TIGER WOODS had golf fans fuming with his cheeky April Fool’s prank ahead of the Masters.
Woods, 49, will miss next week’s Masters at Augusta National following surgery on a ruptured Achilles in March.

In fact, the 15-time major winner is actually expected to miss out on all four majors this season with his injury issues.
But Woods managed to make light of his stint away from the fairways, teasing fans by claiming he had undergone a miracle recovery and would be able to tee up at Augusta next Thursday.
He wrote on X: “I can’t believe I am saying this, but a few weeks after rupturing my left Achilles, the sleeping in a hyperbaric chamber plus the explosive lifts my doctors and trainers have me ready to play the Masters next week!
“Can’t wait! See y’all on the course.”
Fans desperate to see one of the sporting greats return to golf‘s most prestigious competition were over the moon with the announcement, only to have their excitement ripped away by a follow-up post.
Just six minutes later, Woods added: “P.S. April Fools my Achilles is still a mess :)”.
Devastated fans reacted to having their hopes dashed in their own posts on social media.
One wrote: “This is the meanest thing that has ever been done on the internet”.

While another fumed: “You absolute dog”.
A third posted: “Don’t do this to us Tiger”.
And a fourth joked: “I just placed my life savings on you winning the Masters. I’m ruined”.
It’s not the first time Woods has caused a stir with his social media activity in recent weeks, after he announced his romance with Donald Trump Jr’s ex-wife Vanessa on Instagram in March.
The five-time Masters champ posted some snaps alongside Vanessa, 47, with a heartfelt caption.
It read: “Love is in the air and life is better with you by my side! We look forward to our journey through life together.
“At this time we would appreciate privacy to all those close to our hearts.”
While President Donald Trump even gave Woods’ relationship with his former daughter-in-law the seal of approval.
He said: “I’m very happy for both, let them both be happy. They’re both great.”
