AN ambitious tech firm is looking to transform the camping industry with a futuristic-looking, all-electric caravan.
Little-known firm Pebble, based in California, US, has revealed the Flow – a caravan that boasts an innovative design and advanced technology that’s a far cry from traditional caravans.

Not known, clear with picture deskIt provides plenty of light and space inside[/caption]
The Pebble Flow features an aerodynamic and minimalist exterior, while its high-tech systems are controlled via smart app controls.
Measuring 7.6 metres in length, with a shape that makes it 300 per cent more streamlined than a conventional caravan, the Flow’s primary aim is to improve energy consumption and range.
Inside, it features a well-thought-out layout that offers plenty of space and light – helped by the large windows that provide a 270-degree view, including one that opens out to allow easy access to the outside.
The kitchen area is equipped with a range of modern appliances, such as an induction hob, microwave, and fridge.
At the rear, a double bed can convert into a compact desk, complete with USB-C ports that are perfect for those working on the go.
Additionally, owners can even pay a little extra for a Starlink internet connection, which allows them to stay connected even in the most remote locations.
Powered by a 45 kWh LFP battery, the Flow can run for up to seven days self-sufficiently, with solar cells on the roof providing a continuous supply of energy.
It also acts as a charging station for electric vehicles, making it the perfect companion for an EV on the go.
Perhaps most striking is the Flow’s driving assistance tech, which allows the caravan to partially drive itself thanks to two electric motors.
This means autonomous hitching and manoeuvring can be controlled at the touch of a button.
It even features a ‘Magic Hitch’ system that allows it to dock automatically with the towing vehicle.
Currently only priced in the US, the Flow starts at $109,500, which is roughly £88,000.
Adding the optional ‘Magic Pack’, which includes the two drive motors, raises the price to $125,000, or £100,000.
The Italian design house has recently showcased concept designs for its AI Transformer Home Trailer, or ‘AI-THt’.
This sleek design, created as part of Pininfarina’s partnership with AC Future – an American firm that builds “sustainable, transformer homes” – functions as a towable ‘home trailer’, a static ‘home unit’, and even a ‘drivable home’.
Like the Flow, the drivable version is equipped with self-driving technology, although the firm has yet to reveal any specific details of the automated driving system.
Additionally, they have not disclosed any figures regarding range or performance.

