The Premier League icon and Manchester City record goalscorer is gearing up for an intensive boot camp… in motorsport.
Sergio Aguero is set to embark on a stunning career change[/caption] Brooklyn Beckham has also been signed up for the series[/caption] It will see 11 stars get behind the wheel of the world’s fastest electric car[/caption]Aguero, 36, is among the highest profile stars set to compete in Formula E‘s new Evo Sessions.
The event is a motorsport first that will give 11 stars from the world of sport, tech and entertainment the chance to get behind the world’s fastest electric car, the GEN3 Evo.
The race car is capable of reaching 60mph in just 1.82s – 30 per cent faster than a Formula One car.
To prepare for the event, Aguero, Beckham and their co-stars will undergo a six-week intense training camp before a track event at the Miami International Autodrome on March 5-6.
This camp will include simulator sessions, physical conditioning, driver coaching, hardware customisation and engineering briefings allowing them to experience the challenges motorsport drivers face.
Following the event’s conclusion, a full feature-length documentary will be released later in this year.
Six stars have so far been announced to the public, with five more to be named in due course.
The stars set to compete have a combined reach of over 300 million followers, and will be embedded within Formula E teams for their preparations.
Beckham has revealed his own excitement for the project.
In a statement he said: “I’ve been lucky enough to get behind the wheel of a Formula E racing car, but this event will be truly eye opening on what it takes to be an elite racing driver.
“It will uncover the world-class ability of the drivers and teams alike and highlight the raw skill and ingenuity we have in the championship.”
Aguero has previously shown his enthusiasm for motorsport by turning up at Grand Prix races and competing during the Virtual Grand Prix series alongside F1 stars during the 2020 lockdown.
Details of how to watch the series will be announced in due course.
Speaking about the session, Formula E CEO Jeff Dodds said: “The initial reaction when I presented the concept of ‘Evo Sessions’ to our teams and partners was, ‘this is wild!’ – which is when I immediately knew we had to bring it to life.
“We wanted to do something that has never been done before in motorsport; something that would give audiences and our fan base a unique perspective into the world of a Formula E driver, through the eyes of some of their favourite online personalities…
“It will uncover the world-class ability of the drivers and teams alike and highlight the raw skill and ingenuity we have in the championship.”

Watch the moment Love Island fans spot ‘secret feud’ with two girls after she ‘walks away’ from conversation
LOVE Island fans reckon they’ve spotted a fresh villa feud after one star was seen “walking away” from a bombshell.
It came as Ekin-Su, 30, discussed the aftermath of partner Curtis Pritchard‘s date with ITV2 newbie Danielle Sellers, 29.
As Ekin-Su headed for a de-brief on the beds, Catherine was seen walking away[/caption]Despite insisting that he was “closed off” with Love Island legend Ekin, he quickly had his head turned after her fiery reaction to his night away.
Curtis, 28, and Ekin-Su – the sole All Stars duo who are locked in – were on the rocks even before season three star Danielle’s arrival, as they clashed over the Stoke lad “speaking over” her during conversations.
And after Maura Higgins’ ex spent a night with the former Sun page three girl, as well as Sammy Root and Elma Pazar in the show’s most sizzling sleepover yet, things went from bad to worse.
In an attempt to cool down and thrash out her feelings after her outburst, Ekin-Su headed to the day beds for a chat with the girls.
She was seen confronting Danielle, with Tina Stinnes and Catherine Agbaje perched on the mattress close by.
Yet fans think Catherine has bad feeling with Ekin-Su and Danielle after she walked out mid chat.
As the duo had a feisty de-brief, she chirped: “I’ll see you guys,” before scooting away in her black costume.
It came as Ekin-Su brought the drama and said of the chats in the villa: “I am hearing he said, she said they said.
“The hand touching thing clarify me.”
Danielle – whose secret Love Island heartache was recently revealed – replied: “Hand touching? what is this f**king hand touching, this was in the morning?”
Ekin replied: “This was in the morning, were you showing your tattoo or something,” before Danielle clarified: “In the morning he was asking me about my rings, thats it.”
After CBB alum Ekin-Su asked her to “put yourself in my shoes” Catherine got up and walked away – leading viewers to speculate a feud brewing.
One fan took to X to write: “Even Catherine done with Ekin-Su’s non stop drama.”

Another put: “Catherine hearing Ekin-su still going about Curtis and Danielle’s date,” as a third put: “Catherine watching everyone having relationship problems and she’s just being a spectator and therapist.
“I’m tired on her behalf.”
