I was sick of my 28Gs so went to the ‘booby doc’ for a reduction – I had to wear ‘heavy duty’ bras & was in so much pain

A WOMAN has opened up about her choice to get a reduction after struggling with her 28G breasts.

Siff Haider discussed her surgery on The Dream Bigger podcast, and admitted that people don’t realise how hard it can be.

The entrepreneur and podcast host explained she wanted a breast reduction for years before she finally went through with it.

“It is very impractical to do regular things with boobs that size, quite frankly,” she said.

Running and working out required “heavy duty” sports bras, and Siff experienced shoulder, back and neck pain, all because of her chest size.

“I was just always sore in my upper body and I was just kind of done with it,” she said.

And shopping for cute tops and dresses was never a fun experience, since she always had to think about what clothes would look like with her bigger chest.

Because of that, any type of strapless or backless outfits were out of the question.

Eventually, enough was enough for Siff and she decided to go through with the surgery and began researching to find the perfect doctor for the job.

“If this is something that is making my quality of life worse, then why not change it?” she said.

“I’d gotten to the point where I was complaining about it a lot, or I would think to myself ‘wouldn’t it be nice to wear one bra when working out instead of two?’

“And so I was done with complaining about it and decided I was going to make a change,” Siff added.

After finding a doctor she was happy with, it was time to go under the knife.

She found the exact look she wanted for her new boobs, and showed her doctor some inspiration pictures so they were on the same page.

Then her doctor suggested a fat transfer to give her her new smaller boobs the full and perky look.

“Because he was going to be taking out quite a bit of fat from my existing boobs and also from the under arm area […] it was going to be a fairly easy process,” she said.

The goal, according the Siff, was to get her down to a size that was “proportional” for her body.

Because she’d always loved the shape of her curvy figure, Siff knew she didn’t want to go too small, which is why she landed on going down to a size D.

Siff started prepping for her surgery weeks beforehand and stuck to a strict diet of healthy food and no alcohol to make sure she was in the best shape for recovery.

When the big day came Siff knew she was in good hands.

Although, she admitted not being able to eat or drink eight hours before her surgery did make her slightly “nervous”.

After the three hour operation, Siff was prescribed a painkiller, stool softener, anti-biotics and an anti-nausea patch.

“To this day I’m shocked at how manageable the pain was,” she said.

“More than anything, more than the pain, the dehydration was the gnarliest part of this whole thing,” she added.

But after catching up on her water intake, Siff said she was feeling much better.

But recovery didn’t end there – Siff had to stick to a strict regime the weeks after her surgery.

She had red light therapy to help with scarring, as well as some more medication to help with inflamation.

Not only that, but she was told she’d have to eat 20 percent more calories than usual, which was something she hadn’t anticipated.

“Few the first few days it was a little challenging, I was just dumping a lot of high quality fats into my food, and I hope that helped,” Siff explained.

Brain fog and exhaustion also played a big part in her recovery, especially during the first week.

“For the first three days I had to nap in the middle of the day,” she said.

Overall though, Siff was noted how happy she’s been with the results of her surgery.

“I feel so much lighter in a way I can’t explain, my back already feels better,” she said.

And the dread of shopping for cute tops and dresses has gone too.

“It was really difficult for me to wear anything,” she said.

Common Causes of Saggy Boobs

Gravity: Over time, the constant pull of gravity can cause the ligaments in the boobs to stretch and sag, especially in larger ones

Smoking: Smoking reduces blood supply to the skin, leading to a loss of elasticity and premature sagging

Lack of Support: Not wearing a properly fitting bra, especially during exercise, can lead to stretching of breast tissue and ligaments

Weight gain and loss: Changes in body weight can spark changes to the fatty tissue in the breasts, making them more prone to sagging
