Next week in Coronation Street, Daisy is feeling the pressure over the money they owe Carla, completely unaware that Jenny is sitting on a secret windfall.
While Daisy frets, Jenny stays tight-lipped, keeping the truth under wraps.
Meanwhile, Daniel tries to lift Daisy’s spirits by suggesting she move in with him and Bertie.
But despite the offer of a fresh start, Daisy hesitates – she can’t bring herself to leave Jenny behind.
Sensing Daisy’s stress, Jenny hands her a spa voucher, pretending she bought it to cheer her up.
A touched Daisy is grateful for the gesture, while Jenny silently battles her guilt.
How long can she keep her secret?
Later in the week, Jenny’s moment of distraction leads to every parent’s worst nightmare – as little Bertie is pulled from the hot tub in a terrifying near-tragedy.
While Jenny focuses on a bank call, Bertie wanders into the garden at No.4, spotting his football floating in the water.
Moments later, Steve and Cassie arrive for a steamy dip – only to be met with a horrifying sight.
As a panicked Jenny searches frantically for Bertie, Steve and Cassie emerge from the house, the little boy dripping wet in their arms.
Daisy is quick to unleash her fury, warning Jenny she could have lost Bertie – just like she lost Tom.
Wracked with guilt, Jenny is beside herself as Bertie is rushed to hospital. But will he be okay?
Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 or stream from 7am on ITVX.

Bethany Platt’s grooming ordeal in Coronation Street – Vulnerable schoolgirl, played by Lucy Fallon, was at the centre of one of Corrie’s darkest storylines to date when she fell under the spell of her older boyfriend and sexual predator.

Whitney Dean’s abuse from Tony in EastEnders – Since the age of 12, she had been in a twisted relationship with her stepmum Bianca’s boyfriend, Tony King. The predator had groomed young Whit (Shona McGarty), making her believe she was in love and planning to run away with him.
