Spain face the Netherlands away on Thursday then at home in Valencia on Sunday in the Nations League quarter finals.
The reigning European champions have been monitoring the Amsterdam-born centre back’s progress with Bournemouth closely this season.
But scouts will use the next few days to get an even closer look at the player who has enjoyed a brilliant debut season in the Premier League.
Huijsen, 19, only cost Bournemouth £15million from Italians Juventus last summer.
He has played a key role in the club’s impressive results this season which has pushed the club to the fringes of European qualification from the Premier League.
He scored his first Premier League goal on December 5 against Tottenham then hit the target again 17 days later against Manchester United.
United are also tracking Huijsen with a view to a summer swoop.
Bournemouth sit tenth in the league having lost 2-1 to Brentford on Saturday.
