious texture, absorbs quickly without leaving residue

Cons: None

Rating: 10/10

I cannot begin to express how obsessed I am with this body cream.

I have always had quite sensitive skin and suffered badly with eczema when I was younger, so I’m quite cautious about body creams, especially ones containing fragrance.

When I first tried the Super Healthy Skin Deluxe Body Moisturiser Crème, I was immediately impressed with the luxurious texture, the ease with which it absorbed into my skin and the heavenly scent.

It didn’t cause any irritation (although if you do have a skin condition, please always be cautious), nor did it dry it out.

The light, refreshing but still warming fragrance comes from essential oils of orange, geranium and tonka bean, while the liquid shea butter and hibiscus flower and meadowfoam oils leave your skin soft, supple and hydrated,

I can’t give this body cream enough praise, and would absolutely recommend it to anyone.

In my opinion, it is worth every penny at £19 for members (£32 for non-members) and is honestly reason enough to sign up for the Beauty Pie membership.

Size: 250ml, How to use: ‎On clean skin, smooth on and use circular massaging motions to increase absorption, SPF: None, Main ingredients: Cold pressed Hibiscus Flower and Meadowfoam Oils, Liquid Shea Butter and Essential Oils of Orange, Geranium and Tonka Bean.

2. Super Healthy Skin Moisturizing Shea Butter Suds Body Wash

Beauty Pie Super Healthy Skin moisturizing body wash.
Super Healthy Skin Moisturizing Shea Butter Suds Body Wash 500ml

Super Healthy Skin Moisturizing Shea Butter Suds Body Wash, £10 for members

Pros: Smells amazing, super nourishing, lathers nicely without stripping skin

Cons: None

Rating: 10/10

I began using the Super Healthy Skin Deluxe Body Moisturiser Crème before this body wash and after a few days I became obsessed, which made me RUN to try the body wash too.

The Super Healthy Skin Moisturizing Shea Butter Suds Body Wash is the perfect in-shower product to elevate what can be a mundane everyday requirement.

Like the body cream, it has a gorgeous light citrus scent that offers sweet, warm notes which are heavenly in a hot shower.

The creamy texture lathers up nicely under water and leaves your skin feeling clean and nourished, rather than dry and stripped like many other body washes.

I use this every day and follow up with the body cream and my skin has been thanking me; I also smell great, if I do say so myself!

Size: 500ml, How to use: Massage onto dry skin before showering and then run under water, rubbing in circles until soft foam forms and rinse off, SPF: None, Main ingredients: 9% Sweet Almond Oil, Aloe Vera, Glycerin, Lemon Butter, Coconut Oil and Shea Butter suds.

3. Triple Beauty Perfect Glowy Powder

Compact powder with mirror.
Triple Beauty Perfect Glowy Powder 8g

Triple Beauty Perfect Glowy Powder, £12.50 for members

Pros: Easy to blend, lightweight, not glittery

Cons: None

Rating: 10/10

Highlighters have been a fan favourite for a long time now, and with different dewy formulations, powder highlights seem to have become an oft-maligned product.

I do like a glow, but I’m not wild about intense highlighters which means a light powder is perfect for me, and I absolutely love Beauty Pie’s version.

The Triple Beauty Perfect Glowy Powder offers a subtle but buildable glow that enhances the high points of the face.

It’s not overly glittery (glitter highlight is a definite no for me) and it delivers a gorgeous warm pop without looking stark.

It’s really lightweight and doesn’t sit on top of your make-up, as its blendability means it seamlessly fits into any make-up look.

I prefer to go on the more natural side with base makeup, so this soft highlight powder is great for my everyday routine.

Size: 8g, How to use: Use an angled highlighter brush or a fluffy tapered brush to sweep the highlighter powder along the high-points of the cheekbones, and brow bone. Brush across the bridge of the nose and over the Cupid’s bow, SPF: N/A, Main Ingredients: Fatty Acids, Amino Acids, Extra pure pigments

4. Keep This 4-Shade Eyeshadow Palette (Smoky Plum)

Hand holding open Beauty Pie eyeshadow palette with four shades and a small brush.
Keep This 4-Shade Eyeshadow Palette (Smoky Plum) 6.5g

Keep This 4-Shade Eyeshadow Palette (Smoky Plum), £22 for members

Pros: Stunning colours, good pigment, long wearing

Cons: None

Rating: 10/10

I love an eyeshadow. I always have and always will.

Despite having slightly hooded eyelids, it’s never stopped me from sweeping on a little something every day. It’s a step I’ll rarely miss as I think I look tired without it.

I have hazel eyes that look plain brown in the dark but golden in the light so I’m always looking for purple-toned eye products to bring out the warmer tones of my eyes, and this shadow has been a real treat.

