Watch moment fans spot giveaway clue Ekin-Su and Curtis are in a ‘showmance’ after ‘weirdest’ moment in show history

LOVE Island fans were totally taken aback last night when a showmance was highly apparent.

Curtis Pritchard, 28, and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, 30, have been coupled up since the start of this series of Love Island: All Stars.

Last week, the pair even suggested that they were “closed off”.

But in last night’s episode, amid the fall out from new girl Danielle Sellers taking Curtis to the Hideaway, Ekin and Curtis endured “the weirdest moment” in the show’s history.

The pair were seen arguing before having a deep conversation and then making up, with their feud ending with a smooch.

After the pair kissed, fellow islander Casey Gorman branded it as the it weirdest moment.

And viewers watching at home had similar thoughts, too.

One person on X said: “Everyone in that villa and at home after watching that weird pantomime performance from Curtis & Ekin.”

Another added: “Sorry but how can Ekin and Curtis argue and in about 10 minutes they kiss ? Weird night in the villa.”

“What am I watching here? An argument into a therapy session about Curtis’ mum into ekin forcing herself on him?? F***ing weird behaviour this,” penned a third.

While a fourth said: “Yeah Curtis and Ekin are both weird.”

“Ekin and Curtis match each other freak so much such weird individuals,” said a fifth.

Meanwhile someone else recently said that all Curtis wants is a showmance.

“What the hell do any on these girls see in Curtis? He comes across so fake saying anything he thinks someone wants to hear. He wants to settle down but comes across like all he really wants is a showmance with Ekin-Su and as much TV time as poss,” the fan penned on X.

This comes after Curtis and Ekin had a conversation following the moment that she broke down in tears after he was chatting to Danielle.

Curtis told Ekin: “I’m not going to say anything about this, Ekin. But we’re going to have a full conversation tomorrow.”

Throughout the series the couples will chop and change as each recoupling happens

“I know what you’re going to say.

“You’re going to say ‘Ekin, I’ve really enjoyed spending time with you, but this is all too much for me. I’m really happy getting to know Danielle, goodbye’.

“That’s what you’re thinking,” Ekin said.

Curtis then replied: “I don’t believe you’ve been 100 per cent your authentic self, if you want the honest truth.”

Ekin snapped back: “I don’t believe that you can see that I’m a changed person.”

“I don’t know you beforehand,” Curtis said, which prompted Ekin to say: “You’ve been very judgemental.”

“I don’t know you beforehand, so I can’t say if you’ve changed,” he pressed.

Ekin then shouted: “That’s not fair for you to come at me and start criticising me for what you’ve seen on f****** TV.”

Curtis replied: “I’m not,” adding: “I’ve never watched you on TV, Ekin, I don’t know who you are.”

“I want it to be real and I want you to be 100 per cent real, and you’re saying you are,” he said.

Ekin insisted she was being herself, saying: “I don’t know whether to jump hoops for you, I can if you want.”

The pair suddenly made up when Curtis opened up about having previously “cut his mum out of his life”.

After the admission, Ekin gave Curtis a kiss.

Casey joked: “What a random weird 10 minutes that was, the whole situation was just weird.”

Airline launches two new flights to Spain from the UK just in time for summer

VUELING has introduced new flights from the UK to two Spanish destinations in time for summer.

The cost-friendly airline has revealed it has launched daily direct flights from London Heathrow to both Bilbao and Santiago de Compostela.

The colourful city of Bilbao is surrounded by green mountains and rivers[/caption]

Vueling already flies to these locations to and from London Gatwick with 21 weekly flights to Bilbao and 5 weekly flights to Santiago de Compostela.

But tickets for the new route are already on sale and the first Vueling flights from London Heathrow will take off at the end of March.

They will provide 26 weekly flights over the summer season.

Bilbao and Santiago de Compostela are the perfect place for your next break too.

Bilbao is a northern city in Spain surrounded by green mountains and is famous for its architecture.

The city is even small enough to walk from one end to the other within 30 minutes.

