In her candid reveal the star she explained her passions and said: “The life coaching because I love anything about mental health.

“These are things I want to achieve for myself.

“And the Paramedic thing. I will have to do the access course.”

She added: “I’m so good with Harvey and I’ve also applied where Harvey’s going, because he moves back – I’ve found a place for him in March.

“He’s moving 20 minutes from me and they even said there that I’d be an amazing carer.

“So I said I’d be a volunteer once a week to do that.

“I just love helping people and I want to be on the road, or Air Ambulance, it is a long course.”

Katie’s eldest son Harvey, 22, was born with the rare genetic condition Prader-Willi syndrome, and is also autistic and partially blind.

Last year, the star told how she was “having a nightmare” securing Harvey another placement at his college.

He was previously accepted into a £350,000-a-year residential college three hours away from Katie’s former Mucky Mansion home in Horsham, West Sussex.

She previously told us: “It’s so upsetting to think I won’t see him every day but this is the best thing for Harvey and we have to think positively because I don’t want him to think I’m just getting rid of him.”

Yet now hew new role and Harvey’s new placement will see the pair spending more quality time together.

NEW ROLE

Back in 2023, we were first to report her shock new job.

Katie told how she had already got stuck into her first batch of online training and revealed the somewhat surprising news on her Instagram page.

Perched on her sofa wearing a tracksuit, Katie propped her laptop on her legs as she told fans: “Hi everyone.

“Now we all know I’ve had my ups and I’ve had my downs.

“Now I want to start helping people. I’m going to start my life coaching training with the coaching masters.

“It’s so easy to do and you get all your certifications, all of that, and it’s like a membership you do each month for £9.99.

“It’s amazing and you don’t have to be qualified, you don’t have to have knowledge of this and that, they literally teach you everything to become a life coach like I am going to become.

“It’s an amazing opportunity for everyone out there who have been through their ups and downs and to now help other people.”

She rounded off her message and added: “I’m really excited to do it. I am so happy I’ve come aboard.

“Who knows, I could be coaching you!”

Chelsea ready to go right to transfer deadline in pursuit of Man Utd star Alejandro Garnacho with Napoli still in hunt

CHELSEA are ready to go right to the wire in their plans to land Alejandro Garnacho.

The Manchester United winger is wanted by The Blues and Italians Napoli as time ticks away on the January transfer window.

TRANSFER NEWS LIVE: STAY UP TO DATE WITH ALL THE LATEST MOVES FROM THE JANUARY WINDOW

Napoli are reluctant to improve on their £42million valuation and Chelsea are waiting in the wings to make a formal offer.

They are still monitoring the changing situation with Bayern Munich winger Mathys Tel, who could now leave the German giants having only recently pledged his loyalty.

Teenage Tel had been left on the bench in Bayern’s last three games before starting against Slovan Bratislava last night, and is reconsidering his future.

But the player is aware that he would face the same level of competition for a place at Chelsea as he would at the Allianz Arena.

The Red Devils are interested in a move for Tel on loan as they look to bolster their own attacking options.

Tel, 19, is also wanted by Tottenham and wants regular football, making a move there more favourable.

Chelsea are prepared to leave it late in order to get the best deals possible. The transfer window closes at 11pm on Monday.

Garnacho, 20, is available amid a mini Old Trafford reshuffle by boss Ruben Amorim.

Despite a slow start to life under the Portuguese boss, Amorim is happy to keep the Argentine starlet.

Speaking before Man Utd’s clash with FCSB, Amorim said: “I’m happy to have Garnacho here. He’s improving a lot. He’s a young, talented guy. You want to work with these talented players.

“That’s what drives the coaches to improve the team; to have these kind of players that you know they are going to improve a lot.

“In football, especially when we are in these situations, sometimes it’s hard, but I don’t want to focus on that. I’m really happy to have Garnacho playing tomorrow.”

However, club chiefs are understood to be open to a sale if the right bid comes in to help them satisfy PSR rules.