A FAST food giant will bring back a ‘holy grail’ burger after it was axed five years ago.
KFC is rolling out a new and improved version of its Double Down burger, which was last seen on the menu nearly half a decade ago.
KFC Double Down is making a return to menus
The burger, which features two breaded chicken breasts instead of a sandwich bun was last seen on the menus in 2019.
KFC said it is now bringing the delight back, but with a twist.
The snack will now also feature a hashbrown wedged between the chicken buns along with cheese and KFC Supercharger sauce.
It will be good for lovers of the fried food snack, who have given the burger glowing reviews every time it returns to menus.
One Reddit user had this to say about it: “This is the holy grail of fast food.
“The stoner in me will never forget this marvel of culinary wizardry. The arteries in me probably won’t either.’”
While another fan said: “I need the KFC double down in my life again.”
A third added: “Double down burger at KFC is to die for.”
The burger is making a come back on February 10, meaning customers have just one week to wait.
It will cost £7.49 as a single item, or £9.49 if you want to add fries and a drink.
A box meal including the burger, fries, a side drink and two hot wings will cost £11.49.
But if you want to get your hands on the treat you will need to act fast.
It will only be on menus until March 16, giving customers just five weeks to try it out.
You can order it on online via KFC Delivery, Uber Eats or Just Eat.
Or you can visit one of KFC’s 800 plus restaurants in the UK.
You can find your nearest site by visiting www.kfc.co.uk/kfc-near-me.
Phoebe Syms, brand manager at KFC UK said: “The Double Down isn’t just a menu item—it’s a KFC icon with a cult following like no other.
“This is all about giving our fans the ultimate Double Down experience they’ve been craving—but they’ll need to be quick, as it’s only here for a limited time.”
WHAT’S NEW IN FAST FOOD?
KFC is not the only fast food restaurant to shake up its menu this month.
As we head into spring, Mc Donald’s will add the Philly Cheese Stack, Raspberry and White Chocolate Pie and a Mars McFlurry to the menu.
It’s the first time customers will be able to get their hands on the seasonal burger since last September.
It features two beef patties with a cheese sauce, cheese slices, grilled and crispy onions and pickles served in a toasted bun.
The burger will cost £5.29 on its own, or get a medium meal for £6.99.
The dessert comes with a crispy pink pastry filled with a smooth white chocolate ganache and raspberry compote.
It made its debut for Valentines Day back in February 2024, and it has not featured on the menu since.
Finally, McFlurry fans will have a chance to mix the classic ice-cream with an iconic chocolate bar.
How to eat for cheap
Eating out can burn a hole in your budget, says Sun Savers editor Lana Clements, but there are a few tricks to get a meal for less.
SECRET EATS: Mystery diners can get a free meal in exchange for giving feedback on their experience.
There are a number of firms that recruit people to dine and review.
You need to sign up to one that will give you a location and a brief on what to asses on the visit.
Try Hgem, which works with restaurants including Dishoom, Flat Iron and Brewdog.
Normally, you pay for the food and then get reimbursed for your visit. Apply at mysterydining.net.
Service Scan works with fast food outlets as well as top-end gourmet establishments. See service-scan.com.
LEARNERS: You can get cut-price food by sampling menus from trainee chefs. Catering colleges often have restaurants with delicious meals that are whipped up by students.
They are usually only open in term time and you will have to dig around to find your nearest venue.
For example, The Stables Restaurant is part of Oaklands College in Hertfordshire. Or you could try the Scholars Restaurant at City of Glasgow College.
DO IT FOR THE KIDS: During the holidays, numerous chains run kids-eat-free or cheap offers that cut the cost of going out as a family.
For example previous offers have seen up to two children get a free meal all day at Bills when one adult ordered a main dish. The kids’ menu includes mac and cheese, as well as fish fingers and chips.
At Subway, children got a 4in sub, snack and drink for free when an adult bought a foot-long sub.

