Harry is convinced of a conspiracy – but security fears are HIS fault after revealing Taliban kills, expert says

PRINCE Harry is convinced of a security threat conspiracy but it’s his fault after revealing the number of Taliban kills he had, an expert claimed.

The Duke of Sussex, 40, has just spent two days in London appealing the decision to strip him of publicly-funded security while in UK.

In his memoir Spare, Harry described viewing the Taliban fighters he killed as ‘chess pieces’

The dad-of-two made a surprise visit at the High Court to launch the case against the Home Office and the Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures (Ravec).

And following the hearing, Harry claimed axing his taxpayer-funded police protection was a PLOT to force him and Meghan back to Britain.

The Duke also moaned his “worst fears have been confirmed” by secret evidence he heard in court.

But some royal experts have claimed his fears stem from his own actions.

In his 2023 memoir Spare, Harry disclosed how he killed 25 Taliban fighters during his deployment to Afghanistan.

He described viewing the fighters as “chess pieces removed from the board”.

It triggered Taliban officials who raged the Duke should be brought before an “international court” for his “crimes” .

Now Harry has been begging “my life is stake” as he appealed against the withdrawal of his publicly-funded security while in the UK.

He claimed he was “singled out” after his round-the-clock royal protection was stripped in the wake of Megxit.

He also attempted to sue the Home Office because it refused to spend taxpayers’ money on bodyguards after he left the Royal Family.

But experts have cast doubt over his fears after he travelled to Colombia, Nigeria, and just yesterday war-torn Ukraine.

Journalists Esther Krakue and Bronte Coy sat down alongside royal correspondent Jack Royston to discuss the issue.

They spoke with The Sun’s Royal Editor Matt Wilkinson on the Royal Exclusive show.

Ms Krakue said: “It was interesting hearing the Home Office’s case, because they argued that who better qualified to actually assessing Harry, than the head of Ravik, who actually oversees these matters.

“He [Harry] is citing the fact that he’s been singled out for inferior treatment, but this is a very unique case. No one’s ever done this before.

“So I think him making this case that, ‘oh, you’re treating me badly’, okay, by what metric?

“Where in history do we have cases like this to reference against? And that’s the real problem.

“It is also, in terms of public opinion, very strange, because this is someone who went to Colombia, who went to Nigeria, who’s currently in Ukraine.

“This idea that somehow Britain is far less safe for him when he’s trotting around with his wife in these sorts of countries is baffling.

“And also, just from a technical perspective as well, I don’t think it was very wise for him to put his Taliban kill count in his book, because now we know that he has some sort of fatwa against him and he’s saying he tried to make the case that this is one of the things that’s showing that my life is at risk.

“Well, that’s something of your own doing. And you feel comfortable going to like Walmart, for example, in a country where people can readily handle guns.

Harry claims axing police protection was PLOT to force him & Meg back to UK moaning 'my worst fears have been confirmed'

PRINCE Harry has claimed axing his taxpayer-funded police protection was a PLOT to force him and Meghan back to Britain.

The Duke of Sussex, 40, also moaned his “worst fears have been confirmed” by secret evidence he heard in court.

Harry is attempting to sue the Home Office because it refused to spend taxpayers’ money on bodyguards after he left the Royal Family.

And now – after his appearance at London’s High Court this week – Harry told the Daily Telegraph the decision to withdraw his security after Megxit was “difficult to swallow”.

He felt that the decision was a scheme crafted to force him and Meghan back into the Royal Family again.

It came after Harry and Meghan quit the UK for California when they stepped back from royal duties in 2020.

“People would be shocked by what’s being held back,” he said, adding that his “worst fears have been confirmed by the whole legal disclosure in this case and that’s really sad”.

Harry said he was “exhausted” and “overwhelmed” by the security battle.

The dad-of-two said when he is being “driven by exposing injustice” and that he is determined to “get under the bonnet and fix it”.

He also hinted he would never be able to forgive what he viewed as a deliberate move to scrap the protection for his family.

The appeal decision will be handed down by the three-judge panel after Easter.

“You’re not scared of getting shot in a supermarket, but you’re scared of being in the UK where the most people can get at you is a baton and a knife.”

Jack Royston also highlighted how senior members of the Royal Family require more protection because they attend public, scheduled events.

These present more opportunity for terrorists to plan their attacks, he explained.

“You need protection when you attend royal events, but you don’t need it when you’re going to see your friends,” added Mr Royston.

“You know, when you’re doing something privately, you don’t need a police officer with you.”

And Bronte Coy raised the question of Harry attending the two day High Court hearing when no one expected him to.

This follows Harry shock arrival in Ukraine yesterday to meet with war victims and veterans.

The Duke of Sussex made the unannounced trip as part of his ongoing work with wounded veterans, a spokesperson said.

He went to the Superhuman Center, an orthopedic clinic in Lviv, that treats and rehabilitates wounded military personnel and civilians.

The dad of two saw how the services are rolled out in a war-torn country.

The center provides prosthetics, reconstructive surgery and psychological help free of charge.

Harry, who served 10 years in the British Army, has worked tirelessly on providing support for injured veterans since founding the Invictus Games.

But the trip sparked backlash from some experts who branded Harry a hypocrite for moaning about security and then visiting a war ravaged country.

Royal author Phil Dampier told The Sun he thought it was “ridiculous” while Hugo Vickers said he was “torn”.