One then added: “Not Catherine walking away from Ekins bulls**t acting.”
Another wrote: “Catherine’s like f**k this I’m bored of your acting.”
COUPLE CLASH
Later in the episode Ekin-Su and Curtis tried to clear the air, but it ended in tears.
Ekin-Su told Curtis that she felt “worthless, betrayed, s*** and insecure” after his night away.
Curtis later admitted he “can’t have a relationship without trust” and feels like they’ve gone two steps back.
Ekin-Su insisted she’s only behaving like that because she’s vulnerable and “falling for him” and was unhappy that didn’t reassure her.
Despite being committed to Ekin-Su, Curtis said he’ll still talk to Danielle, leaving her baffled.
Later Danielle and Curtis had a chat and admitted he was surprised by Ekin-Su’s overreaction.
He then dropped a bombshell and said he regretted “closing things off” with Ekin-Su so soon, as viewers watched his head turn.
Previously, fans suggested Ekin-Su was causing issues in their relationship after Luca Bish was voted the most popular male.
Commenting on the official Love Island Instagram page, one fan said at the time: “Was Ekin wanting Curtis to be the favourite boy? She now seems to be shaking the pot.”
Another added: “Ekin finding a problem with Curtis now he wasn’t the favourite boy.”
Fans reckon Catherine has had enough of her co-stars’ drama[/caption]Next batch of Hamas hostages to be freed TODAY including two Israeli women and first foreign nationals
THE next batch of Hamas hostages are set to be freed today after more than year in captivity.
Arbel Yehud, 29, Agam Berger, 21, and Gadi Mozes, 80, will be freed alongside five Thai hostages following a sick 15-month long detention in the tunnels beneath Gaza.
Preparations at er-Rezan Square as Israeli hostages to be released[/caption] Arbel Yehud, 29, is among the next batch of Hamas hostages set to be freed[/caption] Agam Berger, 21, has been held by terrorists in Gaza since the October 7 massacre[/caption]Red Cross vehicles arrived at a location in northern Gaza on Thursday morning in preparation for the release.
Arbel and 80-year-old Gadi were both held by the military wing of Palestinian Islamic Jihad, marking the first time in the ceasefire that the terror group releases hostages in its custody.
A mere few days ago Israel accused Hamas of breaching the peace deal after the terror group released four women IDF soldiers instead of civilian hostage Arbel.
The Palestinian Islamic Jihad had been falsely describing the 29-year-old as a soldier and demanding more prisoners to be released for her to be returned, Times of Israel reports.
But on Sunday, local media said that the Jihad group had agreed to classify Arbel as a civilian.
Hamas gave relief to Arbel’s family on Sunday, confirming that she is alive and safe.
Arbel was abducted alongside her boyfriend, Ariel Cunio, from their Kibbutz Nir Oz home during Hamas’s October 7 horror attacks that left over 1,200 people dead.
Her brother, Dolev Yehud, was killed by the terrorists while defending the kibbutz and his remains were identified last June.
Gadi Mozes, who is also to be released after being held by the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, was taken from Nir Oz during the October 7 massacre.
His partner, Efrat Katz, was tragically killed in the attacks, and his family have had no information on him since December 2023, where he appeared in a gut-wrenching Hamas propaganda video.
Agam Berger is also to be released today after she was abducted from the Nahal Oz outpost – only a couple of months after enlisting in the IDF.
The 21-year-old was seen in footage from the October 7 attack with blood smeared on her face – but it remains unclear whether it’s her own or belonged to fellow soldiers.
Today’s release will also see five Thai nationals escape their hostage hell after being kidnapped by Hamas in the same attack.
Their release is separate from the ceasefire deal between the terror group and Israel.
At least 31 Thai people were kidnapped during the heinous massacre, with six remaining alive in Gaza, according to the Jewish Chronicle.
The hostages have been named as Surasak Lamnau, Pingsa Nattapong, Bannawat Seathao, Sathian Suwankam, Sriaoun Watchara, and Pongsak Tanna.
In exchange for the hostages, Israel are to free Palestinian security prisoners, equating to 30 for each civilian and 50 for Agam Berger.
Israel is not freeing prisoners for the five Thai hostages, however, as that release appears under a separate agreement between Hamas and the Thai government.
RELEASED HOSTAGES
On Saturday, Karina Ariev, 20, Daniela Gilboa, 20, Naama Levy, 20, and Liri Elbag, 19, were all handed over to the Red Cross by balaclava-wearing Hamas thugs.
