She forked out thousands on a suite in the Dorchester in central London, and hired a private dining room at the hotel’s luxury restaurant China Tang.
On the VIP guest list were some of her closest friends, including actress Sadie Frost, 59, plus fashion designers Stella McCartney, 53, and Jade Jagger, 53.
Thursday’s night out evoked memories of her legendary parties from decades ago.
Now a mother of one, she was joined at China Tang by Lila, 22, her equally glamorous daughter with ex Jefferson Hack.
Kate went braless in a daring black jumpsuit which included silver and gold detailing.
Her outfit was matched to her birthday cake, which was a two-tier black affair with gold detailing – topped with an edible pink high-heeled shoe.
Keen to keep the party going, Kate wrapped up in a faux fur jacket and headed to West London with her famous pals.
She hired out The Globe in Notting Hill – one of the capital’s oldest nightclubs — where they partied until the early hours.

BRITISH boxers have been reminded to avoid a doctor infamous for boasting about doping loopholes.
Disgraced Dr Usman Sajjad hit the headlines in 2022 following Conor Benn’s two failed drug tests and shameful cover-up.
British boxers have been reminded to avoid working with controversial doctor Usman SajjadRichard Pelham / The SunSajjad hit the headlines three years ago after Conor Benn failed two drug tests[/caption]
PASajjad has repeatedly boasted claiming to have worked with Tyson Fury[/caption]
In a baffling move, the medical man had guested on podcasts and YouTube shows explaining in detail how fighters cheat and get away with it.
The overweight GP had used social media to reveal he specialises in hypogonadism, the male menopause and hormone replacement therapy.
So when 28-year-old welterweight Benn was revealed to have twice had testosterone booster, Clomifene, in his system, ahead of the original Chris Eubank Jr clash, the spotlight was shine on Sajjad, who briefly deleted his social channels.
SunSport has spoken to members of the industry who claim the doctor is a just a fame-hungry fight fan who wants photos with his heroes.
But, following the December bust of Dennis McCann – another British fighter he has been pictured with and claimed to help – the British Boxing Board of Control has moved to warn the sport of his reputation.
The circular said: “Please note that Dr Sajjad is not a registered Medical Officer with the British Boxing Board of Control and therefore, no medical documentation will be accepted at the Board’s head office undertaken by Dr Sajjad.”
Sajjad has repeatedly boasted claiming to have worked with Tyson Fury and brother Tommy.
And he even wished the Gypsy King a happy retirement after his shock exit last week.
However, Tyson’s doping charge dates back to 2015, long before Sajjad was on the circuit.
It’s worrying that boxers – and some British MMA fighters like Paddy Pimblett and Molly McCann – still associate with Sajjad after his incriminating claims.
He told the Quality Shot podcast: “If you are an elite level boxer, you know, pay per view, world class, European level, 80 to 90 per cent are doing it (drugs) from what I’m seeing.
“When I say doping, it’s not just steroids.
“You’ve got IV fluid infusion after weigh-ins, you’ve got diuretics, you’ve got growth hormones, you’ve got testosterone replacements.
“A lot of times in how the drug testing system works, a lot of the fights in the UK, it’s all urine testing.”
Sajjad continued: “You have to be an idiot to fail a drug test in England.
“You would have to take drugs two to three days before you fight. The urine test is after a fight. Whereas the one that trips up a lot of athletes is if you sign up to the random drug testing, which WADA (the World Anti-Doping Agency) do.
“They will track you where you are and can turn up to your house whenever and do a blood test. With a blood test, they can catch things that have been there a month.
“However you can get around the random drug testing, because between the hours of 11pm and 7am, they are not allowed to come to your house.
“A lot of athletes can take fast-acting testosterone or growth hormones which can only be in your body for seven to eight hours.
“You could take it at 9-10pm and it would be out of your system by 7am. There’s ways to get around it. A lot of tricks.”
Benn’s promoter, Eddie Hearn, claimed at the time of the scandal that his fighter barely knew the doctor and had only met once.
But Benn gave him a Versace gift to thank him for all his help in and around the doomed Eubank Jr camp.
The Matchroom boss claimed: “Firstly, I don’t know Dr Usman. I think I’ve spoken to him once in my life.
“I believe – and again this is one for Conor Benn – that Conor Benn has met him once in his entire life and that was in the gym, and has not spoken to him before that, he’s not spoken to him after that, he’s certainly given him no advice in that respect.”
3 weeks agoLatest NewsComments Off on Denis Law the last of Man Utd’s Holy Trinity, a legend immortalised in stone who Busby called football’s ‘most exciting’
HE was the last survivor of Manchester United’s “Holy Trinity”.
A legend, remembered in stone, his hand thrust skywards as he stands for ever beside his two pals, in front of the ground he graced for so long.