Chelsea are looking for wide players because there are suspicions that left winger Mykhailo Mudryk is about to receive a sizeable ban after testing positive for the banned substance meldonium.

The club is awaiting results of the B sample.

Tel appeals to Chelsea because although he plays off the left hand side, he considers himself a striker.

That makes him attractive to Chelsea who are set to lose Christopher Nkunku.

There is even a chance of a swap deal involving the two players between The Blues and Bayern.

Thousands of Brits plagued by constant sneezing, runny nose and swollen eye-lids to get ‘life-changing’ pill on the NHS

THOUSANDS of Brits plagued by constant sneezing, a streaming nose and red, watery eyes could be given a ‘life-changing’ pill on the NHS.

The National Institute for Healthcare and Care Excellence (NICE) green-lit the daily tablet in draft guidance, after it was shown to reduce debilitating symptoms caused by dust mite allergies.

Getty
Dust mites live off dead human skin cells and can be found in bedding, soft furnishings and clothes[/caption]

Dust mites are tiny creatures, only about a quarter of a millimetre long, that live off dead skin cells and burrowing into bedding, carpets, sofas and clothing.

Even with deep cleaning, it’s pretty much impossible to completely eradicate dust mites from your home – adding to the misery of people who are allergic to them.

Common symptoms of a dust mite allergy include sneezing, a runny, stuffy or itchy nose, ticking in the throat or mouth, and red, watery eyes.

In severe cases, it can be debilitating and cause facial swelling, fatigue and affect people’s sleep.

The tiny creatures may also worsen eczema and asthma symptoms.

NICE has now approved a drug called 12 SQ-HDM SLIT – also known as Acarizax and made by ALK-Abello – for people aged 12 to 65 with persistent moderate to severe house dust mite allergic rhinitis.

An allergy is persistent when symptoms occur on four or more days a week for a month and can’t be eased by standard treatments.

NICE said around 13,000 people in England could benefit from the pills, which are the first treatment the agency has recommended for the condition.

The drug works by increasing the body’s resistance to house dust mites and could be particularly helpful to people whose symptoms aren’t alleviated by steroid nasal sprays and antihistamines.

By receiving a regular fixed amount of the dust mite allergy treatment every day, the body can become less sensitive to the little critters, reducing allergy symptoms over time.

The pills can be taken for three years to build up the body’s resistance.

According to Allergy UK, Acarizax is the first treatment for house dust mite allergies that tackles the cause allergies – rather than just the symptoms – to be made available on the NHS.

“It has the potential of providing a long-term solution for people who haven’t found meaningful relief with existing approaches such as antihistamines and steroids,” the charity added.

“House dust mite-driven allergic rhinitis can severely impact someone’s quality of life, affecting their ability to sleep and even attend work or school.

Symptoms of a dust mite allergy

The most common symptoms of a house dust mite allergy include:

  • Sneezing
  • A runny, stuffy or itchy nose
  • An itchy throat or mouth
  • Postnasal drip
  • A cough
  • Red or watery eyes
  • Fatigue
  • Worsening eczema or asthma symptoms

Often symptoms can affect you all year round, so you may not realise you’re allergic to dust mites in your home or office.

Symptoms can become worse after sleeping in a heavily infested bed, after changing bedding, doing housework or when sleeping in an old house, particularly if it’s damp.

The mites tend to thrive in humid and damp environments.

How can I lessen my exposure to dust mites?

We’re often exposed to dust mite allergens in bed, so taking precautions in the bedroom by using allergy friendly covers on bedding may help.

Washing bedding regularly can sometimes help too, though studied suggest that chemicals called acaricides may need to be used in order to see an effect.

But remember that dust mites can be found in all rooms of the house, on the floor and in soft furnishings, and may also be found in your workplace and cars.

Source: Allergy UK

“The lack of respite from symptoms and the social isolation experienced by many who are affected can also bring a mental health burden.”

People will be eligible for the new pill after having their medical history examined by a doctor and testing positive for a dust mite allergy through an allergy skin prick test or specific immunoglobulin E [IgE]) test.