The Guggenheim Museum is a big hit for tourists and you can visit for €30 (£25.14).

The 260,000sqft museum is home to the famous ‘Puppy’ instillation by Jeff Koon, which sits outside 40ft-tall sculpture is covered with more than 38,000 flowers.

Another great sight is the Basque Country, which has beaches popular with surfers.

There are also lots of stunning coastal villages to explore like Biscay and Labraza that have cobbled streets and a medieval history.

Bilbao has become well-known with for their pintxos, which is their regional tapas[/caption]

If you want to explore the coast, head to Juan de Gaztelugatxe, famous from the TV series, Game of Thrones.

For any foodies planning a trip, Bilbao has become well-known with for their pintxos (Bilbao’s tapas), txuletas (sirloin steak) and kokotxas (fish stew), which are all worth tasting.

Santiago de Compostela is the capital of northwest Spain’s Galicia region and is know for its magnificent cathedral and Old Town.

The city has an interesting history too as its part of the St James pilgrimage.

The paths lead to the shrine of the apostle James in the cathedral, so there are plenty of walking routes around with scenic countryside views.

In the city centre you’ll find lots of food markets, like Mercado de Abastos, where you can try fresh seafood, tapas, regional wines and the city’s famous Santiago cake.

It’s also the region where they make their own Galician cider with nothing but apples and yeast.

Hear what more we had to say about Bilbao when Sun Travel paid the city a visit.

And why we loved the coastline of Santiago de Compostela.

Where should you sit on a Vueling plane?

Vueling allows passengers to pick which seats they want before they jet off, and they offer a couple of options at different costs....

For extra legroom pick the very front of the plane, row 1, has the best of the legroom – but it’s also the priciest. There’s also more space on rows at the exit around the middle of the plane.

For getting served food first, cabin crew will come from both the front and the back with the trolley of treats, so the first few rows and the ones at the back will be seen to first.

According to SeatGuru, the worst seats for Vueling flights are on the back row. That’s because not only can the seats not recline, but they are also close to the toilets and the crew area so it’ll probably be quite noisy.

Huge Noughties Indie group announce massive new album 19 years after breakout record

KOOKS frontman Luke Pritchard knows how to write a banger, with You Don’t Love Me, Ooh La and Naive from their 2006 debut album becoming some of the biggest songs of the Noughties.

Today, the indie group are back with new single Never Know, from their seventh album Never/Know, out on May 9.

The 11-track record is a return to form, with the poetic romanticism of Sunny Babe and the rockier Compass Will Fracture and Tough At The Top so good I put them on repeat.

A cover of Wings’s Arrow Through Me is also masterful.

“It’s the best record we’ve done for ages,” Luke tells me as we meet at The Groucho Club in central London.

“I knew exactly what I wanted to do. Tough At The Top has a heavy Polics influence — they’re one of my favourite bands.

“Chinatown’s a bit like a later Sting. Compass Will Fracture is garage rock — I wanted to recapture the moment I first heard The White Stripes.”

He adds: “With us, it’s like how cheesy things come cool. It’s like when Rihanna’s Anti album came out, it was so influential and had that big cheesy Santana sample on it. It became cool again.

“We had a moment of people thinking we’re kind of cheesy but then the fashion comes back around again.”

Last night Luke and his bandmates Hugh Harris and Alexis Nunez put on an indie club night at Notting Hill Arts Club to celebrate Never/Know.

They will be announcing their upcoming tour in the UK and US later this year, and Luke adds: “Not to toot our own trumpet but we sold out our last US tour and we hadn’t played America for four years.

“Social media has made us global now. Naive was the 66th most played song on Spotify last month. They’ve upped the size of the shows for the next US tour. It’s crazy.”

Album tracks Echo Chamber and Let You Go are indie heartbreak classics and I tell Luke I can imagine Gen Z teens making them anthems for their break-ups.

“I’ve always been more emotional and that was what set us apart,” Luke explains as he opens up about coming up alongside bands such as Kasabian and Arctic Monkeys in the Noughties.

