Ryan Reynolds created woke feminist character in last Deadpool film ‘to mock wife’s court rival co-star’

RYAN Reynolds created a woke feminist character in his latest Deadpool film to mock his wife’s court rival co-star, legal papers allege.

The Hollywood A-lister, 48, was said to have come up with Nicepool as a “vicious caricature” of Justin Baldoni.

He even had the character shot dead by Ladypool, voiced by his wife Blake Lively, who is locked in a £320million defamation battle with Justin, 41.

Nicepool also had a man bun hairstyle like Justin and referenced alleged comments at the centre of their dispute.

The scenes in Deadpool & Wolve-rine “were intended to be a transparent, mocking portrayal of Reynolds’ warped perception of Baldoni”, the legal documents allege.

The claims are in a 224-page filing by Justin’s lawyers as the defamation case potentially heads to court in New York tomorrow.

Justin fell out with Blake, 47, on the set of This Ends With Us, with both sides accused of trashing the other’s reputation.

According to the legal papers, Mr Reynolds “demanded” that Mr Baldoni apologise for the treatment of his wife.

Mr Baldoni claims that the Nicepool scenes “were intended to be a transparent and mocking portrayal of Reynolds’ warped perception of Baldoni”.

The Nicepool character even referenced issues which had come up during the filming of This Ends With Us, it was claimed.

The document states: “Nicepool commented inappropriately on a female character’s attractive body after childbirth and excused his remark by claiming he identified as a feminist.

“Nicepool also made reference to an ‘intimacy coordinator’ and even used a hairstyle that mirrored Baldoni’s previously longer hair”.

Fury as MoD spends £40k a week on LIMOS in ‘pointless waste’ of money

THE MoD spent £40,000 a week on chauffeur-driven cars, we can reveal.

Its bill for taxis and limos in the year to April was up 45 per cent to £2.1million.

The outlay would pay the annual salary of 83 private soldiers earning £25,200 a year.

One car for defence officials cost £4,500 for a 1,060-mile return journey from barracks in Chepstow to Inverness.

Another staff round trip from Loughborough to Scotland’s east coast set the cash-strapped MoD back by £3,500.

Our investigation, using Freedom of Information laws, also revealed a £3,000 car ferried officials around the country then back to the Midlands.

William Yarwood, of the TaxPayers’ Alliance, called it a “pointless waste” of money.

It comes as experts warn the UK is vulnerable to attack due to lack of investment in the Armed Forces.

Former MP and Defence Committee chair Tobias Ellwood said: “If people were aware of how vulnerable we are, there would be a greater outcry to spend more on defence.”

The MoD blamed the previous government. It said: “We are committed to securing value for money for taxpayers and cracking down on waste.”

Third soldier on board doomed Black Hawk chopper revealed as former White House aide, 28, as DC crash victims remembered

THE third soldier on board the doomed Black Hawk military helicopter which crashed into an American Airlines plane has been named.

Female co-pilot Rebecca Lobach, 28, tragically died in the midair collision alongside 66 others including two fellow soldiers and 64 passengers and crew on the jet.

Her identity was revealed by the US Army as they praised her loyalty and achievements for her country.

Captain Lobach was an aviation officer in the Army between July 2019 up until her death on Wednesday.

During her almost six years of service, she had been awarded the Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal and Army Service Ribbon

Lobach also worked as a White House aide under the Biden administration in the years prior to the tragic crash.

One of her heartbroken friends said just last month Lobach escorted Ralph Lauren through the White House as he accepted the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

A heartfelt statement from her family was issued through the US Army, it read: “We are devastated by the loss of our beloved Rebecca.

“She was a bright star in all our lives. She was kind, generous, brilliant, funny, ambitious and strong.

“No one dreamed bigger or worked harder to achieve her goals.”

Her friends described her to CBS 17 News as “golden” and said she was a bright light, a capable pilot, and always a good friend.

Lobach was from Durham, North Carolina and had a degree in biology from the University of North Carolina, said her pals.

