EMMERDALE is set to air some of its most harrowing scenes yet as a limo crash sends shockwaves through the village – and not everyone will make it out alive.
Following Friday’s episode, tensions were already running high in both limos as the two groups set off on their separate journeys.

EastEnders stars have revealed lives will be left hanging in the balance in an upcoming episode of the soap[/caption]

Dominic Brunt confirmed that some characters will die in the car accident[/caption]
While the girls’ limo was filled with laughter, goodie bags, and fizz, things were far from celebratory in the boys’ vehicle.
Caleb’s anger towards his brother Cain was at boiling point, and the atmosphere was thick with resentment.
But no one could have predicted the devastation that lay ahead.
Caleb is forced to swerve violently to avoid an oncoming truck, while Charity’s limo veers dangerously after she catches sight of Noah stumbling into the road.
In the chaotic moments that follow passengers are thrown around, glass shatters, and characters can be heard crying in distress.
One of the limousines ends up stranded on a frozen lake, with its occupants waking up to the terrifying realization that they are balancing on dangerously thin ice.
Speaking about the dramatic episodes ahead, Joshua Richards, who plays Bear, explained: “The two limos head out of the village together.
“They turn in different directions at the top of the village and take their own routes, but later both vehicles are involved in crashes – although the crashes are unrelated to each other.”
His co-star Dominic Brunt (Paddy) added: “They drive them very badly and that’s why it all ends in tears. There’s a huge cliffhanger at the end of this episode – a literal cliffhanger – as some people will leave this earth!”
Michelle Hardwick (Vanessa) teased just how shocking the storyline will be, sharing: “The story is amazing too as there are two limos, and they both swerve off the road, and the audience has literally no idea which limo has got onto the lake. Lives are definitely left hanging in the balance.
“There is a lot of jeopardy with both limos, and we are going to be saying goodbye to certain characters. But it will be an exciting watch and a real cliffhanger – even when I was just reading the script, I was gripped and just had to keep turning the pages.
“It was like reading a fantastic book you can’t put down, and I can’t wait for our audience to see it on screen.”
As the icy water claims its first victim, someone is seen sinking beneath the surface – until a hand plunges into the depths in a desperate bid to save them.
Who will make it out alive, and which beloved characters will meet a tragic fate?
This episode of Emmerdale is set to air on Monday, February 10, at 7.30 pm on ITV1 and ITX.
