BOO baskets took over TikTok for Halloween and now Be Mine Baskets are taking the internet by storm in the lead up to Valentine’s Day.
Whether you’re in a relationship, celebrating Galentine’s or simply want to show someone you care about, that you love them, Aldi has jumped on the trend and shown shoppers how to make their own – without breaking the bank.

Aldi shoppers can now create their own Be Mine Valentine’s basket with middle aisle buys[/caption]
Posting on their Instagram page Aldi Special Buys UK, the shop shared exactly how to make the Valentine’s hamper.
If you were to recreate it with the same products, it would cost £23. Or if you’re looking to spend less, use it as inspo to wander around the shops for other items.
In the caption of the clip, they described the haul as their version of a “Valentine’s Be Mine Basket,” adding that “this is a hint”.
They recommended grabbing “everything to recreate your own in store”.
For their first item, they added a Valentine’s card for £1.99 and a packet of 99p Squashies Love Hearts.
You can also jazz up both your basket and your space with 99p Valentine’s Day decorative petals.
Shoppers can also pick up heart-shaped and letter balloons, also available for 99p.
They also suggested opting for a bottle of Ballycastle Country Cream Raspberry, which costs just £7.49.
There are also a variety of Valentine’s soft toys available, including a popcorn bucket that says “You make my heart pop” and spicy peppers that read “You are red hot”.
However, it’s the £6.99 Lacura Eau de Parfum that may prove the most popular with your loved one.
The budget beauty buy is an affordable dupe of the Prada Paradoxe Eau de Parfum, which usually retails for £69 from Boots.
Other bargain scents are available from Aldi, including the Men’s Eau de Pardum Pure Noir, £5.99, and the Hotel Collection No. 3 Pomegranate Eau de Parfum, £6.65.
In a post on their TikTok account, Aldi shared some more of the “products landing on the aisle” this week.
These included the £2.99 block tech flowers, which are a cheaper version of the viral Lego bouquets.
Customers can also pick up a heart-shaped silicone ice mould for just £2.49 in the lead up to Valentine’s Day.