The Keep This 4-Shade Eyeshadow Palette in Smoky Plum is absolutely gorgeous. The quad of four features two shimmery finish pigments, and two matte finish shades, perfect for combining to create the perfect smoky eye.

The great thing about this palette is that it’s really easy to build up the colour, meaning you can go subtle and do a light wash of the matte sepia tone, or you can double up on the shimmer and go all out.

The pigment is impressive without being hard to blend, and it lasts really well with a primer or just a set powder as a base.

Size: 6.5g, How to use: Apply to eyelids and blend as desired, SPF: N/A, Highlights: No preservatives, No talc

Super Healthy Hair Always On Leave-In Conditioning Treatment

Hand holding Beauty Pie Super Healthy Hair leave-in conditioning treatment spray.
Super Healthy Hair Always On Leave-In Conditioning Treatment 150ml

Super Healthy Hair Always On Leave-In Conditioning Treatment, £12 for members

Pros: Smells gorgeous, leaves hair silky smooth without residue, easy to use

Cons: None

Rating: 10/10

Just like the body iteration of the Super Healthy range, the Super Healthy Hair Always On Leave-In Conditioning Treatment smells heavenly.

I am totally obsessed with the scent in this collection and that’s before I start talking about the results of the product itself.

Designed to play the final part in your hair routine, this ultra-light leave-in conditioning spray is perfect for leaving hair shiny, soft and hydrated.

My hair gets knotted after washing but this was great for helping to detangle, and my hair dried so much more smoothly than normal.

After just one use my hair looked healthier, shinier and more nourished, and although it was silky smooth, my hair still held a curl (although I did use a little extra hairspray just in case).

It’s the first haircare product I’ve tried from Beauty Pie, but if this is anything to go by then I’m definitely in the market for trying more.

Size: 150ml, How to use: Mist through mid-lengths and ends of clean, towel-dried hair, SPF: N/A, Main ingredients: Vegan Keratin Complex and a Tri-Vitamin Blend

Superdrops Brightening Niacinamide (10%)

Hand holding Beauty Pie Superdrops brightening serum bottle.
Superdrops Brightening Niacinamide (10%) 30ml

Superdrops Brightening Niacinamide (10%), £15 for members

Pros: Nice formulation that isn’t too runny, makes skin feel firm

Cons: Little bit of a sticky residue, I haven’t seen a huge difference in skin brightness

Rating: 7/10

Niacinamide is a skincare ingredient that really seems to be having a moment in the spotlight recently, and for good reason.

Known for its hydrating, smoothing and brightening effects, it’s a great one to incorporate into your routine if you’re looking to achieve a glow.

I really like Beauty Pie’s Superdrops Brightening Niacinamide (10%) as the formulation is so lovely to use. It’s not too runny meaning it can be applied to skin easily.

Immediately after applying it makes my skin feel firm and smooth, however I haven’t seen a huge difference in skin brightness.

That said, I do have hyper-pigmentation and a lot of freckles so don’t often see remarkable results from products relating to brightness.

It’s a lovely, easy-to-use product I really enjoyed incorporating into my night routine, but I did find when I used it in the morning, layered with moisturiser and makeup, there was a bit of a sticky residue.

It’s definitely one I’d recommend, especially in the colder months with less sunlight; and at just £15 for members it’s a steal!

Size: 30ml, How to use: Each morning and/or evening, massage 5-6 drops onto a clean face and neck. Follow with serum, moisturiser and/or SPF, SPF: None, Main ingredients: 10% Niacinamide, Oxygeskin and Evermat.

Plantastic Magic Mandarin Hand Cream

Hand cream tube in a hand.
Plantastic Magic Mandarin Hand Cream 75ml

Plantastic Magic Mandarin Hand Cream, £12 for members

Pros: Perfect size for taking on the go, absorbs really easily into skin

Cons: The mandarin and lime scent is a little too strong for me

Rating: 7/10

I love a hand cream and have a few on my bedside table at any given time, but it can be tricky to find the perfect one.

The Plantastic Magic Mandarin Hand Cream is super hydrating with a blend of shea butter, niacinamide and meadowfoam oil all working together to leave hands feeling thoroughly nourished.

It’s the perfect size for chucking in your bag and taking with you, and it doesn’t leave a horrible slimy coating once absorbed, which gets a big thumbs up from me.

The only thing I’m not super wild about is the scent. I am obsessed with the majority of Beauty Pie’s fragrance blends, however the mandarin, lime, geranium and rosemary combination for me is a little too intense – although it does settle quite quickly.

Size: 75ml, How to use: Massage into clean dry hands, SPF: None, Main ingredients: Niacinamide, Glycerin, Shea Butter, Meadowfoam Oil, Mandarin Oil, Bergamot, Lime, Geranium, Rosemary and Ylang.