The other two soldiers on the Black Hawk when it plunged into the icy river were identified earlier this week as Chief Warrant Officer Andrew Eaves, 39, and Staff Sergeant Ryan Austin O’Hara, 28.

The body of one of the men and a woman, believed to be Lobach, have been recovered from the Potomac River so far, a law enforcement source close with the recovery efforts told CBS News.

Officials say the military aircraft was flying in the middle of an American Airline’s descent path over Washington DC.

All 60 passengers on the plane, including four crew members, died after it erupted into a fireball and shattered into three pieces due to the chilling impact.

Both aircraft plunged into the river as emergency operations were launched.

Hopes for survivors quickly faded as rescue crews worked through the night in dark, cold conditions.

After just a few hours the mission changed from a rescue to a recover operation with all passengers feared dead.

Officials confirmed there are no survivors – marking it the deadliest US air crash since November 2001.

Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy admitted the crash was “absolutely” preventable as investigations were quickly launched into the cause of the disaster.

Black boxes that could hold crucial clues have been dredged up from the plane wreckage in the Potomac River.

Officials say a preliminary report is expected to be issued within 30 days as divers continue to recover pivotal debris.

But as the nation grieves, frustrated families of the victims are demanding answers over how what should have been a routine flight to Ronald Reagan Airport ended in disaster.

It later emerged at least two other pilots reported near-misses with helicopters while landing at the airport in the last three years.

A passenger flight even had to abort a landing at the airport just a day before the tragedy.

Republic Airways Flight 4514 was forced to back out of touching down and had to make a second approach after a helicopter appeared near its flight path, the Washington Post reported.

Duffy yesterday said he agreed with Donald Trump that the crash “looks like it should have been prevented”.

He insisted, however, there was “not a breakdown” in communication between the helicopter’s pilots and the American Airlines flight.

Average length of a daytime quickie is getting shorter, shock sex survey reveals

THE average daytime quickie now lasts just two minutes, a survey reveals.

A spontaneous bonk in 2023 took two and a half minutes — but got shorter last year.

Couple kissing passionately.
The average time of a daytime quickie is going down

The two-minute romp usually take place between 10am and 3pm, the survey shows.

That compares with 4mins 10secs of passion during a morning lay-in from 6am to 10am.

A WFH lunchtime love-in — usually between noon and 2.30pm — typically lasts 4mins 30secs.

Afternoon antics — from 2.30pm to 5pm — stretch to 5mins 4secs.

Teatime frolics from 5pm to 8pm slow to 5mins 10secs.

“Normal” nookie from 8pm to midnight lasts 5mins 24 secs.

But the most lingering lust happens after midnight — and takes a leisurely 7mins 10secs, according to the survey by affairs dating website Illicit Encounters.

Its relationships expert, Jessica Leoni, said: “Brits like their romps like their tea — quick, satisfying and at all hours of the day.

“The humble quickie is standing the test of time — albeit getting even speedier.

“Perhaps we’re all busier than ever. Britain’s bonking round the clock.”

Illicit Encounters questioned 2,000 members for its survey.

But it has all gone PC as she shuts down compliments on her appearance at work, makes a remark on a consensual kiss and is lectured by a snowflake nanny.

She hires the child help following the death of husband Mark Darcy (Colin Firth).

Introducing her son, she says: “This is Billy — the science genius.”

The nanny remarks: “Oh, you mustn’t pigeonhole children.”

Bridget also says Billy is a straight-As student but is told: “It’s not about the result, it’s about the journey.”

The character embarks on a romance with hunky toyboy Roxster (Leo Woodall, 28) after they match on a dating app.

On a first date, he asks: “Is it alright if I kiss you?”

She replies: “Aw, a generation who ask.”

Bridget returns to work as a TV producer and her boss says she looks “hot”.

She responds: “I think you will find that sort of language is a little outmoded in the workplace.”

However, while she no longer smokes, she still swigs white wine from the bottle.

The film hits cinemas February 13.