Helen Knight, director of medicines evaluation at NICE, said: “For people with house dust mite allergic rhinitis that is not controlled by standard treatments, this new cost-effective drug will have a significant positive impact on their quality of life.

“This is a chronic, debilitating condition which can prevent people from going to their workplace or school.

“This medicine has been found to improve symptoms, helping people to live their lives and has potential to be truly life changing.”

Dr Helen Evans-Howells, a patient expert and a GP, added: “This drug could be life-changing for those affected by severe symptoms which include significant fatigue, congestion and facial swelling.

“The evidence clearly shows it offers an effective solution for those who have struggled with standard treatments.”

Amena Warner, head of clinical services at Allergy UK, called the decision a “landmark step”.

“Many endure years of misery; of nasal congestion, loss of smell and sneezing, impacting their sleep and daily living with little respite from symptoms.

“This can also affect mental wellbeing. With this treatment there is now hope for people who fit the criteria to be able to access this through the NHS.”

Inspirational Kate visits children’s hospice to meet brave families affected by devastating illness

PRINCESS Kate arrived in Wales today for her first engagement in the country since revealing her cancer diagnosis.

The Princess of Wales visited Tŷ Hafan’s hospice in Sully, near Cardiff, where she spent time with children, families and staff.

The Princess of Wales, 43, was appointed as its new patron[/caption]

The 43-year-old was appointed as its new patron, a position previously held by Princess Diana in its fundraising stage.

The first patronage Kate ever took on was East Anglia’s Children’s Hospice (EACH) and she maintains a close relationship with the organisation to this day.

Sources said the Princess is looking forward to building a similar relationship with Tŷ Hafan and the children and families it serves in Wales.

Kate played with eight kids during her drop in and spoke to four parents who lost children, as well as painting a hand print on the wall.

Kensington Palace arranged for a donation of musical instruments to be provided to the charity to allow them to conduct more music therapy sessions.

The Prince and Princess of Wales last went to Wales in October 2023 to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the arrival of the HMT Empire Windrush to the UK and mark the start of Black History Month.

The visit is part of Kate’s “gradual return to work” after her last minute decision to join Prince William at a Holocaust Memorial Day event.

It is not a sign she is “fully back to work”, but this type of pace is going to continue, insiders added.

Tŷ Hafan translates from Welsh to ‘Haven House’ in English.

It provides free care and support to children with life-shortening conditions and their families, both within the hospice and in homes and communities in Wales.

Irfon Rees, Chief Executive of Tŷ Hafan, said: “We are deeply honoured that Her Royal Highness The Princess of Wales has become Patron of Tŷ Hafan and it was an absolute pleasure to welcome Her Royal Highness to our hospice for the first time today.

“As our Patron, Her Royal Highness will be an inspiration for children with life-shortening conditions and their families, our dedicated staff and volunteers and everyone who so generously supports us.

“No parent ever imagines that their child’s life will be short. Sadly this is the reality facing thousands of families in Wales.

“We can’t stop this happening, but together we can make sure that no one lives their child’s short life alone.”

It comes after Kate hugged Holocaust survivors at a reception telling them it was a “treat” to see them again.

She had an emotional reunion with Yvonne Bernstein and Stephen Frank – two Holocaust survivors she photographed in 2020, ahead of a UK National Ceremony to mark 80 years since the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau.

As she sat catching up with Yvonne, the two women held hands, with Yvonne stroking the Princess’s arm and thanking her for coming at the reception held at London‘s Guildhall.

Kate, in a black coat over black wide-leg trousers and a black sweater with a five-string pearl necklace, said: “It was such a treat for me to come and see an old friend.”

She had greeted the 87-year-old Yvonne saying: “It’s so nice to see you”.

And after hearing that Yvonne had suffered some health problems, she added: “You’ve had such a hard time, haven’t you?”

Kate also shared a warm hug with Stephen, 89, who thanked her for sending him a Christmas card and the two chatted about his family.