Emily Damari, Romi Gonen and Doron Steinbrecher were the first three hostages to be released[/caption] Hostage Emily Damari united with her mother[/caption]The women were all captured as Israeli soldiers rather than innocent civilians caught in the horror October 7 massacre.
The four brave soldiers revealed to local media about life being held by Hamas – and how they took a brave step to humiliate their evil captors after their release.
The women were captured in footage acting calmly and confidently as they smiled and waved to crowds of gunmen and Gaza civilians.
One of the released hostages told Kan TV news: “We showed them on the stage that we were not fazed.
“It had no impact on us. We are stronger than them.”
Brit Emily Damari and fellow Israeli captives Romi Gonen, 24, and Doron Steinbrecher, 31 were all also freed in the first exchange last Saturday.
Emily lost two fingers after being shot by Hamas during the October 7 attack on her kibbutz, Kfar Aza, where she was ambushed.
The reunion of the hostages with their families in southern Israel was a moment of raw emotion.
But before escaping terror hell, Emily, Romi and Doron were handed Hamas “gift bags” containing haunting mementos of their captivity.
The bags reportedly included photos of the women during their imprisonment and a so-called “certificate” – acting as a grim reminder of their 15-month nightmare in Gaza.
HOSTAGE DEATHS
Eight hostages due for release have been killed during their cruel imprisonment in Gaza, Hamas says.
The captives appear to have died in the tunnels beneath Gaza during their sick 15-month long detention after they were snatched on October 7, 2023.

Israel said it was informed of the eight deaths on Sunday night by Hamas when it was given a list of the 33 that would be released.
It is not yet clear who the eight deceased are as Israeli hostage families desperately cling on to hope.
Hamas claims the other 25 in the swap are still alive with the next release of hostages takes place on Saturday.
Seven in the group of 33 have already been returned home.
Families of the hostages have been left in an agonising wait to see whether their loved ones have survived.
BIBAS FAMILY HOPE
One of those families is the Bibas, who don’t know whether Kfir and Ariel, just two and five years old when they were snatched, are still alive.
The children, along with their parents Yarden and Shiri, are all on the list of are on the list of hostages to be released in the first six-week phase of the fragile ceasefire.
The Bibas family remain hostages in Gaza[/caption] Tragically, Hamas claimed three of the family had died in an Israeli airstrike[/caption]Relatives are yet to hear any news on whether the family could be dead or alive.
In a statement on Monday, the Bibas family said it still held on to hope.
They said: “We said then and we say now, we hold on to hope and await their return. We await certainty regarding their condition.
“The list that Hamas passed on to Israel regarding the status of the kidnapped is not a list of names and does not change our position. Neither a list of names, a Hamas statement, nor any video of this or that kind – are certain for us.”
Last year, Hamas claimed that Shiri, Ariel and Kfir had been killed in an Israeli air strike – something Israel has not confirmed.
The Bibas family said their “world came crashing down” after they saw that Shiri, Ariel and Kfir were not on the list to be freed on Saturday.
The terms of the deal state children and female captives would be released first.
Israel accused Hamas of breaching the peace deal after the terror group released four women IDF soldiers instead of civilian hostage Arbel Yehoud.
In response, Hamas pledged to release two more woman, but did not again mention Shiri Bibas and her children.
DISPLACED PALESTINIANS
The first phase of the ceasefire runs until early March and will see 33 hostages released by Hamas and 2,000 Palestinian prisoners released by Israel.
The exchanged come as thousands of displaced Palestinians are returning home to the north of war-ravaged Gaza.
Palestinians displaced by Israel make their way home back on foot on Tuesday[/caption] Palestinians are set to now live in tent camps after the IDF flattened most of Gaza[/caption]Israel had prevented Palestinians from returning to northern Gaza, accusing Hamas of violating the terms of the truce, but Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office said late Sunday they would be allowed to pass after a new agreement was reached.
Israel had said it would prevent Palestinians’ passage to the north until the release of Arbel Yehud, a civilian woman hostage who it maintained should have been freed on Saturday.
But Netanyahu’s office later said a deal had been reached for the release of three hostages on Thursday, including Yehud, as well as another three on Saturday.
Hamas had said blocking the return of Palestinians amounted to a truce violation.
Large crowds of people moved through the now-open Netzarim Corridor into the north, watched over by Israeli tanks.
Some pulled carts weighed down with mattresses and other essentials while others carried what belongings they could.
What happened on October 7?
ON OCTOBER 7, 2023, Hamas launched a brutal surprise attack on Israel, marking one of the darkest days in the nation’s history.
