LOVE Island has been thrust into chaos once again with ANOTHER star quitting and flying home.

Quitting the show before she even entered the Love Island: All Stars villa, Lucinda Strafford touched down in South Africa for the show before turning around and flying back to the UK.

A source told The Sun: “Lucinda was asked to come and do Love Island again and she was really ready to give it another go.

“But she ended up being in holding for too long and wasn’t happy about it.

“She decided it would be too late for her to go in and make a connection.

“It was a tough call but she decided to head home.

“She thinks it’s for the best and this season just wasn’t for her.”

And now Lucinda has shared a very cryptic post, in which she confirms that this year Love Island: All Stars “wasn’t for her”.

A video of her in a car beaming with excitement and happiness was shared on TikTok with a very defiant message.

The video had writing over the top of it which read: “Respectfully, this is how it feels knowing Love Island All Stars is not for you this year.”

The short and upbeat clip got tongues wagging in the comment section, with one person saying: “The mountain in the background looks familiar, are you sure??”

CHANGED HER MIND

Someone then speculated: “I think she was going to go on but has changed her mind now so she’s leaving.”

While a third said: “Camps Bay/Clifton are very distinct.”

A fourth then echoed that the area she was driving through looked familiar when they said: “Ya we know Cape Town lol.”

“Next year girl,” said a fifth.

While a sixth penned: Maybe she wanted Scott and now he’s gone.”

‘TRUST YOUR GUT’

Lucinda didn’t share just one cryptic video, because she shared another that saw her on a plane giving her followers some advice.

“Trust your gut,” she said defiantly.

She added: “If something feels off, it most definitely is off.

“You know yourself more than anyone else. So definitely make sure to trust your gut.

“Also, if things are out of your control, let it have freedom of your mind, there’s nothing you can do about it.”

Lucinda shot to fame when she appeared on the reality-dating show in 2021.

As an islander in season seven, Lucinda entered as a bombshell on day nine before being dumped on day 28.

During her time on the show Lucinda was coupled up with three different guys including Danny Bibby, Brad McClelland and Aaron Francis.

After her UK Love Island stint, Lucinda headed down under for Love Island Australia around one year ago.

Entering the Aussie villa on day two, she was then crowned runner-up on day 29 alongside then-beau Zac Nunns.

Gonzalez officially joined Porto from Barcelona in 2023 and has since made 68 appearances, scoring nine goals and providing nine assists.

Prior to his move to Portugal, he spent two years in Barca’s first team and made 37 appearances.

AN ex-Tory MP has left behind politics and joined the Ukrainian International Legion to fight against Putin’s terror invasion.

The former deputy chair of the Conservative Party, Jack Lopresti, who lost his seat at the last general election will now be based in Kyiv to aid logistical support for Ukraine’s embattled frontline forces.

Lopresti previously represented Filton and Bradley Stoke in Gloucestershire for 14 years.

The ex-MP had visited Ukraine before – while in parliament – and was a strong voice pushing the government to send more money to Volodymyr Zelensky.

He was also the parliamentary chairman of the Conservative Friends of Ukraine group.

Lopresti went back to Ukraine in November, after he lost his seat in July, to help a charity.

The ex-MP revealed he has since decided to join the Ukrainian military as a volunteer.

Lopresti said: “I did apply to join the legion in November. It took a while to find the best unit to utilize my experience and skills.”

He will not be fighting on the frontline, but his military duties and focus include foreign relations and diplomacy, weapons procurement, and some work with veterans’ charities in Ukraine.

A statement on X said: “He is currently serving with the International Legion of Ukraine Defence Intelligence.

“In addition to his military duties his focus includes foreign relations and diplomacy, weapons procurement and supporting veterans and other charities operating in Ukraine.”

The military will not be a completely new journey for the ex-MP as he served as a corporal in the UK Army Reserve, before hitting the world of Westminster.

Lopresti joined a cross-party UK Parliamentary delegation that travelled across Ukraine last week.

He revealed this journey included a visit to Kyiv’s main children’s hospital, veterans’ rehabilitation centres, and met with military commanders in Kharkiv.

Lopresti said he believed he was fighting for Ukraine but also for Europe.

He said: “It is a huge honour and an immense privilege for me to serve in the Ukrainian military and help the gallant and amazing Ukrainian people in any way I can.