William sat with Polish born Alfred Garwood, who survived Bergen-Belsen as a child and Bosnian genocide survivor Sabina Kadic-Mackenzie, who now lives in Liverpool.

Both the Prince and Princess discussed their desire to teach their children about the Holocaust, with William saying: “George is getting to the age where he’s starting to understand things.

“So it’s getting interesting to talk to him about what happened.”

As Lisa Snowdon, 53, wows with latest bikini snaps, here’s her top FREE beauty secrets – and why she always sleeps naked

SHE’S 53 but still looks better than many women half her age.

So it’s no wonder that Lisa Snowdon is still confident enough to strip down to a bikini – doing just that as she marked her latest birthday recently.

And she also starts the day with a cup of boiling water with lemon[/caption]

And while Lisa does use some pricey beauty products to help maintain a flawless facade, there are also some completely free tips she swears by following on a daily basis.

One such tip is ending her morning routine with an icy cold shower.

“At the end of my shower, I turn the temperature down and stand under icy cold water for three minutes before getting out,” she told GettheGloss.com.

“It’s an initial shock to the system but you just have to breathe through it.

“It’s an amazing start to the day and it pushes me out of my comfort zone.”

It also helps set her up “mentally” to “deal with anything big I’ve got on that day”, as well as helping to “seal the cuticle of the hair“.

Lisa sticks to intermittent fasting to maintain her enviably slim figure but always starts her diet the same way.

“I put the kettle and coffee pot on – I love a hot water and lemon, and a green tea – and potter around,” she said.

“For breakfast, I like a couple of boiled eggs or some yogurt and blueberries.”

And her strict rules continue all the way to bedtime, as she said she always does her best to sleep for at least seven and a half hours, and be in bed by 10pm.

“I make sure I don’t have any screen time an hour before bed and I like to write lists, saying goodbye to the day and getting rid of anything that I would potentially lie in bed and think about,” she said.

When it comes to her attire for between the sheets, Lisa likes wearing “nice nightwear”, but added you can also be “naked if you want to be!”

“If I’m really struggling to nod off, I listen to Deepak Chopra’s guided sleep meditations,” she revealed.

I quit my degree to run a brothel – I’m not a sex worker & it’s my dream job but what ‘pimps’ are really like stunned me

A WOMAN who works in a legal brothel has revealed how she knew it was her dream job.

Catherine De Noire regularly shares what it’s like working in the sex industry despite not being a sex worker herself and the behind-the-scenes that goes into running a brothel.

She revealed the biggest surprise when entering the industry[/caption]

She has revealed the brothel is one of the largest in Europe and recently spoke to News.com.au on how she got into the industry.

Catherine revealed she was studying psychology with plans to become a therapist.

That’s when she discovered neuropsychology, which examines the connection between thoughts and brain structures and what forms them.

“I discovered this field and it was amazing. I always had this passion for research, my father is a researcher. I thought it was my career,” she said.

Catherine stumbled into the industry after coming across a paper from a manager of a brothel. It was called They Call Me A Pimp But I Protect Women. In the paper, the business, the way women are treated and the legalities.

“It basically said how this business is the same as any other business,” she said.

“It got me thinking. I finished the article and I was like, ‘I want to do this. This is my dream job.’”

While she had no experience in sex work or management, she decided to apply for a role as a brothel manager.

Catherine tracked down the company the paper’s author worked for.

“I wrote them an email. I told them I didn’t have any experience. I was 22, had no experience managing people. I didn’t even have my degree,” she said.

“At the time, the company was only hiring managers with psychology qualifications.”

A few days later, human resources called her for an interview. She was eventually offered a job.

“It’s been eight and a half years now,” she recalled.

When Catherine first started she recalled being shocked by what working in a brothel was really like.

Are brothel's legal in the UK?