Terrorists stormed across the border from Gaza, killing over 1,200 people — most of them civilians — and kidnapping 250 others, including women, children, and the elderly.
The coordinated assault saw heavily armed fighters infiltrate Israeli towns, kibbutzim, and military bases, unleashing indiscriminate violence.
Innocent families were slaughtered in their homes, and graphic footage of the atrocities spread across social media, leaving the world in shock.
And as well as attacking people in their homes, they stormed the Nova music peace festival – killing at least 364 people there alone.
The massacre triggered a swift and massive retaliatory response from Israel, escalating into a full-scale war.
The attack not only reignited long-standing tensions in the region but also left deep scars on both sides of the conflict, setting the stage for the 15 months of devastation that followed.
England women’s hero Chloe Kelly releases bombshell statement slamming ‘negative behaviour towards her’
ENGLAND women’s hero Chloe Kelly has released a bombshell statement slamming her own club’s “negative behaviour towards her.”
The Manchester City star has featured just six times in the league this season.
Chloe Kelly has released a statement slamming Man City for not letting her leave[/caption] The Euro 2022 winner is wanted by Man Utd ahead of tonight’s deadline[/caption]Kelly, 27, has seen game time dry up despite being an important figure in past campaigns.
And she has now declared she is eager to leave City ahead of tonight’s 11pm transfer deadline.
The ace netted England’s winning goal in their Euro 2022 final win over Germany.
Sarina Wiegman’s team will look to defend their trophy this summer in Switzerland.
And Kelly is worried that a lack of minutes at City will seriously hurt her chances of making the squad.
It’s reckoned that rivals Manchester United are weighing up a late loan swoop, with Kelly’s City contract not expiring until June.
Now, the winger has issued a lengthy statement slamming her club for leaving her on the sidelines all season.
Kelly claims that being told “whom I can and can’t join” has affected her “mental wellbeing” in the process.
And she has begged City to let her go so she can “be happy again.”
Kelly said: “A message from me. For a long time, I’ve tried to work through professional challenges privately, not commenting publicly, but with my situation increasingly being debated in the public domain, I feel it’s time to be open and transparent, and you heard it from my perspective.
“A key lesson I have learned in my life is that, while I can’t control someone’s negative behaviour towards me, I can control how long I am prepared to tolerate it.
“From day one, I’ve felt so much love from my team-mates and the fans. With my contract expiring in June, I’ve accepted my future is not at this club beyond then.
“With the Euros fast approaching, this summer is a huge one and I want to be in a position to give it my best shot to represent my country. Something which has always filled me with such pride and it is a true honour to do so.
“However, to be dictated whom I can and can’t join with only four months left of the football season is having a huge impact on not only my career but my mental wellbeing. The situation has dragged on for too long, it’s disappointing and not right.
“I’m at a pivotal point in my life and my career is so important to me, and [it] is very disappointing that the sport we love can make you feel this way, especially after there’s been so much growth in our sport.
“This is why I’m posting this, because I want to make you all aware that we as players dedicate our lives to our sport and our clubs but our dreams can be crushed while we live in silence.
“I am human and I have and will give everything to the game that I love. Ultimately, I just want to be happy again.”
Love Island fans spot exact moment Curtis switched from Ekin-Su to stunning bombshell Danielle in flirty bedroom chat
LOVE Island fans have spotted the exact moment that Curtis switched from Ekin-Su to bombshell Danielle.
Curtis Pritchard, 28, and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, 30, have been coupled up since the start of this series of Love Island: All Stars, with them even suggesting last week that they were “closed off”.
Curtis was seen chatting to new bombshell Danielle Sellers during last night’s episode[/caption] Curtis and Danielle enjoyed a romantic moment[/caption] Curtis has been coupled up with Ekin since the start of this All Stars series[/caption]But now a spanner has been thrown in the works after stunning new bombshell Danielle Sellers entered the villa last night, leaving Curtis’ head turning.
There was even a specific moment in last night’s episode where fans spotted the exact moment that Curtis detatched himself and his emotions from the girl he had been with for a fortnight.
While chatting to Danielle amid their flirty bedroom chat after they had a date in the hideaway, Curtis was speaking about Ekin-Su.
Laying in bed with Danielle, Curtis shockingly said: “Truthfully, I don’t really know the girl.”
Fans have now reacted to the bombshell statement that the dancer made, with many totally gobsmacked and begging for Movie Night to come sooner rather than later.
“Curtis really went from ‘I focus on one person’ to ‘I don’t really know the girl’ real quick,” penned one person on X.