Denis Law has passed away at the age of 84The legendary striker is considered one of Manchester United’s biggest legendsLaw is third on United’s all-time top scorers list
And now that Denis Law has joined George Best and Bobby Charlton in death, a shadow will hang over the club.
Like his two greatest colleagues, “The Lawman” was not born in Manchester.
Where Charlton and Best both joined United as 15-year-olds, Law was 22 and already a seasoned international – indeed, caretaker Scotland boss Matt Busby gave him his debut in 1958.
But from the moment he walked through the United door, after a British record £115,000 move from the Turin club, he was at home.
Law scored after just seven minutes of his debut, a 2-2 home draw with West Brom, the first of 237 goals in 404 United games – a total only exceeded by Charlton and Wayne Rooney.
Busby later recalled: “When I signed Denis I knew that we had the most exciting player in the game.
“He was the quickest-thinking player I ever saw, seconds quicker than anyone else.
“Denis had the most tremendous acceleration and could leap to enormous heights to head the ball with almost unbelievable accuracy and often the power of a shot.
“He had the courage to take on the biggest and most ferocious of opponents and his passing was impeccable.
“No other player scored as many miracle goals as Denis Law.
“Goals which looked simple as Denis tapped them in, were simple only because Denis got himself into position so quickly that opponents just couldn’t cope with him.”
Law takes centre stage of the United Trinity statue outside Old Trafford alongside George Best and Bobby CharltonLaw was the last survivor of the Holy TrinitySir Alex Ferguson joined Law for the unveiling of the ex-striker’s statue in Aberdeen in 2021
Rare praise but words that reverberated through the years, expanding in their power with each passing season.
What stunned many rival fans was Law’s remarkable ability to hang in the air, levitating himself into the skies before heading into the net.
In his first six seasons at United, his WORST return was 24 goals, while he netted an incredible 46 in just 42 appearances in all competitions in 1963-64 – a season when United did not win any silverware.
The previous campaign, his first at Old Trafford, he had scored the opener in the 3-1 FA Cup Final win over Leicester, the only time he was to win the trophy.
And the next year, with Best integrated into the United fold, saw Law score 28 in the league and 39 in total as United became champions for the sixth time, nudging out Leeds on goal difference.
A second title was to follow two years later, a 20-match unbeaten run, beginning the day after a Boxing Day defeat at Sheffield United, seeing off the challenge of Nottingham Forest and Spurs.
Sir Matt Busby, who passed away in 1994, once said ‘no other player scored as many miracle goals as Denis Law’Busby held a United shirt against his new signing in 1962Law scored in the FA Cup final against Leicester in 1963
Law, top scorer once again, was at the heart of everything, although a knee injury meant he missed out on being part of the crowning glory of the Busby era, the 1968 European Cup Final win over Benfica.
It later transpired he had not been told of a specialist’s opinion that a knee cartilage operation had failed and needed to be repeated.
The injury was to dog the rest of his career.
Law stayed at United until 1973, seeing Best’s focus disappear and Charlton retire, before he moved back to City on a free transfer.
Nine months later, he was at the centre of one of football’s most famous inaccurate “facts”.
Legend has it that his back heel at the Stretford End in the late-season Manchester derby sent United through the relegation trapdoor.
In fact, they would have gone down in any event because of results elsewhere.
That summer, for one game only and unlike Best, he got the chance to play on the greatest stage of all.
But after a sub-par display in the narrow 2-0 win over Zaire, Willie Ormond left him out of the games with Brazil and Yugoslavia.
His international career finished after 55 appearances and a then-record – now shared with Kenny Dalglish – 30 goals and within weeks he had retired from the game, although he became a popular TV pundit.
Looking back on his days at United, Law said: “When you play with great players the game is easier.
“I was very fortunate to play alongside some of the greatest players in the world at that particular time, and for probably the greatest manager in the world, so I’ve been very lucky.”
Not as lucky as those who got the chance to see him play. They still tell their children and grandchildren about him.

Simon Gregson will continue to play taxi driver Steve McDonald in Coronation Street after his contract expired late last year.
The Sun can reveal he’s inked a new year-long deal with ITV to remain on screens.
A soap insider said: “Simon Gregson signed a new contract in December to stay on the show.
“He’s a soap legend so Corrie without him is unthinkable.
“He’s going through a tough time money-wise so the contract and knowledge he’ll be around for another year (and probably many years to come!) will be a relief.”
He has been charged more than £500-an-hour by the finance chiefs.
Simon already faces losing his house over the closure of his company, which owes the tax office and a bank £165,000.
And his conduct in transferring £252,000 from Simon Gregson Productions Ltd into a private account is being probed by the government as part of the process of any bankruptcy.
Meanwhile, Coronation Street has will see a raft of departures over the coming months.