There has been a growing debate in the UK about whether brothels should be legalised, following the emergence of pop-up brothels across the country. These temporary establishments, often set up in residential areas, have sparked concerns among local communities and law enforcement agencies. The current legal framework in the UK criminalises the operation of brothels, but individual sex work is permitted. This has led to a complex and often problematic situation for those involved in the industry.

Advocates for legalising brothels argue that regulation could improve safety and working conditions for sex workers. By bringing the industry out of the shadows, they believe that sex workers would have better access to health services and legal protection, reducing the risks of exploitation and violence. Furthermore, regulated brothels could be subject to health and safety standards, ensuring a safer environment for both workers and clients.

On the other hand, opponents of legalisation worry that it could lead to an increase in human trafficking and exploitation. They argue that normalising the sex industry might encourage more people to become involved in it, both as workers and clients. Additionally, there are concerns about the impact on local communities, with fears that legalised brothels could lead to an increase in crime and antisocial behaviour in residential areas.

As the debate continues, it is clear that there are no easy answers. Balancing the rights and safety of sex workers with the concerns of local communities and broader societal impacts remains a complex challenge. Policymakers will need to carefully consider the potential benefits and drawbacks of legalising brothels in the UK, taking into account the experiences of other countries that have taken similar steps.

“I remember, I was standing in front of the building. I was wondering, would they be like ‘proper pimps’? Would they be wearing fake fur, these kinds of stereotypes,” she said.

“But when I walked in, everything was so normal. There was receptionists, security, HR department, IT department and a marketing department.

“I was like, this is a normal company. The owner is such a sweet guy. If you could see him, you’d say he was very lovely.

“That was the first shock.”

Catherine added it was hard to be seen as a manager because she was just 22. She said some of the women she was working with were older than her, and at times they needed a mother, a friend and a boss.

“It’s very hard to balance this,” she said.

On Instagram, Catherine recently revealed the craziest things she has seen in a brothel including a mum and daughter working together and rooms being set on fire.

This Morning viewers furious as couple have sex on ‘female viagra’ in racy TV experiment

FURIOUS This Morning viewers have been left choking on their cups of tea after a couple were sent to a hotel to have sex.

Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard chatted to volunteers Ray and Karen about so-called ‘female viagra’ in Thursday’s show before the couple agreed to try it out.

Karen took two supplements live on air before Cat and Ben waved her and her hubby off to do the deed.

Once at the hotel, Ray gave the cameras a thumbs up before Cat told Ben and viewers: “He’s got a twinkle in his eye!”

The This Morning hosts confirmed that Ray and Karen would be returning to the studio at 12.15pm to tell the nation how they got on.

Fans of the ITV1 daytime show, however, were horrified by the scenes.

Writing on X, formerly known as Twitter, one said: “What has this show turned into?! Female viagra on morning tv!”

Another added: “Is this how low this show can go? Sending a couple off to a hotel to see if the ‘female viagra’ works? Utterly pathetic.”

A third fumed: “Could they not have got the couple to try the viagra before they appeared on the show?”

And someone else quipped: “Thankfully I’m off to work. I’ll check the hashtag later for the Viagra results from the Travelodge.”

The shock segment on Thursday’s episode of This Morning aired at around 10.15am.

Resident medical expert Dr Zoe told the volunteers: “Ray and Karen, here are two supplements that some studies support the notion that they can help with libido.

“One is called maca root, which is a Peruvian root, and the other is fenugreek, which raises testosterone levels.”

Karen was seen swigging from a mug as she downed one of the natural supplements.

The couple then disappeared off to a nearby London hotel after promising to head back two hours later.

At 11.20am, during a round up of what was still come on This Morning, Karen and Ray were seen closing their hotel bedroom door behind them.

Ben told viewers the pair would be back at 12.15pm, saying: “It’s the result we’ve all been waiting for.

“Have Karen and Ray had a successful morning? The claim is, it increases women’s libido in just 15 minutes.”

Champions League draw simulated in FULL as Arsenal and Liverpool find out when they’ll meet and City learn horror tie

THE new-look Champions League group stage has finally been completed, with 24 teams now preparing to learn their fate in the competition.