Another added: “Curtis told Ekin ‘We are closed off’ then he told Danielle ‘I don t know really know the girl’ ..and SOMEHOW, Ekin is the problem?”
“MOVIE NIGHT IS GOING TO FINISHHHHH CURTIS,” said a third.
While a fourth penned: “Did Curtis just say ‘truthfully I don’t know the girl’ no sorry get him out now lil game player.”
“All of a sudden Curtis don’t know the girl he’s been coupled up with from the beginning. Oh jesus. See how men go on,” said a fifth.
FANS REACT TO CURTIS’ STATEMENT
“Why has Danielle not told them that Curtis said he doesn’t know Ekin????” asked a sixth.
While someone said that Curtis “is purposely letting Ekin spiral so he can use her craziness as an excuse to crack on with Danielle”.
And another added: “The way Curtis just grinned and giggled at Danielle?! OH HES FINISHED!”
Also during last night’s episode, Ekin and Curtis shared a tense moment.

Ekin told him: “Every time I want to say something about how I feel, you have something to say which then… the conversation I want to say gets taken somewhere else.”
BOMBSHELL INTERRUPTION
Curtis replies: “That’s rubbish. You say how you feel all the time. I can probably count 15 times in the past three days.”
Ekin tells him: “No correct. But if there’s something in particular I want to say…”
This conversation happened moments before Danielle entered the villa, leaving Ekin totally taken aback.
Because Ekin and Curtis had the tense conversation shortly before Danielle’s villa entry, they weren’t in the strongest place for him to not get his head turned.
Love Island All Stars continues Thursday night from 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.

Royal Mail to make huge change to deliveries in massive shake-up
ROYAL Mail will make a huge change to deliveries in a massive shake up for customers.
The postal service could scrap second class deliveries on Saturdays and reduce the service to be on alternate weekdays.
Royal Mail could scrap second class deliveries[/caption]This comes as part of proposals laid out by regulator Ofcom, who has been consulting on the future of the service since January and is expected to publish a final decision come summer.
Under the proposed plans, second class deliveries would not be made on Saturdays and would only be on alternate weekdays, but delivery times would remain unchanged at up to three working days.
The watchdog said after a consultation, it had provisionally concluded the changes would continue to meet postal users’ needs.
The regulator said the move, if carried out successfully, would help save between £250m and £425m.
This money would then be reinvested into the business to help improve it.
It was also proposed that Royal Mail should lower its targets for first class mail from 93% to 90% delivered next-day.
Meanwhile, targets for second class mail should be reduced from 98.5% to 95% delivered within three days.
This will bring them more in line with other international and European markets, it added.
Ofcom said it is putting forward these suggestions amid a drop in the quality of service at Royal Mail.
The regulator has fined Royal Mail a total of £16million in the last 18 months.
Most recently, the firm was slapped with a £10.5 fine for missing delivery targets.
At the time, Ofcom said just 74.7 per cent of first class post was delivered on time in the past year — well short of the 93 per cent target.
Natalie Black, Ofcom’s group director for networks and communications said: “The world has changed – we’re sending a third of the letters we were 20 years ago. We need to reform the postal service to protect its future and ensure it delivers for the whole of the UK.
“But we’re safeguarding what matters most to people – First Class mail six days a week at the same price throughout the UK, and a price cap on Second Class stamps.”
CHANGING HABITS
Customers are using postal services less and less, particularly when it comes to using letters.
Twenty years ago, Royal Mail was delivering 20billion letters.
That number is now 6.6billion a year, and Royal Mail expects it to be 4billion a year in the next few years.
Emma Gilthorpe, chief executive of Royal Mail, said that reform is “crucial to support a modern, sustainable, and reliable postal service for our customers, our company and our people.”
She added: “Ofcom has recognised the urgent need for change so that the future of the Universal Service can be protected for all.”
The price of first class stamps has also been increased five times over the past two years, with cost now sitting at £1.67 since last October.
This was on top of a 10p rise in April 2024.
Separately, Royal Mail’s parent company is being sold to a business controlled by Czech billionaire Daniel Kretinsky in a deal worth £3.6billion.
However, the government will have a special share in the business which means Kretinsky will have to get approval for any changes to Royal Mail’s ownership or location of its headquarters and tax residency.
NO SERVICE DAYS
ROYAL Mail operates round the clock throughout most of the year.
But there are a handful of days when no delivery and collection services are offered:
- New Year’s Day
- Good Friday
- Easter Monday
- Early May Bank Holiday
- Spring Bank Holiday
- Summer Bank Holiday
- Christmas Day
- Boxing Day