“They are not only fighting for their freedom and their right to exist as an independent and sovereign nation but they are also fighting for all of us in Europe and the rest of the free world.

“If Putin wins in Ukraine we all know he won’t stop there.”

The ex-Tory also issued a terrifying warning about Putin‘s allies.

Lopresti said: “Dictators have to be defeated or they never stop.

“The ramifications would also be enormous for the rest of the world particularly in places like Taiwan.

“With the authoritarian axis of dictatorships – China, Iran and North Korea – on the march and clearly working together Ukraine must be supported and given the tools to win for all our sakes.”

She claimed the “preposterous” driver had taken “umbrage” when she stopped her car to let a pedestrian cross at a red light in the in the Parsons Green area.

The man is said to have then tried to undertake her car at the red lights.

Ms Vine described how the driver then followed her for around half a mile, before “ramming his car into the back of mine”.

Taking to Instagram after the collision, she wrote: “Today my daughter and I were in the car. Behind us, this man.

“He seemed to take umbrage when I stopped to let a pedestrian cross (the lights ahead were red anyway). He tried to undertake me, but failed.

“He then tailgated me for about half a mile, gesticulating like a demented ape, before eventually ramming his car into the back of mine.

“My daughter was very scared, so I just moved off, having decided he was too out of control to confront. He then fell back, and turned off onto a side road.”

Ms Vine said she has reported the driver to police.

She also claimed the man had “picked on the wrong b****”.

Ms Vine is the ex-wife of former Tory Cabinet Minister Mr Gove.

The pair married in 2001, two years after meeting.

During their relationship, the then couple had two children together.

However, they finalised their divorce in January 2022 – having announced they were separating in July the previous year.

The columnist later confirmed in an interview with Tatler that her ex-husband’s political career played a huge role in the breakdown of their relationship.

Ms Vine is also godmother to former Prime Minister David Cameron‘s daughter Florence and has spoken of her “close friendship” with the former PM and his wife Samantha.

Fans took to the comments to tell Charlotte what a unique and beautiful name she’d chosen for her little one.

The couple were left terrified just weeks ago after her £1million home was burgled – while they were upstairs.

Jake, 33, revealed on social media that a gang of masked robbers armed with machetes stormed inside their stunning mansion.

The Sun later told how the pair have taken extra measures to make sure that they are free from danger.

Just weeks after that ordeal, the TV personality was rushed to hospital shortly afterwards where it was revealed she had a urine infection.

Scared Jake shared at the time:  “We are not having a good week!!!

“Now Charlotte has been rushed in to hospital as she is having serious pains in her stomach, they are running all the necessary checks to make sure Charlotte and baby are ok.”

And in a further blow, on Boxing Day Charlotte’s beloved grandma – her dad’s mum – passed away.

Sharing a picture of them together with her daughter Alba, Charlotte shared: “We lost an amazing woman last night, kind, wonderful and the most loving family member.

“Always incredibly proud of me and my achievements! And always the very first to boast about me. I will never forget how much she supported me so dearly! We will miss you so much, She loved little Alba so much!”

BOXING star John Cooney is fighting for his life in intensive care after doctors discovered a brain injury after his latest fight.

The Irish fighter, 28, suffered defeat in the first defence of his Celtic super-featherweight boxing title on Saturday.

Cooney was beaten by Welshman Nathan Howells at Belfast’s Ulster Hall with a stoppage in the ninth round.

But after being treated by medics at the fight, he was quickly stretchered to the Royal Victoria Hospital for further tests.

And it was there that doctors discovered Cooney had suffered a bleed on his brain.

He was immediately rushed into surgery for an operation.

And Cooney is now in intensive care, with his uncle Christopher claiming the star is “fighting for his life.”

A further statement from his management team at MDH Promotions read: “Following John Cooney’s epic title fight at the Ulster Hall on Saturday evening, John was assessed by the onsite medical team of the British Boxing Board of Control and swiftly taken to Belfast’s Royal Victoria Hospital for further treatment.

“On arrival at the RVH it was discovered that John had an intracranial haemorrhage and underwent immediate surgery to relieve the pressure on his brain.

“John is currently in the intensive care unit and in the hospital’s capable hands of the ICU team.

“John’s fiancée Emaleen and his parents Hughie & Tina would like to thank everyone for their private messages of support, and would ask that they keep John in their thoughts and prayers at this time as he faces his toughest battle.”