EIGHT flying cars could soon take to the skies – from a lifesaving drone-like helicopter to a Batmobile EV fighter jet.
Manufacturing giants have been working on developing flying cars, officially called VTOL (vertical take-off and landing) aircrafts, for several decades.
Xpeng AeroHT’s eVTOl, which packs into the boot of a carPorsche’s Batmobile-style flying carBMW’s Skai has a top speed of 118mph
In 2022, Alef Aeronautics launched the first electric version, or eVTOL aircraft – called “Model A”.
And now, the world’s biggest car brands are jumping on the trend too – with eight airborne cars almost ready to beat the traffic in style.
Xpeng AeroHT eVTOL
Chinese start-up Xpeng AeroHT has already unveiled its very own foldable drone-like helicopter.
The eVTOL is stowed in the boot of a huge car – called the Land Aircraft Carrier.
The futuristic combo was unveiled at CES 2025 – and pre-orders currently stand at around 3,000.
It’s due to go into mass production later this year before coming to customers in 2026.
But it won’t come cheap with a price tag somewhere “below $300,000”, according to TechCrunch.
Porsche/Boeing eVTOL
Luxury German manufacturer Porsche is also set to throw its hat in the eVTOL ring – with a concept first created back in 2019.
The prototype, conceived in collaboration with aircraft giant Boeing, looked a lot like the iconic Batmobile – with an all-black carbon-fibre design.
It had space for two passengers – and could even have an auto-pilot function.
Plus, it featured a rapid-efficiency battery pack and novel, bendable wings.
Neither brand has given an update on the status of the contraption – but punters are hoping it’ll still hit the market in the foreseeable future.
The Porsche eVTOL isn’t the only Batman-inspired flying car to be unveiled.
Next up is BMW‘s Skai eVTOL contraption – designed by the brand’s Designworks division.
It has an impressive top speed of 118mph – powered by six hydrogen-run electric motors.
US-based manufacturer Alaka’i paired up with Designworks to create the innovate model – which is expected to go for 400 miles at a time.
Skai also has a three-tier safety system – meaning there’s no need to panic if one of the motors gives out.
And, as a last resort, it can even deploy its own parachute.
Honda’s hybrid eVTOL
With its ever-developing eVTOL model, the Japanese heavyweight hopes to cut down travel times from five hours on the road to 2.5 hours in the sky.
Its concept – designed to emulate an F1-style experience in the air – has 10 rotors and can do around 250 miles.
Hyundai’s Supernal S-A2 debuted in 2024The Midnight was created by Archer and StellantisSuzuki’s SkyDrive has 12 motors
Toyota Joby eVTOL
The Toyota Joby, which has already undergone extensive checking, reaches a whopping airspeed of 250mph.
The Japanese brand has poured almost a billion pounds into the project – and has now set its sights on increasing the Joby’s vertical capability to 10,000ft.
At Stage Four of certification, this one could be taking the skies sometime soon.
Hyundai’s Supernal S-A2
Hyundai‘s design supremo Luc Donckerwolke has described this invention as “the true representation of auto meets aero”.
It has eight motors and an aerodynamic V-tail – and can cruise at 120mph for 40 miles.
And despite its powerhouse credentials, the brand claims it’ll be as quiet as a dishwasher.
Archer’s Midnight
The Midnight is an all-electric eVTOL created by Archer Aviation in collaboration with manufacturer Stellantis.
The company aims to produce two vehicles per month, starting soon – increasing to two a day by 2030.
It has been designed with the aim of taking punters short distances, such as across cities – with the battery only lasting around 100 miles.
Suzuki SkyDrive
Finally, Suzuki‘s two-passenger SkyDrive is set to debut in Osaka, Japan later this year.
It features 12 motors and can do about 25 miles so far, with a top speed of 62mph.