Prince Harry didn’t visit King Charles despite pair being miles apart as he trtravelled to UK for court whinge over security

By Matt Wilkinson

MOANING Prince Harry did not meet his dad after jetting in to complain about his UK security — even though the King was just miles away.

Harry arrived at Heathrow on Sunday while Charles was in London for rescheduled cancer treatment ahead of an official trip to Italy.

It is not known if the Prince requested a meeting, but it is believed the pair have now not seen each other in person for 14 months.

As Charles, 76, took on four long engagements in Rome in eight hours — Harry was in the High Court to whinge about his 24-hour armed guards being removed since he is no longer a working royal.

It has previously been reported that Charles is “frustrated” at Harry’s long-running legal fight and worries his son wants to lobby him in the “mistaken belief that the King has control over his security”.

Meanwhile the King and Queen Camilla enjoyed a ceremonial welcome in Rome, including a joint display by the Red Arrows and Italian counterparts Frecce Tricolori.

They also walked up 44 steps to place a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

The couple were greeted with rousing cheers at the Colosseum and hosted a reception.

Today they celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary in the city with a string of further engagements.

Buckingham Palace declined to comment.

‘What is going on at Spurs?’ – Tottenham fan spotted in stands with PUPPET to watch Europa League clash

FANS have been left baffled after a Tottenham supporter brought a PUPPET along for the Europa League clash with Eintracht Frankfurt.

The Spurs fan went viral after showcasing his blue pal during Thursday’s showdown in North London.

Tottenham drew 1-1 with the Bundesliga side to leave the tie finely poised ahead of the second leg.

But supporters of teams from up and down the country were more concerned with finding the identity of “Paxton Puppet Man”.

The fan was seated behind the goal at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

He was filmed holding the puppet aloft, with the cuddly figure decked out in his own tiny Spurs shirt and shorts.

One fan quipped on X after the clip went viral: “One muppet watching 11 of them.”

Another wrote: “What is going on at Spurs?!

And a third joked: “Levy definitely charged him double admission fee.”

While a fourth laughed: “Got to fill those extra seats somehow.”

Unfortunately for the puppet, there wasn’t much to shout about after Pedro Porro cancelled out Hugo Ekitike’s early opener.

Spurs have won just two of their last eight games across all competitions.

And boss Ange Postecoglou revealed there is a MOLE in the building – who has been leaking his plans.

The Aussie revealed: “Look, there is no doubt we have got a leak inside the club.

“Somebody who continues to leak out information. They have all year. I don’t know why.

“It doesn’t help us. It just makes our job more difficult.

“We try really hard to keep things in-house like all clubs because we don’t want on game-day opposition being aware of any sort of team selection.

“But we’ve got somebody within our camp who continually gives out information.

“We’ve narrowed it down, we’ve been looking at it for quite a while and kind of have a fair idea of where it is coming from.”

Agony for parents as teachers vote in favour of MORE school strikes bringing misery to millions

FRESH school strikes are on the cards as government pay offers are rejected.

They could see thousands of kids across the UK stay at home for days as teacher walkouts close schools.

School strikes are set to leave hard-pressed parents either forking out for childcare or taking time off work.

The potential industrial action has been masterminded by the National Education Union (NEU) amid a row over pay.

Teachers have voted to reject the Government’s offer of 2.8 per cent for all teachers and leaders in England, according to the NEU.

The union’s members announced their willingness to strike in order to gain more funding for school staff recruitment and retention, the organisation said.

Overall, 93.7 per cent of NEU members who responded to the preliminary ballot voted to reject the Government’s recommendation of a 2.8 per cent pay rise.

And, 83.4 per cent said they would be willing to strike.

After the ballot, Daniel Kebede, general secretary of the NEU, criticised years of “pay cuts against inflation” and said a “relentless workload”, has led to a “recruitment and retention crisis” across all schools in England.

He said: “Our members know that there needs to be a major pay correction, with teacher pay significantly improved against inflation and other professions, for us to have any hope of filling vacancies in our schools or attracting graduates into teaching.

“The Government’s response is a 2.8 per cent increase from September which will be below inflation and way behind earnings growth in the wider economy.

“To add insult to injury, the pay offer is unfunded, with Government suggesting ‘efficiencies’ will cover the cost.

“Our members tell us every day of the desperate state their schools are in due to lack of funding – and this will only make things worse.

“The Government must listen to our profession and change course on teacher pay.

“And it must recognise the dire state of school funding and invest in education, to give the next generation the best chance possible in life.

“We call on the Government to do the right thing and fund fair pay and invest in our schools.”

The preliminary electronic ballot, of serving teacher members who work in English state schools, ran from March 1 to April 11, the organisation said.

The overall turnout was 134,487, or 47.2 per cent of those eligible to vote, according to the union.

In February and March of 2023, strikes took place across seven days.

On February 1 school staff in England and Wales staged their first walkout.

Then they went ahead on a regional basis on February 14 and 28, and March 1, 2.

Finally, nationwide walkouts in England and Wales were held on March 15 and 16.

At the time, Dr Mary Bousted and Kevin Courtney, Joint General Secretaries of the National Education Union, said: “We have continually raised our concerns with successive education secretaries about teacher and support staff pay and its funding in schools and colleges, but instead of seeking to resolve the issue they have sat on their hands.

“It is disappointing that the Government prefers to talk about yet more draconian anti-strike legislation, rather than work with us to address the causes of strike action.”