Stars such as Paddy Bever and Shelley King have announced they’ve left the soap.
ITV bosses are locked in a battle to save the cash-strapped soap.
This means that a number of stars have either been axed from or have abandoned the long-running serial drama.

After he was told of the news in Autumn 2024, Colson Smith confirmed that would be written out of the show with scenes to air later this year. Craig’s on-screen mum, Beth Tinker, also left the show in the summer when actress Lisa George was written out from the role.
Sue Cleaver – Eileen Grimshaw
After 25 years playing Eileen Grimshaw, former I’m A Celebrity campmate Sue Cleaver will quit the show. The Sun on Sunday reported in January that she’s already begun to film her exit scenes. However the character will not be killed off in case Sue opts to make a return in the future.
The actress became the fifth star to leave Coronation Street in just one month. We revealed that she will bow out of the ITV soap later this year after four years on-screen. Charlotte told sources that she’s hungry to see what other opportunities await.
3 weeks agoLatest NewsComments Off on Experts issue warning to anyone who stores their milk in the fridge door – here’s why
WHETHER you’re a classic milk drinker or enjoy a plant alternative, it’s likely you keep your carton in the door of your fridge.
While this might make sense for convenience, experts have warned against storage step.
AlamyExperts warned against storing your cartons of milk in the door of your fridge (stock image)[/caption]
According to a report by The Daily Express, storage pros have advised against keeping your cartons of milk on your fridge door shelf.
Most households are guilty of this error, as keeping your milk in your fridge door makes it easier to grab when making a quick cuppa.
Standing it up straight instead of lying it on its side can also reduce the chance of leaks.
However, the experts at kitchen appliance company Beko, storing your milk in your fridge door can actually cost you more money.
This is because the shelf life of your milk is reduced significantly as this part of the fridge is warmer than the shelves.
According to Beko, UK households bin about £250 worth of food per person every year.
This is the equivalent of £1,000 worth of waste for a family of four.
“The way we organise our fridges can make or break our efforts to reduce food waste,” said Salah Sun, Head of Product Management at Beko UK.
“Most people don’t realise that poor fridge organisation isn’t just about aesthetics – it directly impacts food longevity and your household budget.”
To make your groceries last longer, experts suggest creating zones in your fridge.
“Temperature fluctuates within your fridge, so storing items in the right zones is crucial,” Salah Sun explained.
“The bottom shelf, being the coldest, is perfect for raw meats, while the middle shelves maintain ideal conditions for dairy and prepared foods.
“The door, often used for milk, is actually the warmest area due to frequent opening.”
“We recommend keeping more stable items like condiments and drinks in the door compartments, moving milk to the middle shelf where temperatures remain more constant.”
They explained that organising your fridge doesn’t just help reduce food waste.
Fridge or cupboard? The essential food storage guide
Foods must be stored correctly to keep them fresh and prevent the spread of bacteria.
Nutrition expert Birgit Brendel said bread will last longer when stored in the fridge or freezer.
However, this can compromise the flavour.
Storing in ceramic or pottery containers is an alternative that allows for air to flow easily and slow the growth of mould.
Robert Morris, managing director of food safety consultants, Complete Food Safety, revealed the best place to store fresh fruit and vegetables.
He said salad foods should be stored in the fridge drawer, but away from anything grown in the soil such as carrots, parsnips and beetroot.
Tomatoes are an exception to the rule as fridges can alter the natural ripening process and diminish their taste.
He also advised against putting avocados and bananas in the fridge as this will cause them to blacken quicker.
It can actually help you keep on track with any meal plans or healthy eating goals you may have.
“When you can see and access everything easily, you’re more likely to cook at home and make healthier choices,” Salah Sun added.
“Plus, maintaining optimal storage conditions means your fresh produce lasts longer, reducing both waste and shopping frequency.”

In 2021, the goalscorer revealed he was suffering from Alzheimer’s in an emotional statement.
He said he experienced anger, frustration, confusion and distress due to the condition.
There has been much research and debate into how much heading the ball has led toAlzheimer’sfor a number of ex players.
Law said: “I am at the point where I feel I want to be open about my condition.
“I have been diagnosed with ‘mixed dementia’, which is more than one type of dementia, in my case this being Alzheimer’s and Vascular dementia.
“It is an incredibly challenging and problematic disease and I have witnessed many friends go through this.
“You hope that it won’t happen to you, even make jokes about it whilst ignoring the early signs because you don’t want it to be true.
“You get angry, frustrated, confused and then worried, worried for your family, as they will be the ones dealing with it.
“However the time has come to tackle this head on, excuse the pun.
“I recognise how my brain is deteriorating and how my memory evades me when I don’t want it to and how this causes me distress in situations that are beyond my control.
