THE prestigious World Indoor Bowls Championships is rolling on at speed at Potters Resorts after a new ladies singles champion was crowned.
Julie Forrest become a three-time champ after beating Beth Riva 2-1 in a thrilling final on Thursday.
Though Riva leaves Potters having won the mixed pairs alongside Jason Banks this week.
Elsewhere, Stewart Anderson is the firm favourite to win the open singles title once again this year after he picked up the iconic award for a third time in 2024.
The Scotsman faces David Gourlay MBE in the quarter-finals on Friday morning.