Arsenal, Liverpool, Aston Villa and Barcelona were among the clubs to earn automatic qualification to the last-16, while the likes of Manchester City, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain will have to progress through a play-off.

Man City will have to qualify for the last-16 via a play-off[/caption]

The Premier League champions face arguably the hardest pick of the bunch as they will be drawn against either Bayern Munich or Real Madrid for the grudge match.

Meanwhile, we could also see a huge all-Serie A clash as well as two Dutch giants going head-to-head.

With the play-off draw not scheduled until tomorrow, SunSport has completed a simulation to see which path each team could potentially face.

Each play-off club is in a position to face one of two possible opponents, giving them a 50/50 chance – for example, Man City have a 50 per cent chance of facing Bayern Munich and a 50 per cent chance of facing Real Madrid.

This week’s draw will only determine the play-off fixtures, not which side of the bracket each of the 16 teams – not including the eight automatic qualifiers – will be on.

We have selected each team one by one, placing them into brackets for the sake of the overall simulator.

The first of each pairing has been put in the first half of the bracket and the second in the other.

In the simulated play-off draw, Man City have been pitted against Bayern Munich in arguably the pick of the bunch.

According to the simulated draw, City could face Arsenal in the quarter-finals[/caption]

The list of fixtures completing the first half of the draw are; Monaco vs Benfica, Brugge vs Borussia Dortmund and the all-Italian clash between Juventus and AC Milan.

In the second half of the simulated draw, Dutch sides Feyenoord and PSV Eindhoven have been put against each other.

That side is completed with Brest vs PSG, Sporting Lisbon vs Atalanta and Celtic vs Real Madrid.

The round-of-16, quarter-final and semi-final draws will take place on February 21, so we will not officially know which side of the bracket each of the play-off winners will be on until then.

However, SunSport’s simulated draw sees Monaco/Benfica facing Barcelona, Brugge/Dortmund against Aston Villa, Man City/Bayern vs Atletico and Juventus/AC Milan vs Arsenal on one side.

That means fixtures between Breast/PSG and Liverpool, Sporting/Atalanta and Lille, Celtic/Real Madrid and Bayer Leverkusen as well as Feyenoord/PSV vs Inter Milan will be on the other.

Who faces who in the Champions League?

Here's a look at the ties across the competition...

Teams who finished from ninth to 24th in the Champions League league phase will play off to decide who reaches the last-16.

PLAYOFF ROUND

Atalanta vs Sporting Lisbon or Club Brugge

Borussia Dortmund vs Sporting Lisbon or Club Brugge

Real Madrid vs Celtic or Man City

Bayern Munich vs Celtic or Man City

AC Milan vs Feyenoord or Juventus

PSV vs Feyenoord or Juventus

PSG vs AS Monaco or Brest

Benfica vs AS Monaco or Brest

Winners of playoff ties will then face the teams who finished in the top eight of the league phase in the last-16…

LAST 16

Liverpool vs PSG/Benfica/AS Monaco/Brest

Barcelona vs PSG/Benfica/AS Monaco/Brest

Arsenal vs AC Milan/PSV Eindhoven/Feyenoord/Juventus

Inter Milan vs AC Milan/PSV Eindhoven/Feyenoord/Juventus

Atletico Madrid vs Real Madrid/Bayern Munich/Celtic/Man City

Bayer Leverkusen vs Real Madrid/Bayern Munich/Celtic/Man City

Lille vs Atalanta/Borussia Dortmund/Sporting Lisbon/Club Brugge

Aston Villa vs Atalanta/Borussia Dortmund/Sporting Lisbon/Club Brugge

Should this be the case, fans could look forward to some huge potential quarter-final games including Barcelona vs Aston Villa, Real Madrid vs Inter and Man City vs Arsenal.

We could even see an all-Premier League final if Arsenal or Man City and Liverpool go the distance.

The Gunners are seeking their first-ever Champions League title, with City and Liverpool both looking to take it back after winning it in recent years.