3 days agoLatest NewsComments Off on How will January transfer activity affect Dream Team? Starting prices revealed for new additions
THE January transfer window has officially slammed shut.
The only thing to do now is mull over what it all means for Dream Team managers.
Dream TeamDream Team bosses should always be aware of new options[/caption]
Aston Villa have bolstered their ranks with five new arrivals in an attempt to ensure a strong second half of the campaign.
Right-back Andres Garcia (£2.5m) and forward Donyell Malen (£2.9m) have joined on a permanent basis but it’s the Villains’ loanees who may appeal most to gaffers.
Defender Axel Disasi (£3.3m) has temporarily switched over from Chelsea while Marco Asensio (£3.5m) has joined from PSG.
The Spain international is an interesting prospect.
Dubbed a wonderkid in his younger years, the 29-year-old hasn’t quite lived up to expectations but he remains a talented player who is capable of significant contributions in the final third.
Asensio averages a goal or assist every 115.5 minutes in Ligue 1 since his transfer to PSG.
GettyVilla have bolstered their attacking options after Jhon Duran’s exit[/caption]
And he averaged a goal involvement every 165.3 minutes over eight seasons in La Liga despite being deemed a second-string option for most of his Real Madrid career.
Crucially, Asensio has been added to the game as a midfielder but it wouldn’t come as a shock if he played some minutes as a centre-forward.
Experienced Dream Team bosses will be the first to acknowledge the heady heights Marcus Rashford (£3.4m) is capable of reaching when everything clicks.
The England international scored 30 goals in all competitions for Manchester United in 2022/23 but his relationship with his boyhood club deteriorated under Erik ten Hag and Ruben Amorim.
If Unai Emery can restore the 27-year-old’s confidence then there could be more than a few Dream Team points up for grabs, especially with Villa assured of their place in the Champions League last 16.
Instagram / avfcofficialFresh start[/caption]
Manchester City have been the biggest spenders this winter.
Gaffers have already had a look at Abdukodir Khusanov (£3.2m) and Omar Marmoush (£4.5m); the former desperately struggled against Chelsea but the latter has looked bright in his two outings, without the points to show for it.
The defending champions’ deadline day signing of Nico Gonzalez (£3.5m) from Porto might turn a few heads.
In Rodri’s absence, midfield has been a problem area for Pep Guardiola in recent months and so the 23 year-old Spaniard could feasibly pin down a regular starting spot in double quick time if he hits ground running.
It would be unrealistic to expect a new signing to immediately fill the boots of the current Ballon d’Or holder but the prospect of fresh blood at Man City is an intriguing one from a Dream Team perspective.
AFPGonzalez is an adaptable midfielder[/caption]
Elsewhere, Mathys Tel (£3.5m) has agreed loan move to Tottenham with an option to buy in the summer.
The teenage winger was linked to several Premier League clubs throughout the window but ultimately chose Spurs after a conversation with Ange Postecoglou.
Tel has been limited to 253 league minutes for Bayern Munich this season, hence his desire to move, but will probably be thrown straight in at his new club amid Spurs’ injury crisis.
The Frenchman is still a developing talent but highly rated by those who have followed his career closely.
Categorised as a forward in Dream Team, it will be interesting to see how he is deployed by Postecoglou – attack-minded Spurs assets have done every well in Dream Team this season.
RexArsenal, Chelsea and Man United were also said to be interested in Tel[/caption]
The North Londoners have also strengthened in defence with the loan signing of centre-back Kevin Danso (£3.5m) from Lens.
Although gaffers will be wary of Spurs defenders who don’t offer an attacking threat.
Manchester United have added left-back Patrick Dorgu (£2.5m) to their ranks.
The 20 year-old Denmark international’s place in the pecking order is not yet clear but he’s impressed at Lecce since making his professional debut last season.
Finally, it will be interesting to see how Evan Ferguson (£2.7m) gets on at West Ham.
The Irish striker has previously enjoyed spells of relative popularity in Dream Team but he scored just one goal in Brighton colours this season before his loan switch to East London.
At the very least, Dream Team managers should be aware of new possibilities off the back of the January transfers window.

GettyThomas Tuchel is reportedly considering the Arsenal full-back[/caption]
With the Three Lions having struggled at left-back, Lewis-Skelly could be fast tracked into the senior squad.
Tuchel, 51, is said to hold some reservations over the Gunners teenager’s age and lack of experience.
Lewis-Skelly has not even yet debuted for England‘s Under-21s, let alone the senior side.
With Tuchel short at left-back, however, Lewis-Skelly has a chance to quickly becoming part of the squad.
According to The Times, Tuchel has twice personally checked in on the Arsenal academy graduate’s progress.
They add that England staff are “stepping up” their scouting of Lewis-Skelly.
Tuchel is set to take charge of the Three Lions for the first time against Albania at Wembley on March 21.
Three days later his side will host Latvia in a further World Cup qualifier.

And his local rugby club – Warrington Wolves – will honour his achievement by renaming the Halliwell Jones Stadium for their Super League opener against the Catalan Dragons later this month.
Lifelong Wolves fan Littler said: “It’s a dream come true that the club I’ve been a fan of since I was young has decided to name the stadium after me for a night!
“It’s an absolute honour and I can’t thank the club enough.”
Club CEO Karl Fitzpatrick said: “Luke’s achievements on the world stage have been nothing short of incredible.
“And we are immensely proud to celebrate his success with this special homecoming.
“He’s a true Warrington fan, and therefore renaming our stadium in his honour for our home opener is a fitting tribute.”

“We were talking about how we can recognise Luke’s incredible achievement and really celebrate the homecoming of the World Championship, well how about we rename the stadium?