Looking across at him it’s clear Luke has found his happy place with his wife Ellie and their gorgeous sons Julian and Wesley.

His Instagram features Reels of them dancing, and a laughing Luke adds: “Julian loves female power pop — his favourite song is Coconuts by Kim Petras.

“Wesley loves Bhangra. I play guitar to them a lot, they love Sunny Baby. Julian sings along and if he hears it he’ll say, ‘Daddy’s song’.”

With us, it’s like how cheesy things come cool

Luke Pritchard

Touring this time around is going to be a far different affair for Luke, who has previously hit the road with Noel and Liam Gallagher and Sir Mick Jagger.

“Charlie Watts [the late Rolling Stones drummer] told me a story about this fight when I was on tour with them,” Luke says.

“One of the girlfriends was getting into it and Charlie was about to have a fight, turned around and all the other Stones had run off.

“And Mick burst into our dressing room when we were naked.”

Of Liam, Luke adds: “I first played with him at five shows in Australia and he was in the best form.

“I hadn’t seen him for ten years and I was like, ‘He’s a rock star’. He had this swagger.”

With the full Glastonbury line-up yet to be announced, I wonder if The Kooks will be adding a slot to their string of shows this year.

Coyly, Luke replies: “We’re always talking about it. It’s always shrouded in mystery. You never know, there’s always a possibility.”

That would be my summer made.

Bournemouth vs Liverpool preview

I think it’s quite clear what everyone’s thinking ahead of Saturday’s showdown between Bournemouth and Liverpool.

There’s no possible way that this isn’t a classic.

They might also be questioning why on earth it isn’t being televised in the UK, but that’s a story for a different time.

In any case, an absolutely irresistible force and a winning machine do battle in front of 11,379 lucky people at a sold-out Vitality Stadium this Saturday.

Bournemouth arrive in tremendous form having produced masterclasses against both Newcastle and Nottingham Forest, winning 4-1 and 5-0 on successive weekends.

Andoni Iraola’s side extended their club-record unbeaten run to 11 Premier League games, a run which leaves them in seventh position and just one off the Champions League qualification places.

Iraola’s “blizzard of attacking football” has seen them take the scalps of Arsenal, Manchester City, Manchester United and Newcastle this season.

And there’s real optimism they can add Premier League leaders Liverpool to that growing list this weekend – all while juggling an injury crisis.

However, Bournemouth have lost 11 of their 12 Premier League games against sides starting the day top of the table.

Perhaps the biggest indicator of Bournemouth’s progress is the fact Liverpool manager Arne Slot left NINE of his regular first team squad out for their trip to PSV.

The Reds missed the chance to finish the Champions League’s inaugural league phase with a 100% record, and it’s quite clear that was because the game on the south coast is of much more significance.

Liverpool hold a six-point advantage over second-placed Arsenal heading into this weekend’s round of top-flight fixtures.

And fresh legs will be required to maintain that lead given the club play seven games in February, including league matches against Merseyside rivals Everton, Manchester City and Newcastle.

History suggests they’ll kick-start that run in a positive fashion.

Liverpool have only failed to score in one of their 15 Premier League meetings with Bournemouth, netting at least three goals in 10 of these 15 games. They’ve also won 11 of their last 12 games against the Cherries.

Ryan Christie is our selection for a card at the Vitality Stadium this weekend. The 29-year-old has picked up eight bookings in 22 Premier League appearances this season – including one in the reverse fixture at Anfield and three in his last five.

Only three top-flight players have committed more fouls than Christie (11) over the last four league games.

Tackles

It should be an extremely busy afternoon for Bournemouth’s Tyler Adams.

The midfielder, 25, has made the most tackles per 90 minutes (4.8) and most interceptions per 90 minutes (2.7) of any Premier League player this season. He’s made 10 tackles in Bournemouth’s last two games against Newcastle and Nottingham Forest, and should be fired up against this attacking Liverpool side.