Cooney had been the Celtic super-featherweight champion since November 2023.

That evening at the 3Arena Dublin saw him beat Liam Gaynor on the undercard of Katie Taylor vs Chantelle Cameron.

Cooney then spent a year out with a hand injury.

And his last fight came in October with a win against Tanzania’s Tampela Maharusi in London.

DANI DYER has revealed she’s had major plastic surgery, spilling the details on her latest tweakments.

Dani, 28, revealed that she has had a nose job after a boy called her “carrot nose” at school and “used to cry about it.”

Her dad, Danny Dyer, confessed that he was against it at first, but came round to the idea as long as she was “happy.”

This isn’t the first time she has mentioned her nose job as she opened up about her insecurity in her book ‘What Would Dani Do‘.

She shared how she was taunted over the shape of her nose, prompting her to consider rhinoplasty from the age of 12, but couldn’t afford it.

Dani explained how they “shaved it down” and has been tempted to get another nose job but won’t – much to Danny’s relief.

Dani was also candid about the lip fillers she had done in her book, but didn’t like them because they made her look too big. 

She added that her nan “didn’t like them” and her dad was “unhappy.”

The reality star then said that she no longer wants to have plastic surgery, because she doesn’t want to let down her fans or make it seem acceptable to change the way you look. 

However, six years after her book release, she admitted on the podcast “I do love my Botox” fillers and that she is getting salmon sperm injection under her eyes for brightening.

Meanwhile, her dad Danny Dyer admitted that Botox wasn’t for him and wants to age gracefully.

He recalled a time one of the EastEnders bosses arranged a meeting with the cast and asked them to stop getting Botox.

Danny praised his former on-screen wife, Kellie Bright, for not wearing makeup as her character Linda Carter.

He also joked to “bring Mick back” as Linda is having a “hard time” on the BBC soap since he was killed off.

Dani recently revealed details about her upcoming wedding plans ahead of her impending nuptials to West Ham player Jarrod Bowen.

During a recent Q&A on Instagram, Dani was asked about her plans for the wedding including how big the celebrations would be.

One fan said to Dani: “Are you having a small intimate wedding or a big one?”

In response, Dani admitted she was aiming to keep the affair as low-key as possible.

She said: “I would say its as intimate and small as it can be!

“I honestly can see why people go and elope and then have a big party because the guest list [I] honestly found soooo difficult!

“I’m getting married in like 5 months. I can’t believe it.”

Later during the question and answer session with her fans, Dani confirmed that she would be changing her famous moniker upon marriage.

However, she clarified that she would double barrel her name in order to keep the Dyer legacy and thus becoming Dani Dyer-Bowen.

Dani and Jarrod, who share twins Summer and Star together, first began dating in 2022.

Jarrod proposed during a boat trip in Ibiza over the summer and now their wedding is just five months away.

GLASTONBURY fans have worked out that one popular band will be unlikely to appear at the festival despite heavy speculation.

Touring dates for the band appear to rule then out from taking to the stage at Worthy Farm in Somerset.

Nine Inch Nails had been heavily tipped to make an appaearacne at the festival but it now seems that they won’t be there at all.

Whilst the group will be on tour during June, their schedule places them out in mainland Europe the same weekend as the music festival.

The rockers currently have gigs lined up in Switzerland, Austria and the Netherlands during Glasto weekend.

Whilst one date in their schedule remains free, fans of the group think it is unlikely they will jet into the UK to play the gig with such short time in-between their already scheduled arena gigs.

For fans of the group, they could still catch the band in the UK earlier in the month.

Earlier in the month, the band have headlining shows at The O2 Arena in London as well as the Co-op Live in Manchester.

Having viewed their tour dates, one fan declared: “From their tour dates I doubt they would fly back in between other gigs.”

It led another to comment: “That’s a damn shame.”

Rockers Nine Inch Nails first formed in 1998.

The group is led by singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Trent Reznor.

He is supported by Atticus Rose who joined the group full-time in 2016 having previously just appeared at live shows.

Trent was the sole full-time member of the band for many years and was joined by a string of musicians for their tours and album sessions.

Their highest-charting album in the UK, Hesitation Marks, was released in 2013 and reached number two on the UK Albums Charts.