Verdict: Is Beauty Pie worth it in the UK?

Without stating the obvious, I love the concept of being able to buy high-quality products at reasonable prices, so Beauty Pie was already in my good books before I had even tried it out.

It’s clear that every product is high quality, and each offering comes completely full size – you won’t catch any sample sizes around here.

The Beauty Pie+ yearly membership works out at just under £5 a month, while the Beauty Pie+ Starter membership costs less than £2.50 per month. Both are billed annually.

For the products on offer and the significant markdown, I think this is well worth the cost – it’s less than the price of a coffee every month.

Permanent proposal gone wrong

Previously, a man has left people stunned after revealing the incredibly permanent way he proposed to his other half.

In the snap, which has since gone viral, he showed off his new tattoo, which he’d used to pop the question.

He captioned the snap, shared on Instagram: “Proposal tattoo from yesterday.

“Stay tuned to find out YES or NO!”

He then mentioned the tattoo artist as he wrote: “Thanks Jeremy!”

The inking – which took up the whole of his upper arm – began with the name of his beloved, Nicole.

It then had “WILL YOU MARRY ME?” in bold, capital letters, followed by check boxes next to “Yes” or “No”.

“Valid from 2024 – 4ever,” the inking said at the bottom.

The tattoo was finished off with a note in brackets, which read: “With Dads approval”.

And while the majority of people were stunned that the man had gone to the extreme lengths of proposing with a tattoo, others pointed out an obvious error in the inking.

“Dad’s*. Punctuation matters,” they wrote.

“This bothers me so much. First thing I noticed!” another agreed.

“Cost another few bucks he didn’t have,” a third joked.

Nintendo Switch 2 first look: New Mario Kart World game is a blast but the best upgrade is in the Joy-Con controllers

FILLING the first Nintendo Switch’s big boots was never going to be an easy task.

The console burst onto the scene in 2017 and proved a huge hit, selling more than 150million units worldwide.

There’s a lot of new features in Mario Kart World[/caption]
Man holding up a Nintendo Switch.
I was among the first media to try out the new Switch 2 before the public

But with the allure of new Mario and Zelda games to name a few, updated Joy-Con controllers, a camera feature to chat with friends online and an even better display, Nintendo sure is giving its best shot with the Nintendo Switch 2.

Gamers across the world will be able to start trying out the Switch 2 for themselves at various cities across the world from tomorrow (April 4).

I was among the first members of the press to get hands-on with the console before the general public, at a special event in Paris.

Here are my first impressions…

Bolder, better, faster

The first thing you will notice is the display is vastly improved.

It’s not a glossy OLED but does support 1080p and the screen itself is bigger too, measuring in at 7.9 inches wide.

The frame rate is 120 fps, meaning popular titles play super smooth compared to the last Switch.

Some much-loved previous titles have been upgraded to take in the enhancements and are dubbed “Switch 2 Edition”.

I tried out The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Switch 2 Edition and the visual boost is glorious.

And it looks equally as good when plugged into the dock too.

It now supports 4K HDR.

New games

Mario Kart World is a Switch 2 exclusive[/caption]

I got a flavour of the new Mario Kart World game among the hands-on, though I didn’t get to try out every mode.

There are some fun new mechanics, such as the ability to grind, as well as exciting new items.

Nintendo says there’s a mode to free roam beyond the track, however this wasn’t available for me to try out today.

The game benefits massively from the frame rate upgrades so everything appears smoother and more crisp as well.

I can see how this will add a whole lot of fresh excitement when playing at a party with friends.

I also had a go at Donkey Kong Bananza which was undeniably great fun.

Joy-Con Joy

Hand holding a black and orange game controller.
Jamie Harris / The Sun
You can now use the Joy-Con as a mouse on some games[/caption]

My favourite change by far so far has to be the added Joy-Con features.

The new magnetic attach and detach function is just so much easier, less fiddly.

Press a button on the back, give a little pull and it’ll release.

I’m told the battery on them is better than the previous Joy-Con controllers, lasting between 2.5 hours and six hours depending on what you’re playing.

The buttons are largely the same – which is a good thing – with bigger SL and SR buttons, and a new C button to access GameShare, so you can chat with friends vocally as you play.

Sadly, GameShare wasn’t available for us to try on this occasion but I look forward to giving it a whirl in future.

Then there’s the ability to use the Joy-Con as a mouse for the first time.

Initially, I thought this might be a gimmick but after trying it out I can say it really is not.

In fact, I think it’s the best addition of the lot.

Playing the Super Mario Party Jamboree Switch 2 Edition is perfect fun in groups without having to wave your arms around excessively – and it certainly brought out my competitive streak.

Super Mario Party Jamboree Switch 2 Edition also gave me a chance to try out the new camera as well, which adds a new dynamic to multiplayer games.
