‘Most entertaining part of the game’ – Pep Guardiola in iconic reaction to controversial Man Utd fans’ chant

MANCHESTER CITY boss Pep Guardiola waved to United fans as he received pelters from the Stretford End.

The City manager, 54, had just watched his side labour to a 0-0 bore draw with Man Utd at Old Trafford.

Throughout the match, United fans chanted in reference to the 130 charges City face for alleged breaches of the Premier League’s financial rules.

As Guardiola made his way to the tunnel following the conclusion of the match, fans booed and sang: “Cheating b*******, you know what you are.”

Not being able to help himself, the Spaniard stopped before reaching the tunnel.

Guardiola turned towards the Stretford End, waving in their direction with both hands.

The three-time Champions League-winning manager’s response was met by sarcastic cheers from the United faithful.

Standing just in front of Guardiola, City star Bernardo Silva couldn’t help but smirk, while a fan on social media admitted: “That was the most entertaining part of the game!”

The 0-0 draw saw City miss the chance to leapfrog Chelsea into fourth place in the Premier League.

United, meanwhile, clambered back above Tottenham into 13th, after the North Londoners had beaten Southampton 3-1 earlier in the day.

After yesterday’s match, Guardiola slammed United fans for chants about Phil Foden’s mum.

Sections of Old Trafford sang: “Phil Foden, your mum is a s**g.”

Guardiola said: “It was a lack of class.

“We are so exposed in football — managers, owners and football players especially.”

It is understood that senior figures within City were “shocked and disgusted” by the chants.

Guardiola added: “I don’t understand the mind of the people involving the mum of Phil.

‘ASHAMED’

“It’s a lack of integrity, class, and they should be ashamed.”

Foden, 24, has this season been unable to replicate the form that saw him earn the PFA Player of the Year award last term.

On the England star’s struggles, Guardiola said: “This season we dropped incredibly. Not just Phil Foden but all of them.

“Last season, his impact was incredible.

“With him and chances it’s normally bang, bang. Just not at the moment.

“But the team is not playing at the level we had. And we were not at our level in this game.”

But he had no idea how much it was actually worth until he checked Google – and was left stunned in the process.

He took to TikTok to share a video of himself paying for his haul, as he kicked off with a silver-plated fruit bowl he got for £1.50.

Next up was a bag of four Swarovski items for £1.50, a pearl necklace for the same price, a £1 silver necklace and a cute pill box for 50p.

But it was the next item that stole the show – the gold necklace with a diamond centre.

“BINGO! Christian Dior necklace £1.50!” he wrote over the top of the video on his Fleamarketlondon TikTok page.

He also showed the eBay listing which showed how much another one of the necklaces had gone for – £618.71.

The eBay title listed the necklace as being vintage and from the 1980s, with a crystal centre.

While another listing had the necklace priced at £720.71.

“I found very, very good stuff in one of the charity shops,” he captioned the video.

And people were quick to praise the man for finding the necklace, with one writing: “What a score!”

“You’ve got some great finds,” another said.

“Nice find! Well spotted,” a third commented.

“Great find,” someone else praised.

As another admitted: “I was worried they’d notice and just raise the price!”

The man is a pro at finding little gems among the tat – and does so at the boot sales, at antique markets and in charity shops.

He also revealed the shop he found the gold Dior necklace in was in Ireland.

Top charity shop tips for bagging a bargain

Ross Dutton has been a manager for Crisis's charity shops for four years and currently runs the charity's Finsbury Park shop in London.

Choose your area – As a rule of thumb, the posher the area, the better quality the clothes that are donated.

Don’t hang around – If you see something you like, buy it, as it’ll likely be gone when you come back

Look out for cut-off labels – Some of your favourite high street stores will have deals with local charity shops to donate stock that isn’t sold during their own sales. Often part of the deal is that they need to cut the labels off the clothes.

Stay at home – While some charities have their own site, like Oxfam and Crisis. many also sell from dedicated eBay stores, such as British Heart Foundation and Scope. You won’t get the range of bargains that you would get in a physical store, but if you’re looking for something specific it may be worth checking online too.

And when it comes to snapping up a deal, he’s not afraid to haggle.

But if you’re someone who finds the concept of haggling more than a little daunting, there’s a few tips that can help make you more confident.

“Start by offering less than you’re ultimately willing to pay — or as a seller, list items for sale above the minimum you’ll accept,” pro haggler Peter Rothbart told Business Insider.

“Your first offer may be accepted, but if not, you’ll still have room to negotiate below your ceiling.”

I’m a cleaner & here’s 5 things I wouldn’t have in my home – including a common bedroom buy that does the ‘devil’s work’

A PROFESSIONAL cleaner has revealed the five things she would never have in her home.

From matte black kitchen cupboards to a common bedroom buy that does the ‘devil’s work’, this self-employed cleaner and business owner explained which interior design choices you should avoid if you don’t want to spend hours cleaning.

She stressed that black bathroom taps, particularly waterfall taps, are also out[/caption]

Posting on social media, the blonde-haired beauty, who has her own company, JM Cleaning Services, revealed the “five things” she would “never have” in her home as a professional cleaner.

So if you’ve got waterfall taps and slate tiles in your bathroom, prepare to be attacked.

First up, the cleaner explained that she would never have matte black kitchen cupboards, as she claimed that no amount of washing-up liquid will get rid of fingerprints and grease marks.

She explained: “White ones are okay, light coloured ones are okay, but get yourself a dark matte kitchen, you are asking for hell – you are literally gonna be tearing your hair out every chance that you get.”

Not only this, but black bathroom taps, particularly waterfall taps, are also out.

The cleaner described waterfall taps as horrendous and claimed that limescale will build up, meaning they become a “b*****d to clean.”

As a result of this, she snapped: “This is a two in one because the waterfall black bathroom tap – that is just hell, that is hell itself, created by Satan.”

This cleaner also can’t stand mirrored furniture, as she expressed: “You dust it, you turn around, the dust has come back and brought 1,000 of its little mates with him – you dust it again and they’ve tripled in size.”

When it comes to bathroom tiles, this cleaning pro claimed that while big tiles are “easy to clean”, slate tiles can be a real nightmare.

She recognised that slate tiles can “look aesthetically pleasing”, but urged homeowners to “not fall for the trap”.

The content creator then explained: “You gotta get in all those nooks and crannies, you can only use a set amount of products on there, you can’t use anything abrasive, the limescale is horrendous.”

Finally, this cleaning expert got candid on why she, and many other professional cleaners, can’t stand blinds.

Men spend 7 hours 54 minutes a week cleaning.

Women spend 12 hours 15 minutes a week cleaning.

Describing them as “the devil’s work”, she fumed: “Honestly, find me a cleaner that likes cleaning blinds, I’ll happily send him or her my paycheck because I can guarantee you, any cleaner that walks into a house with blinds, that’s it, they are walking back out, we are cursing under our breath.”
